“Iryna is fantastic. I could tell immediately that she and her family love animals. Her pup was super sweet when we arrived, so that was a bonus. This was our first time booking with Iryna, which I can find a little stressful. I had nothing to worry about bc she put me at ease immediately. She had great communication throughout the entire stay and kept us updated with plenty of pictures. She noticed a wound on our pup that we weren’t aware of, cleaned and treated it, and let us know right away. We also had a last minute medication request for a separate issue, and she was incredibly accommodating without hesitation. It was clear that she cared for our guy like he was her own. We would absolutely book with Iryna again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a caring, attentive, and reliable sitter. - Diana (and Roy)”

“Rachel and Michael were wonderful! They took care of Missy over the holidays and clearly gave her a lot of love! They send sweet pictures and or videos daily. They were extremely responsive and reliable. They set up Missy for success by scheduling a meet and greet for our pups before the boarding period. They were also super flexible. My flight back to the city was canceled and I last minute needed an extra day of care for Missy and they accommodated this last minute change which was very kind. Overall, I felt relaxed and reassured in my travels knowing Missy was being cared for by Rachel and Michael!”

“Absolutely fantastic. Did everything exactly as my cats needed and handled them with the best care possible. Was able to book with her on relatively short notice, and she was extremely professional. My cats couldn’t have been in better hands. I would absolutely book again.”

“Ebony is so rare. They update and take care of your dog and cat like they were their own. I’m so grateful to have someone get to know my dog’s personality and be patient with them while I was away. “Caitlin was so great! She was flexible and responsive leading up to the visit and sent me lots of pictures of my furry boy during her drop in. I can tell she did more than just refill the food bowl and clean the litter box— she spent some time giving my cat some much-needed attention and making him feel loved while I was gone. What more could I ask for? :)”
“Sarah is a true rockstar, and we feel so lucky we can count on her while we’re traveling. Plus, the boys just love her! I wish I could give her even more stars!”

“Jennifer has been there when I needed her most. As a biologist with unpredictable fieldwork I appreciate it SO SO much!! I love the rover reviews she leaves after every check in and she takes great pictures too”

“Jenifer took such great care of our 2 cats! She was attentive, affectionate, and patient with them, as they can be demanding when it comes to feeding. Our cats are high maintenance and have to be fed 3 times a day at specific times, including an early 6:30 am, and she kindly fed them at their specified times. She also sent frequent updates and pictures, which I really appreciated. She’s also such a sweet person. I highly recommend her!”

“Took care of our babies while we were out of town, played with them and gave such peace of mind that they were okay so we could enjoy our travels.”

“Faith was great with my four cats! Even the one who hides all the time she made sure he had his food. Twice a day feedings and litter maintenance. Will for sure request her again!”

“Carson did a great job of taking care of our 2 kittens while we were out of town for a few days!! About: I’ve cared for and grown up around more animals than I can count. I love showing fur babies the love they deserve and there’s nothing more rewarding than receiving it back in return. I believe animals can truly be medicinal and can better a person’s mood and outlook on life. They are our best friends and we are their lives. Flexible availability; I can provide dog walks, grooming, feeding, daytime & overnight sitting, cuddles, and even just a pop-in. I’m free mornings, day, and night and open to ongoing long-term schedules if things happen to work out that way. I have a big fenced in backyard, but most of my time with pups is spent on hikes or long walks outdoors. I do have a medium sized, super friendly husky, if your pupper feels uncomfortable around other dogs though, my husky baby loves spending time at my sister’s house and would be happy to accompany her while I care for your fur baby. I’m extremely active but can also just hang out and offer an easy-going light day or night with your pet.
“Elizabeth was amazing! My skittish cats warmed up to her right away. She played with them & gave them extra treats. They’re very good motivated, so they’ll love her forever. Next time I’m out of time I’ll definitely call Elizabeth again”

“Emily is absolutely amazing. She is the only person I bring Petey to when I will be out of town and need someone to take care of him or when I need to drop him off for the day! She is really great with all dogs and her animals are super friendly and accepting. She also takes plenty pictures and gives updates via rover and text regularly. She is the only person I trust with my pup!”

“Very happy! Will use Ashley again for my next trip to New Orleans! She updated me with pictures and made me feel more comfortable leaving Charlie for the day! Thank you so much!”

“Michael was awesome with Merlo. Communication was great and he was able to accommodate our changing schedule. I was a little nervous leaving Merlo with a new friend, but Michael was excellent and I highly recommend him. If we're ever back in New Orleans we will certainly visit him again!”

