“We couldn’t be happier with the care Matt and Patty provided for our Golden Retriever during the 10 nights we were out of the country. From the very beginning, we felt completely comfortable leaving him in their care. We were able to visit their home beforehand, and they have a wonderful setup, including a large, fully fenced backyard with plenty of room for him to play. Throughout our trip, Matt and Patty sent us frequent updates and photos, which gave us tremendous peace of mind. They took him on daily walks around the neighborhood, gave him lots of attention, and it was very clear that he was happy, comfortable, and well cared for. What really stood out to us was how they handled a day when he wasn’t feeling well and developed some stomach issues. Matt immediately contacted us, proactively made an appointment with the vet, and made sure we were comfortable with him taking our dog in to be seen. They truly cared for him as if he were their own. When we returned, we came home to a very happy puppy, and we could tell he had been loved and well cared for the entire time. About: I currently have a 1 year old English mastiff who is 170 pounds and he is the best boy! He has to walk 2-3 miles everyday, so your pup will be definitely walked until they don’t want to move! I also had a rescue dog who was a Rottweiler mix who was very reactive. He was reactive towards other dogs and people, but luckily I was able to learn from him. I currently work full time during the week, and have to walk my mastiff 2-3 miles after work so he sleeps at night, but the weekends I am able to come walk with your dogs. I do not plan on bringing your dog to my house, but any instruction you need me to follow I will once I am in your home.

About: I have 2 dogs of my own and foster puppies and adult dogs as well. We also have chickens. I love animals of all types and understand how difficult it can be to find someone you trust with their care. I am a Registered Nurse and caring for animals comes as natural to me as caring for people. Caring for your pets gives me the flexibility to spend time with them but also be available as a mom. My daughter loves animals and is very helpful and loving. I have a flexible work schedule and mostly work from home. I am able to interact while working and provide frequent potty breaks and extra attention as needed. I do feed separately to avoid food aggression issues which can sometimes happen in new environments. I have 2 dogs of my own and a fenced in yard. There is plenty of space to run and play and also lounge and nap! We’d love to know what your dog's typical routine is at home as well as any behaviors (food/toy aggression) or quirks we should be aware of. I will do my best to accommodate any special needs. Please let us know if they are on any medications or have any health issues. I DO NOT accept dogs that are aggressive, excessive barkers, non-house trained, destructive, or have severe separation anxiety. All dogs who stay in our home must be well socialized, healthy (i.e. not sick with any contagious diseases that could be passed onto humans or other dogs) and up to date on their vaccines and flea/tick preventatives. About: I have had cats and dogs for over 6 years (with many more years of hamster experience) and my husband was raised with many pets since he was 3 years old (cats, dogs, chicken and even birds). We like being surrounded by fur babies! We have three kitties and one Golden Doodle that is eager to have fun with your dog (he is very gentle despite his large size). Both my husband and I work remotely so at least one of us will be at the house at all times. We will be able to take care of your pet’s needs! We have a fenced yard (with night lights!) with ample space for dogs to run and do their business. We have a fully-furnished basement where guests doggies can spend as much private time as they want, sleep on the bean bag, or look at the window to the outside! We have crates that are large and medium in case they are needed.

About: My very friendly little dog and I would love to host your dog here with us, up to 40 pounds only though...Or if your pal would benefit from a playmate, we would love to come sit for you! Well first off, I've been trusted with the care of many precious pets for years now...And enjoy it very much...I am fun, caring, and engaging, as well as all ble's, reliable, dependable, and responsible! And I took a CPR pet course, and human one as well. I have had cats mostly all my life, and now own a small dog of my own, who as I stated earlier, could, or doesn't have to if need be, come with me, as some love to have a playmate for their pet...And I know my friendly little guy very much enjoys the visit. But with anyone coming to my home, my guy will be there too, and they must all be friendly, and then we have nothing but a good time. Which brings me to, I can watch any animal, esp in the animals home and of any size...It is my home that, as also mentioned above, I would only be able to take in a small or medium sized dog, cat, or caged pet. And my home, that I live in with just my little guy, is pretty open and spacious for dogs to move around, and I have fenced in my backyard just off the back door porch for even more run around fun. And now onto my prices, I had to do additions a certian way on here...As to plus a cat if I'm also coming to care for your dog...But I can always modify and give a discount if say you have many plus one cats in your home so it doesn't keep plus one'ing a fee...Or if you have wonderfully easy small dogs, I would not keep plus one'ing for those and would find a nice set fee, and especially if my little guy could also come enjoy them, or they could come spend the time with us...It's the large ones that can be more of a handful and take a bit more doing often times, that I have to have it set that way for. And I did just recently up my prices some as I've noticed that Rover charges per night and I am not loving that, I always on my own charge per day, so I up'd my prices some to reflect that. But have noticed that I am still under many, esp when it comes to multiple pets, and so that is good. So you can always send me a msg and we can discuss any and all options. I can often work staying elsewhere into my routine, even if many miles away...Pop ins as well can be worked in more easily than not...Esp when it's on the way to work or right near work...And my work schedule often varies and can be shifted if need be...But that brings me to, work is part time, so I won't be gone hours upon hours at a time, but those hours could fall into the evening as in dinner could be an hour or 2 late an evening or 2, if that is alright. And I put a certain radius...But I have stayed in homes miles and miles away, out of state even, just ask if it's doable, it very well may be! But for pop ins and walks, I would prefer to travel within 10 miles or so from my home only. So I did just update this for a 45 miles out, but obviously I cannot be doing a pop in or daily walk so far away. I care for pets in my home or their home the same way I care for my pet in his home...With the added, well, additions that your pet may need. My home is often more foolproof safe...Such as I have an indoor fenced area around my front door...And I do sometimes bring something similar with me to others homes...I prefer to be (overly) safe than sorry.

