About: I’ve been a lifelong dog lover who grew up begging for a dog. After college, I brought home my first dog—a golden retriever who was the center of my world. Over the years, I’ve gained experience with dogs of all kinds: high-energy, troublemakers, dogs with medical needs, seniors, and everything in between. My uncle next door had a dog who had 3 litters of golden retriever mixes. I helped him raise and take care of them. In college, I was a nanny for a family with a lab and black cat. When they were out of town I took care of their pets. I nannied for a second family a few years later and babysat their golden retriever, bunny, and 2 persian cats when they would go on vacation as well. At times I would also babysit my sister’s chihuahua mix overnight. I had two cats for about 10 years.I also own two sugar gliders. I have a miniature pincher mix, she is the friendliest dog and gets along with any dog or person. Couch potato all day kind of dog but loves to go play with other dogs at the dog park. Pets and children are my specialty. I love all animals even if I am allergic to most of them :). I work from home mon-fri 7am-3pm. My dog gets me out of the house and if she has a friend to walk with or visit, it would be a fun playdate for her as well! I have given meds to both my cats since they are seniors. My sister’s dog had pills she had to take as well, which i would do when i babysat her. I am pretty easy going with what i need to do for who ever asks me to watch their pets because I care about what they need. My brother has a German Shepherd named Kai, my dad has a 3 legged chocolate lab, Bixby, and two cats, Socks and Olaf, that I frequently care for. I am familiar with small, medium, and large breeds. Dogs with behavioral issues, food aggression or dogs that require specific instructions. I am an early riser, I go to the gym and run before work. If you have a high energy dog, I am a good fit for you. I will make sure your pup is tired by the end of our visit. I will make sure your pet is safe by making sure there are no hazards and if we go for a walk I will keep your pet on a leash and protected against any threat. I have had many dogs off leash run up to myself and a clients dog and I always put myself in-between my clients dog and the others.