“I felt so comfortable leaving Pip with Cheyenne in her home. I could see he immediately took to her and it was a great fit. She walked and played with him and also provided a calm environment for him while I was away. I am so happy to be able to rely on Cheyenne when I need help with Pip!”

“Evlin took wonderful care of my Bichon, Chance. He was happy to see us at the end of the day, but he was relaxed with Evlin and her dog Juicy. She checked in with photos and texts, which made me feel better about leaving him. She totally deserves her five-star rating, and I recommend her w/o reservation.”

“Oshie treated Miles like family during his visit! We received pictures of him throughout the day and we knew he was in good hands right from the start! Oshie was a lovely and gracious host all around! When we inevitably visit New Orleans again, we will definitely be reaching out again! Thank you so much!”

My goal is for every pet to feel safe, comfortable, and right at home. Your dog’s safety, comfort, and well-being are my top priorities. I care for every dog as an individual by following their normal feeding, potty, exercise, and sleep routines as closely as possible. About: I am now retired and have total availability. For walks or drop ins I need to keep my service area within 5-7 miles. For longer stays I am willing to expand my area upon request. I began my pet care as a child, taking home every stray dog I saw. Nursing sheep, stray cats, bunnies, you name it. I was then a vet tech, rescue foster, and sitter. As my life has changed my love for, and enjoyment of caring for pets has not. I bond well with animals, and have the experience to know when firmness is required. I will always care for your animal as i would my own. ( spoiled ) I have a good availability and experience with all ages of pets. Including training to elderly animals who need special care. I am comfortable administering meds, and dealing with unique or special circumstances. Finally, I am reliable. You can rest assured that your baby will be well cared for. when I house sit I will keep your place clean daily. If you desire addition plant care or whatever, just ask. I am retired. This gives me great availability to care for your pet. I can adjust my schedule to fit your needs. At times I prefer overnights at your place so as to not disturb my husband. I have a fenced yard. At your home or mine we get plenty of potty breaks, walks, and play. I only leave the house to go to the store or appts.
“Roxanne was great at communicating and was very timely. She took very good care of our boys and we will absolutely be using her services in the future. Thank you, Roxanne!”

“It can be hard to find sitters willing to help with challenging dogs, and I have a very sweet pup who, unfortunately, has some separation anxiety that means she can’t be left home alone at this point. Julia agreed to watch her for some daycare while my husband and I attended a family birthday party, and she also was great about setting up a Meet and Greet about a week beforehand so that Sable could be introduced to Julia and her own pups. Julia sent pictures and updates while we were away, and I appreciated her honesty when I asked how Sable did. It seems as though Sable was only mildly embarrassing and didn’t put Julia through too much hassle, so I’m very grateful to have someone trustworthy and kind to leave my pup with! Thank you so much!”

About: I have welcomed dogs into my family for the past 25 years living in New Orleans, and have loved caring for them as they have certainly cared for me too! I work from home most days of the week and am rarely gone for more than a few hours for in-person meetings. I provide lots of walks along the greenway and time in my fenced yard too. I have toys for stimulation such as puzzles and can play hide and seek with toys, treats, and me! I am happy to continue implementing your schedule and use your key words and phrases to maintain training while your pup is with me. I also enjoy taking my dog Conor to City Bark where he plays with other dogs and gets a nice bath. I am happy to bring your dog there too if they are able to go. I work from home and occasionally take meetings out of my house. Those usually are not more than a few hours. Once a week I go into my office from 8-4 but come home at lunch to walk my dog Conor. I have three boys that are in school who live with me every other week. I do a school drop off and pick up every other week for one of them around 7:15 am and again around 3:00 pm. I keep my dog on a predictable schedule of feeding and walks and provide toys for stimulation. I always keep fresh water available both inside and outside so that they are not dehydrated.
“Tayler was amazing. My dog Lacey always get separation anxiety and tends to cry when I leave and is a little lack lister but Tayler was one of the few that was able to get her to eat her dinner. Lacey usually will not eat unless I or my husband feeds her, but Lacey was happy to stay with Tayler. Thanks for taking such great care of our “baby”.”

“Liz was a SUPER sitter for our girls! She had a few other dogs who she was also watching, which made me feel very comfortable - because that indicated others felt she was ALSO a great sitter! We will be re-booking her for tomorrow (Thanksgiving) - and will definitely keep her on our sitter list for when we travel to New Orleans.”

