We have a 15 year old senior cat, a 2 year old cat, a few chickens and a bearded dragon so it’s a lot to look after. Marcella took great care of everyone and was very communicative with me about the visits. I think she went above and beyond, even bringing my chickens scraps (which they love whenever they get them). She spent extra time with the cats and when I returned home I didn’t feel that my senior cat was stressed at all that we had been gone, and my younger usually outdoor/indoor cat didn’t seem to be upset at having been indoors all week. About: I have four years of hands-on experience working in a veterinary clinic, along with a Bachelor’s degree in Animal Science, and I am currently a first-year veterinary student at Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine. About: I currently have a 1 year old English mastiff who is 170 pounds and he is the best boy! He has to walk 2-3 miles everyday, so your pup will be definitely walked until they don’t want to move! I also had a rescue dog who was a Rottweiler mix who was very reactive. He was reactive towards other dogs and people, but luckily I was able to learn from him. I currently work full time during the week, and have to walk my mastiff 2-3 miles after work so he sleeps at night, but the weekends I am able to come walk with your dogs. I do not plan on bringing your dog to my house, but any instruction you need me to follow I will once I am in your home.
About: I’ve been taking care of all different types of animals from lizards to ferrets to turtles and, of course cats and dogs since before I can remember! About: I have 2 dogs of my own and foster puppies and adult dogs as well. We also have chickens. I love animals of all types and understand how difficult it can be to find someone you trust with their care. I am a Registered Nurse and caring for animals comes as natural to me as caring for people. Caring for your pets gives me the flexibility to spend time with them but also be available as a mom. My daughter loves animals and is very helpful and loving. I have a flexible work schedule and mostly work from home. I am able to interact while working and provide frequent potty breaks and extra attention as needed. I do feed separately to avoid food aggression issues which can sometimes happen in new environments. I have 2 dogs of my own and a fenced in yard. There is plenty of space to run and play and also lounge and nap! We’d love to know what your dog's typical routine is at home as well as any behaviors (food/toy aggression) or quirks we should be aware of. I will do my best to accommodate any special needs. We like being surrounded by fur babies! We have three kitties and one Golden Doodle that is eager to have fun with your dog (he is very gentle despite his large size). Both my husband and I work remotely so at least one of us will be at the house at all times. We will be able to take care of your pet’s needs! We have a fenced yard (with night lights!) with ample space for dogs to run and do their business. About: I have been around animals ever since I was born, and started my first job petsitting in only 6th grade. I have worked with a variety of animals ranging from dogs and cats, to ducks, to chinchillas, to horses! About: I decided to try letting a husky pull me on roller blades 27 years ago, and a bond was created that I am convinced was the greatest thing ever. I became an aspiring writer and began researching dogs, playing with them and loving them all the same. I understood that some people just had that dog thing, but I wanted to know why. Still working on my writing, and still researching, I started roller blading around Webster lake with a rescue puppy this past year. I remembered the incredible joys that a dog would have discovering the freedom, and it's really incredible. I don't claim to be a dog whisperer, but I have learned from studying dog behaviors and personalities. Honey has been incredible this season. Some dogs would rather just sniff, and it's arguably the most incredible of dog traits. Sometimes finding the space to run can be a challenge, but even just on a walk, it's all about giving them the chance to choose when you can. I have been an educator as a substitute and a paraprofessional, and enjoyed 20 years with a number of schools and institutions. Coaching tennis, track, and rock climbing, I love giving new experiences. As director for an adventure camp or as recreation games coordinator, I was able to incorporate a team into all the fun. Relying on the service industry for work, I have developed my communication skills in many fields. 3 years working for the May Institute with adults with severe disabilities gained me a humility not found elsewhere. In the Healthcare industry I found incredible individuals who just fit their calling, and you were better for being around them. The last 2 years I have traveled the state as a licensed pest technician solving homeowner problems, and keeping people safe. I enjoyed being a source of information, and health, and was careful to appreciate coming into someone's home and life. I'm currently planning on returning to school to attain my message therapy certification and utilize my background in health. It's a good plan with modification, and I am hopeful that Amazon flexibility will help. I'm the kind of person who starts with a smile, and believes that kindness is always an option. My heart was for my Dog Reggie my black lab. I had him for 7 long years and he's in heaven now. So I would enjoy taking care of yours which brings good memories back :) ,plus I love to play ,cuddle, spoil and take your dog for trail walks or to the parks or lake. Your dog will get lots of attention from me and my kids who love dogs and miss their own.. An added bonus, I consult with people and their pets for health and healing. I have my own hair, and Holistic healing business and have a flexible schedule. , But, most important is attention, and exercise for your dog, he will get his or her 3-4 walks a day :) If your dog has strong separation anxiety, barks all day, or is aggressive, or not housebroken, he will not be a proper fit. About: I have had a love for dogs ever since I was a child. My family got our first when I was 5 and since then we have had three others that we have adopted as well. With those dogs obviously came a lot of taking care of them, as well as playing with them. Along with my own dogs, I have also volunteered/worked at an animal shelter for around 2 years, where I would take the dogs out each day, give them food and water, and play with them until they hopefully found a forever home. While working at the shelter, I also fell in love with some of the dogs so I fostered around 25 of the dogs during my time at the shelter until they found a family. I am currently just working here and there for my dad while I am home for the summer, so I am available to take in your dog whenever. I have no set schedule with any other work, so whenever I’m needed, I will be there. I have a very large backyard for your dog to run around in, and two extremely friendly dogs who would love to meet new friends. I also am very used to crating dogs because of working at the shelter so if that is what your dog needs then consider it done.
