“Emily is absolutely AMAZING!!! I work in the area and don’t know anybody, here. I had an emergency situation come up and needed somebody to look after my 3 dogs for an ambiguous amount of time (I did not know if I was going to be looking at a daycare sitch or a multi-day stay.) I made a reservation and sent a message to Emily after midnight on a Thursday about coordinating for the next morning and she responded immediately!!! She really reeeeeeeally helped me out of a jam, and even came to pick my kids up for me so I could begin to address my situation right away, even though I am staying well out of her way! She is a doll, and her own pups are a hoot! I couldn’t recommend her more! While living and working on the road it is incredibly stressful to address the contingency where you may not be able to attend to your babies, my dogs and my cat are with me 100% of the time and I have often found myself fretting about what to do, should something happen to me. I follow the owners lead if dogs are allowed on furniture, but if so, they are welcome to cuddle on the couch. I prefer that dogs sleep in their own bed, one of my loaner beds or a crate. I will honor the owners feeding schedule as to make the transition easy for everyone. I do have 2 cats in the home who have grown up around dogs their whole life and are generally ambivalent to them. I send daily photo updates and generally treat your baby as my own while in my care.

I currently have one cat I rescued as a kitten three years ago and a dog who loves to play that I rescued 2 years ago from a shelter. I am medically trained for emergencies and can care for special needs and sick dogs. I will treat your pet with the love and kindness as I do my own. They will be in safe conditions as I have a fenced-in yard and live in a beautiful park that is convenient for quick strolls. My home has a spare bedroom/office to which I dedicate to each pet guest that stays with me. Where they can have their bed, crate, toys, and other items to help them feel comfortable.

I love dogs of all breeds, sizes, and personalities, though I have a particular appreciation for larger breeds such as Pit Bulls, Dobermans, and Rottweilers. Over the years, I've spent countless hours learning about canine behavior, training, and communication to better understand their needs and how they experience the world. My beloved Miniature Schnauzer, Bella, was my companion for 13 wonderful years. During the last five years of her life, she lived with diabetes, requiring twice-daily insulin injections, regular veterinary care, and cataract surgery. Caring for her taught me patience, attentiveness, and the importance of providing consistent, compassionate care—especially for dogs with special medical needs. I understand that pets are family. Whether your dog needs a walk, playtime, companionship, or extra care and attention, I'll treat them with the same love, respect, and responsibility that I gave my own. I currently work from home while building my real estate investment business, which gives me a flexible schedule and allows me to be attentive to the needs of the pets in my care. My day typically starts between 6:30 and 7:30 a.m. with meditation and exercise, followed by work from my home office. Because I set my own schedule, I can easily accommodate walks, feeding schedules, playtime, potty breaks, medication needs, and plenty of companionship throughout the day. If your dog is boarding with me, I enjoy incorporating outdoor walks into my daily routine and can provide regular exercise, enrichment, and one-on-one attention. My goal is to make sure your pet feels safe, comfortable, and cared for while you're away. I care for pets according to their owner's preferred schedule and routine whenever possible. I understand that consistency helps pets feel safe, comfortable, and secure, whether they're in my home or their own. I take the time to learn each pet's feeding schedule, exercise needs, medication requirements, favorite activities, and any special instructions. My goal is to provide attentive, loving care while maintaining the routines and boundaries that are important to both the pet and their family.
