About: I have 2 cats who are now 12 years old and have a multitude of health issues, meaning I’m highly experienced with both liquid and pill medications for cats. I adore playing with cats or being a cuddle buddy during nap time. Whatever the cat wants, they get (as most cat owners know).

Bianca left my house clean, all litter changed and swept up. During the visit, our keypad battery started giving a "low battery signal," Bianca let us know, and offered to change it. I provided directions and she was able to figure it out seemslely and change the batteries at the next visit to prevent any distribution to kitty care. She watered our plants, too! They hate being alone and I don't think they had a moment unattended in the 5 days they spent with Lindsey. Her dog Lola sealed the deal for the pugs as they love other dogs and feel like it's a party if other furry beings are around. On the second morning we were to take the dogs to Lindsey they didn't get off the couch. As soon as we asked if they wanted to see Lola, they were immediately at the door- such a good sign! “To say we were satisfied with the care Alyssa gave our little Max would be an understatement. We were camping in New Orleans and had events happening that would take us away from our motorhome for over 9 hours for a few days and did not think it wise to leave our small dog alone for so long so we needed to think of something. So for the first time we turned to the ROVER app. As this would be the first time we left our boy with a stranger we were very concerned but We had a meet and greet ahead of the actual dog sitting and it went so well …. we felt at ease right away with Alyssa and her own dog. Our Max and Alyssa’s Oliver hit it off right away … she is a wonderful person full of love, caring and is extremely pleasant. The second day we went to drop Max off he actually pulled me to her door and sat there waiting for her to open the door and when she did open the door he ran in as if he was home already. About: I grew up raising dogs and cats in my household. Since 2010 I've adopted pets on my own, cats and a dog. I currently have one cat I rescued as a kitten three years ago and a dog who loves to play that I rescued 2 years ago from a shelter. Im a teacher who loves spending time with pets and I enjoy the extra excitement that comes from watching little ones for those who are out of town. I love showering pets with affection and all the care they need to be joyous and safe. I love walks and play time with all my animals. About: I've raised a Chihuahua mix (14 yrs/13 lbs) and a German Shepherd (14 yrs/120 lbs) from when they were puppies, but both of my fur babies have gone to doggie heaven… so I’ve decided to help out my fellow pet parents instead of giving in to kitty and puppy fever :) I've also cared for my family and friend's dogs while they were on vacation (Chihuahua, Maltese, Golden Retriever, Yorkie) and have cat sitting experience from my previous clients. Located in the heart of the CBD but open to other parts of the New Orleans metro area based on availability. I'm currently at home most days and am attending grad school online to get my MBA. I'm job searching and am looking to help in the meantime! I still have pet supplies (feeding bowls, leash, shampoo, etc) at my home and enough space for them to run around inside and outside in a fenced-in yard. Your pet would be staying with me in my room, and I have enough space to set up a bed or crate of varying sizes.