About: Growing up, my nuclear family cared for roughly thirty cats, both indoor and outdoor. Naturally, part of my daily routine was feeding them all before getting on the school bus, keeping the litter boxes and surrounding areas tidy throughout the day, and of course providing AMPLE love to all. I have experience nursing abandoned kittens to health and maturity, as well as acclimating feral cats into the home. I am more than keen when it comes to feline behavior! (My mother used to "joke" that her four children should come together and open a vet clinic.) Today, my husband and I have a well-trained, 3 year old shepherd mix named Poet, whom we adopted at just 8 weeks old, and a 5 year old American bobtail kitty named Millie, who we also rescued. We both work from home and our animals are our absolute lives. Normal days for us include walks around the neighborhood, as well as trips to City Bark. We have a fenced in backyard for potty time, as well as sun bathing. Both as our animal have free reign of our home; they watch TV with us, answer email with us, snooze with us, cook with us, etc.! You can trust that your fur baby would be met with the same love, adoration, and care that we provide to our own. Both my husband and myself work from home and are able to provide near-constant care for your fur babies, whether that pertain to potty breaks or play time! We have a modest fenced in yard, as well as one dog and one cat of our own. Both are friendly with all species! We have ample space (spare bedrooms) to set up up a crate/kennel if desired.
“Bianca was amazing. She was quick to respond and was so excited to see Oscar. She sent us some pictures of Oscar, exploring the house and being himself which made us feel very good. If we’re ever back in New Orleans, we will reach out again.”

“Ms. Rachelle was the he sweetest. She kept me updated on Hershey and I even got a cute art keepsake. I got to meet her fur babies and the Hershey’s other new friends too. Ms. Rachelle is an absolute gem!”

About: Dogs have always held a special place in my heart. I believe they teach us unconditional love, help us stay present, and enrich our lives in countless ways. I love dogs of all breeds, sizes, and personalities, though I have a particular appreciation for larger breeds such as Pit Bulls, Dobermans, and Rottweilers. Over the years, I've spent countless hours learning about canine behavior, training, and communication to better understand their needs and how they experience the world. My beloved Miniature Schnauzer, Bella, was my companion for 13 wonderful years. During the last five years of her life, she lived with diabetes, requiring twice-daily insulin injections, regular veterinary care, and cataract surgery. Caring for her taught me patience, attentiveness, and the importance of providing consistent, compassionate care—especially for dogs with special medical needs. I understand that pets are family. Whether your dog needs a walk, playtime, companionship, or extra care and attention, I'll treat them with the same love, respect, and responsibility that I gave my own. I currently work from home while building my real estate investment business, which gives me a flexible schedule and allows me to be attentive to the needs of the pets in my care. My day typically starts between 6:30 and 7:30 a.m. with meditation and exercise, followed by work from my home office. Because I set my own schedule, I can easily accommodate walks, feeding schedules, playtime, potty breaks, medication needs, and plenty of companionship throughout the day. If your dog is boarding with me, I enjoy incorporating outdoor walks into my daily routine and can provide regular exercise, enrichment, and one-on-one attention. My goal is to make sure your pet feels safe, comfortable, and cared for while you're away. I care for pets according to their owner's preferred schedule and routine whenever possible. I understand that consistency helps pets feel safe, comfortable, and secure, whether they're in my home or their own. I take the time to learn each pet's feeding schedule, exercise needs, medication requirements, favorite activities, and any special instructions. My goal is to provide attentive, loving care while maintaining the routines and boundaries that are important to both the pet and their family.
“2nd time we have booked Ms. Olivia to take care of our pup Benito. She has taken care of him like if he was her own pup. Highly recommend her services to dog-sit. Thanks again Ms. Olivia.”

“Katherine and Ethan were extremely responsive, kind, and flexible when we left our Siberian Husky, Charlie, with them for doggie daycare. Their dogs, Gus and Brady, wore Charlie out, and Charlie is psyched to spend more time with all of them.”

About: My father raised and trained dogs so I have been caring for dogs since childhood. I have been personally caring for my own dogs as well as dogs of family and friends for the past seven years. I am medically trained for emergencies and can care for special needs and sick dogs. I will treat your pet with the love and kindness as I do my own. I can be available day and night, weekends and holidays even on short notice. I am hoping to make this a full-time position and will be available seven days a week 24 hours a day and can provide same-day service. I will follow all rules of the home in which I am sitting. I will never leave pets unattended. They will have my full attention and safety is my number one priority.
“Lindsay is incredible. Our pup loved her as do I. I trust her as does my pup. She was mindful of a meniscus issue that my girl has by allowing her to dictate a much shorter walk, and instead Lindsay stayed with her for the remainder of the scheduled time to love and play with her inside. She thoughtfully filled her water bowl before leaving, and sent me a the most wonderful pictures of their time together. I will be scheduling a weekly standing with her.”

