About: I have been caring for dogs since I was 10. They bring me so much joy. I have owned many dogs for over 30 years, all breeds. We have a large fenced in yard and we go on many walks throughout the day. I am home full-time. We have a golden retriever named Bear and chocolate lab named Moose who add energy, fun and lots of snuggles to our home. I owned a successful dog boarding business in our home for over ten years, with many repeat furry clients. I have cared for everything from Great Danes to Jack Russell Terriers and love them all. I have a large fenced in yard and the dogs can go out as often as they like. They are welcome on the furniture and i have many dog beds. The dogs are welcome to sleep anywhere they like in our home on a couch or dog bed, but they need to be able to sleep with their dog friends for company. About: I Grew up with dogs and cats! I love any kind of animal. And my son does. He would be coming with me to play, feed or walk the animal. About: Along with growing up with two dogs and helping to raise a puppy as a teenager, family friends and neighbors have relied on me to take care of their dogs and cats since I was ten. I've worked with all types of dogs, from Shih Tzus to Pit Bull mixes. I'm the one in my family who takes the dogs out on long hikes (or for short walks around the block once they get older), brushes their teeth and fur, gives them baths, and trims their nails. I'm a regular volunteer at cat shelters in cat care, and as a student on the pre-veterinary track, I have shadowed and volunteered at vet clinics to better understand the care that goes into your pets' health. Besides dogs and cats, I also have experience with a myriad of animals, such as hamsters, rabbits, chinchillas, guinea pigs, mice, fish, hermit crabs, geckos, snakes, tortoises, and turtles. I have experience in preparing special diets for pets and other animals with specific health needs, and in senior dog care. Over the summer, I work at my internships in animal care for much of the work day, but that leaves afternoons, evenings, and early mornings for me to check in on your pets and give any care they need (breakfast/dinner, walks, baths, etc.). Over the school year, I will have more hours available to fit in more time with your pets (i.e. walking and bathing/grooming, more playtime, etc.). As a lover of all creatures, I take the safety of both pets and wildlife seriously. As such, I will always supervise pets that are outside in yards and keep them on leashes outside fenced-off areas so they are not a danger to others or themselves. If transporting pets in my car, I will keep them safe and secure in a carrier/crate. As a college student who has shared living spaces with new people before, I understand the importance of respecting others' belongings and boundaries. During drop-in visits, I will be sure to respect your home and any rules you may have for your comfort (i.e. no shoes in the house, specific dishes/silverware for pets only, general cleanliness, etc.).

I’m currently working part time as a dog walker, so my availability will be weekdays after 4PM until 10PM, and 8AM to 6PM on weekends (weekend sittings are available for full days on Sat/Sun) My yard unfortunately isn’t fenced in, so I always make sure my dogs are leashed and are wearing their collars with AirTags just in case. I don’t board dogs at my house due to the yard having no fence. When walking other dogs I always double clip their leash to their harness and collar.
