About: I have 15+ years of hands-on pet care experience, including 10 years working in a professional grooming shop as a bather. That experience made me very comfortable handling dogs of different sizes, breeds, personalities and energy levels. I have also owned and cared for large-breed dogs throughout my life, including Dobermans, Rottweilers and pit bulls, so I am genuinely comfortable with big dogs. I understand that a 90-pound dog who is excited to see you is a very different experience from walking a 15-pound dog! I have experience administering subcutaneous medications to my own pets and am comfortable giving oral medications as directed. I am also happy to follow specific feeding, walking and care routines. About: Hello! My husband and I are relatively new to being on the care taker end of Rover. But better late than never! A little about us: We live in a spacious house with a yard with 2 cats and 1 dog (and no kids). We also work from home so we are able to pay lots of attention to our pets and yours! I, myself, am an animal lover with years of volunteer work experience in shelters and zoos. I have grown up in a household with many types of pets from dogs and cats to turtles and chickens and peacocks! We fall in love with every animal we meet, and would love to host your pet when they need us! Both me and my husband work from home and always spend tons of time with our pets including pets and walks and play time and cuddles! We have a large tard with a 6-foot fence. We have two cats and a dog but we can dedicate an entire floor to your pets and spend time with them if separation is necessary from other animals. In the case that the animals don’t get along, we also tend to put our pets in different rooms and spend time with your pet in the main living area. But our pets are very friendly!

Happy to stay the night at your place, or if your dog is social, have her/him over at mine. I have an Alaskan Klee Kai who is 5 years old, 16 pounds, and well-socialized. I’m currently working part time (middle of the day) and will have lots of time to take care of your fur babies. For home visits, I can typically do 7:30-10am, 3-5pm, 7-11pm, but I make arrangements outside of these times with advanced notice. I have a big yard that my dog enjoys. It is not fenced in but we can use a long leash so dogs can run around, play fetch, and explore.

About: Along with growing up with two dogs and helping to raise a puppy as a teenager, family friends and neighbors have relied on me to take care of their dogs and cats since I was ten. I've worked with all types of dogs, from Shih Tzus to Pit Bull mixes. I'm the one in my family who takes the dogs out on long hikes (or for short walks around the block once they get older), brushes their teeth and fur, gives them baths, and trims their nails. My classes start at 8 am on weekdays, so my general availability is as follows: Monday/Wednesday/Friday: Available after 11:30 am Tuesday: Available after 6 pm Thursday: Heavier on classes, but I may be able to do a quick drop-in in the morning/evening if needed Weekends: Unavailable 8-10 am Saturdays, otherwise available As a lover of all creatures, I take the safety of both pets and wildlife seriously. As such, I will always supervise pets that are outside in yards and keep them on leashes outside fenced-off areas so they are not a danger to others or themselves. If transporting pets in my car, I will keep them safe and secure in a carrier/crate. About: I am a long-time pet parent with 2 cats and a dog. I am new to offering pet-care services, but have used Rover for care of my own pets and had some very good experiences. I hope to offer the same peace of mind to other families. About: I have 15+ years of hands-on pet care experience, including 10 years working in a professional grooming shop as a bather. That experience made me very comfortable handling dogs of different sizes, breeds, personalities and energy levels. I have also owned and cared for large-breed dogs throughout my life, including Dobermans, Rottweilers and pit bulls, so I am genuinely comfortable with big dogs. I understand that a 90-pound dog who is excited to see you is a very different experience from walking a 15-pound dog! I have experience administering subcutaneous medications to my own pets and am comfortable giving oral medications as directed. I am also happy to follow specific feeding, walking and care routines. Most importantly, I treat each pet as an individual. I want to know their routine, quirks, favorite things and what makes them comfortable so I can care for them the way you would. My schedule is flexible, which allows me to accommodate weekday walks and drop-in visits throughout the day, including the popular midday hours. I’m also available for morning and evening visits and can often accommodate weekends with advance notice. I’m happy to work with recurring weekly schedules as well as occasional care when you’re traveling or have a long day away from home. I care for pets in their own home with the same attention and respect I would expect for my own. I carefully follow each pet’s feeding, walking and medication instructions, keep doors and gates secure, and make sure pets are safely settled before I leave. I respect your home and privacy, clean up after pets, and provide updates so you know how they’re doing while in my care.

About: I've been a dog lover my entire life and had one of my own until recently. Having dogs in my lives has brought me immense joy! I will treat and care for your dog as if they were a part of my family. I am very reliable and responsible, and I have transportation available for pick-up and drop-off if needed. I would be delighted to take care of your pet! I work from home most of the times and have a pretty flexible schedule! I usually walk my in the morning and before sunset every day, each around 30 minutes, but could increase the frequency if your dog needed! I have a fenced yard, and there are 2 dog parks near my house, I usually let my dog plays there. The dogs in the park I meet are all super friendly! Besides, I have plenty of toys and treats in the house.

About: I’ve been caring for animals for years, both professionally and personally. I currently work as a veterinary technician, so I’m very comfortable with pets of all ages, personalities, and medical needs. I have experience administering medications, caring for senior pets, working with puppies, and recognizing when something just doesn’t seem right. Before working in veterinary medicine, I also did dog sitting and dog walking throughout college, so pet care has been a part of my life for a long time. I live in my own three-bedroom home with a finished basement, so there is plenty of space to give pets their own area, quiet time, or separation when needed. I have two dogs of my own: a smaller senior dog who generally prefers to keep to himself, and a 6-month-old puppy who is crate trained. I’m able to manage introductions carefully and keep dogs separated when appropriate so everyone can stay comfortable and safe. Because I work in veterinary medicine, I’m very mindful of behavior, stress signals, health changes, and safe handling. I always supervise interactions closely, follow each pet’s normal routine as much as possible, and make sure they have a secure, calm environment while they’re in my care.