About: I have been around animals ever since I was born, and started my first job petsitting in only 6th grade. I have worked with a variety of animals ranging from dogs and cats, to ducks, to chinchillas, to horses! I’ve always felt like I have a strong connection with animals, and see my own animals as children. This is why I want to help others take care of their fur babies knowing that they are in safe kind hands while they are away. It is my number one priority to make sure your animal is happy, safe, and comfortable in your absence. Every animal has its own personality, and I’ve loved bonding with so many animals over the years. Animal experience: -dog -cat -horse -goat -chicken -duck -bunny -hamster -Guinea pig -chinchilla -turtle -hermit crab -fish Pet sitting is my full time job, so I have a very flexible schedule and am available throughout the day for walks, drop in visits, and overnight care. I do have a few weekly dog walking clients that typically keep me busy from around 10 AM to 2 PM, but outside of those visits I am generally very flexible and can work around your schedule. I am also happy to accommodate same day bookings whenever possible! I firmly believe that a consistent routine for an animal is key to keeping them comfortable, especially if you are to leave. I would follow the owners daily routine to help keep your animals calmer. If they are crate trained I can put them in their crate, watch them in the yard, take them on walks, play with them, and cuddle at the end of the day. About: I decided to try letting a husky pull me on roller blades 27 years ago, and a bond was created that I am convinced was the greatest thing ever. I became an aspiring writer and began researching dogs, playing with them and loving them all the same. I understood that some people just had that dog thing, but I wanted to know why. Still working on my writing, and still researching, I started roller blading around Webster lake with a rescue puppy this past year. I remembered the incredible joys that a dog would have discovering the freedom, and it's really incredible. I don't claim to be a dog whisperer, but I have learned from studying dog behaviors and personalities. Honey has been incredible this season. Some dogs would rather just sniff, and it's arguably the most incredible of dog traits. Sometimes finding the space to run can be a challenge, but even just on a walk, it's all about giving them the chance to choose when you can. I have been an educator as a substitute and a paraprofessional, and enjoyed 20 years with a number of schools and institutions. Coaching tennis, track, and rock climbing, I love giving new experiences. As director for an adventure camp or as recreation games coordinator, I was able to incorporate a team into all the fun. Relying on the service industry for work, I have developed my communication skills in many fields. 3 years working for the May Institute with adults with severe disabilities gained me a humility not found elsewhere. In the Healthcare industry I found incredible individuals who just fit their calling, and you were better for being around them. The last 2 years I have traveled the state as a licensed pest technician solving homeowner problems, and keeping people safe. I enjoyed being a source of information, and health, and was careful to appreciate coming into someone's home and life. I'm currently planning on returning to school to attain my message therapy certification and utilize my background in health. It's a good plan with modification, and I am hopeful that Amazon flexibility will help. I'm the kind of person who starts with a smile, and believes that kindness is always an option. I understand that taking care of your animals and home is a sacred thing, and I will remain transparent and available. I'm currently working for Amazon, Sunday through Wednesday, and have Thursday, Friday, and Saturday completely free for services. Additionally I can be available for any other days with proper notice, due to Amazon's flexibility with their scheduling. Our yard is fenced in, and our two rescue dogs enjoy their space very much playing and running around. Our 16 year old cat enjoys being an inside/outside cat very much, and has adapted to our precocious new additions. Our back door is opened frequently.

About: I fostered kittens and cats until I was 6 years old, and I grew up around big dogs like mastiffs and pitties! I’ve grew up with cats my whole life and currently have one; I have owned a dog, leopard gecko, guinea pig, fish, and small insects. I have also pet sat a lovebird and bunny before! I currently only work during weekends and have a completely flexible weekday schedule as of now, I often go on daily long hikes/walks and am free throughout any part of the day and have plenty of time to hang out with and care for your pets! About: I have had a love for dogs ever since I was a child. My family got our first when I was 5 and since then we have had three others that we have adopted as well. With those dogs obviously came a lot of taking care of them, as well as playing with them. Along with my own dogs, I have also volunteered/worked at an animal shelter for around 2 years, where I would take the dogs out each day, give them food and water, and play with them until they hopefully found a forever home. “We couldn’t be happier with the care Matt and Patty provided for our Golden Retriever during the 10 nights we were out of the country. From the very beginning, we felt completely comfortable leaving him in their care. We were able to visit their home beforehand, and they have a wonderful setup, including a large, fully fenced backyard with plenty of room for him to play. Throughout our trip, Matt and Patty sent us frequent updates and photos, which gave us tremendous peace of mind. They took him on daily walks around the neighborhood, gave him lots of attention, and it was very clear that he was happy, comfortable, and well cared for. What really stood out to us was how they handled a day when he wasn’t feeling well and developed some stomach issues. Matt immediately contacted us, proactively made an appointment with the vet, and made sure we were comfortable with him taking our dog in to be seen. They truly cared for him as if he were their own. When we returned, we came home to a very happy puppy, and we could tell he had been loved and well cared for the entire time. Our situation was a little unusual because my cats and I have been displaced from our home due to a mold issue, and one of my boys, Jack, had already been experiencing health symptoms.