“Bianca was great! She was so sweet and good with Louie. She showed up on time and communicated with me about how Louie’s walk went and sent the best pictures”

“Can't thank Michelle enough for helping out with our golden retriever. Michelle started coming over 2 weeks ago three days a week to walk our girl Phoebe and she has been incredible. Very flexible to our dogs needs, sends detailed updates on how the visit/walk went, and is very responsive to communication. Highly recommend her to anyone and hope to continue her services for a long time. Thanks Michelle!”

“Kat did great with our two furbabies! She took them on a nice long walk, snapped some great pictures, and made sure to communicate early and often. 10/10-will use again!!”

“Very satisfied with Kellie! She does an amazing job with Sam. He is a bit skittish but does so well with Kellie. I will continue to book Kellie weekly.”
“Elizabeth has been very responsive and was great during our meet and greet. She has been very patient with my dogs behaviors and will be using her regularly for walking services.”

About: I've had dogs since I was a child and just have so much love for them! I have pet sit for friends & family for the past several years (dogs & cats). I have also been through obedient training with multiple dogs. I have so much love & good walks to share with your fur babies! I can't wait to meet & spoil your pet!🖤 I'm currently working part time so I have plenty of time to take care of your pup or kitty! I am available for walks or drop in visits in the morning and evening most days, and wide open every Tuesday and Wednesday. I have a wonderful pup of my own to spend time with, so I am no longer accepting new clients for long in house stays. I would be happy to accommodate a shorter weekend getaway! I prefer to care for your pet in your home where they are already feeling safe. This way I am the only new variable in what can sometimes be an unsure time for a pet. I find that pets warm up so much more quickly in the comfort of their own home!
“Darin is a great friend to animals and goes at their speed which is important for one of our girls who is unsure of everything. He is also communicative and reliable. Would absolutely recommend!”

“Stacy and Patrick are awesome! They always leave detailed reviews of our dog’s walk which makes us feel comforted. We also appreciate their availability whenever we need them. We know they can take care of our crazy husky. We highly recommend them!”

About: I’ve had dogs and cats in my life since I was a kid, so caring for animals comes naturally to me. One thing that sets me apart is my experience with senior and younger pets. I keep my dog on a predictable schedule of feeding and walks and provide toys for stimulation. I always keep fresh water available both inside and outside so that they are not dehydrated.
“My two fur babies enjoyed their visit with Ms Michelle, who took excellent care of them. I had peace of mind while we were away from them knowing she was watching them.”

About: Mine was a dog family. My parents showed Chow Chows and Bichon Frisés at dog shows around the country with me in tow as a junior handler grooming, training, and caring for our dogs. In college, rather than wait tables, I worked as a kennel assistant and then as a veterinarian assistant during post-grad, spending weekends caring for medical boarders, administering meds and keeping lonely, isolated dogs company. I’m a deeply attached and passionate rescue advocate and animal-lover. My pets have all been mostly large, lovable mixed-breed dogs and second-chance stories like Betsey. Professionally, I have 20+ years of experience as a copywriter and creative strategist. Before starting Betsey & Julie Walk Dogs, I spent the past year as a Dog Handler at Pawlins Day Care — under the tutelage of all kinds of dogs. I’m a freelance writer and I work from home. I share this home with Betsey, an incredibly sweet five-year-old Labrador Retriever. I’m available and actively involved in your dog’s enrichment and overall experience. I’m active and attentive. Betsey and I are affectionate and accommodating. We love walks, parks, toys, treats, and cuddling. We think your dog will love spending time with us.
“Beth was amazing. She immediately adjusted to all of my dog’s quirks and send lots of pics and videos. Bahula was completely at ease with her. Will definitely be booking with her again.”

“Anna has watched my dogs a few times now. She is always very quick to respond and a great communicator when it comes to organizing drop offs and pick ups. If the dogs could talk, they would confirm they have a good time when staying with Anna!”

“I take my two male cats to Etta’s anytime I go out of town. She is loving and patient with them, and she keeps you updated with pictures! I will definitely keep going with Etta!”

“Chayanne was great with my best friend Phil. He came home happy and healthy and appropriately tired. She was super flexible with my schedule changes and a good communicator. Recommend!”

“Julia is amazing, she had everything ready when we arrived and was an excellent host for our doggie. She kept us up to date on Moo's days and made her feel at home. I highly recommend her. Will be going back to her when we come back.”

“Natalie took great care of our dog Taz and provided lots of updates. I could tell in the pictures that Taz was so happy and it was a relief that he was in good hands. Thank you Natalie, you’re a life saver!”
