“Cheryn was amazing! You could immediately tell she was really caring and passionate about dogs. Huey had a great time and we loved the great communication and pictures. Highly recommend Cheryn!”

“Shannon was wonderful! She was very responsive and she kept me constantly updated throughout the week, and I felt confident that Rowan was being completely spoiled through his entire stay. I will definitely be using her services again!”
“I’ve been a regular client of Mike for a while now and just left my dog with him again for 9 nights. Every time I get a photo/video update, I’m always delighted to see how happy my dog is and I can tell he absolutely loves it there. Mike’s place is a 2nd home now and I can travel with absolutely zero worries and paranoias when away from my pet, because I know he’s in paradise.”

“We are so thankful for Jon! He did an INCREDIBLE job watching our pack of 4 poms over our wedding weekend! We have never used Rover before or left our dogs overnight and were pretty nervous. We even got on a call with Jon prior to booking and he was more than willing to answer our millions of questions. He was flexible with drop off and pick up times (we drove into NOLA from STL) and was so patient with my "helicopter parent" husband that wanted to set up their beds himself and was so anxious to leave them. Jon's house is also on a side street that made drop off really easy. We received multiple updates and the cutest photos the whole weekend! Our pack definitely had a great time. They loved the backyard! We have a senior dog with mobility issues that he was very careful with, and another pom with some hearing and vision loss and he was wonderful with both. It was very obvious that Jon loves dogs and took care of our fur babies like they were his own! When we picked the pups up he had everything packed up which was a huge time saver since we were driving back home. He had even ran one of our blankets through the dryer so they would have a warm spot to lay since the weather had gotten cold that morning! It is so difficult to trust someone else with your animals, and we were lucky to find such a caring and thoughtful Rover. Jon, thank you so much for going above and beyond to take care of our poms while we got married! See you next year! (-:”

“Highly recommend Chayanne! She did a fantastic job taking care of our Corgi for a week while we were in Nola being tourists. She updated us with pictures and took excellent care of our baby. We will definitely book again.”

“This was my first time booking on Rover and I’m glad I had such a great experience booking with Aja! She was communicative through the whole process and shared plenty of updates while she had Beethoven! I would highly recommend! Thank you so much :)”

“Great experience! Our dog was so well taken care of, and it was obvious she got lots of love and attention. I really appreciated the updates and pictures while I was away, and even got a sweet report card! I came back to a happy pup, and we’ll definitely be using her again!!”

“Natalie was amazing! We booked with her to board our dog for a weekend while we’re were in town visiting. She sent us plenty of pictures and updates throughout the stay which we really appreciated! She took great care of our dog and we’re so thankful :)”

“If I can calm anyone's angst about leaving their beloved pet with Michael, I hope this review does the trick. You can't ask for a more thoughtful & loving care giver. He has 5 stars from everyone who uses his services & they are well earned. Thank you Michael & I know the 'boys' miss you terribly!”

“Katherine and Ethan were great with Bruno! It was our first time leaving him with people that werent family and he got along great. They have 2 dogs brady and gus that were awesome for companionship and burning his energy. Katherine was also great for updating us throughout the day. Five stars and would definitely recommend!! To”

“I highly recommend Iryna for dog sitting! She took good care of my dog for 5 nights and kept me updated me the whole time. I will definitely book with her again.”

“Dalia always does an excellent job! She's reliable and sends photos and updates every day. My dog Minnie is always happy when I drop her off and pick her up. Dalia is very friendly and kind and I highly recommend her as a pet-sitter.”

“Serena was incredible. She was very responsive, flexible to some of my last minute schedule changes, and really sweet with my dogs. I have zero complaints and would absolutely recommend her!”

“Miss Regina is wonderful! She is the sweetest. Miss Regina sent us lots of pictures which we personally LOVED. Barbie almost always has to warm up to everyone. She is not normally trusting right off the bat. BUT not this time! Barbie sniffed her house up and down which made us know she was very comfortable. She instantly took treats from Miss Regina and let me tell you she is not easily won over with treats. She’s a rescue and we don’t know her background exactly, but has some trust issues at times. There was something special about Miss Regina and her home because Barbie will almost always let us know when she’s ready to go and lead us right to the door but on our meet and greet she was so relaxed. Barbie was always smiling in her pictures and from the day we did our meet and greet in Miss Regina’s home she made herself comfortable and slept with her on day 1 when she doesn’t normally do this. We have been told by other sitters that she’s slept in their living room before gradually warming up to the bedroom room. So this tells me that Miss Regina is a WINNER! We always use her when we can and recommend her to others. THANK YOU for loving on our girl.”

“Pauline did a great job taking care of Tupelo. She is very thoughtful about caring for Tupelo and asked a bunch of questions to understand the pup’s needs and routines. Pauline provided a couple of pictures and updates everyday, and was very accommodating when our flight was delayed and we were a few hours late to pick her up. I would definitely recommend Pauline!”

“Natasha was super easy to work with for drop off and pickup. She sent pictures during Charlie's stay and I could tell he had a good time at her place! When I board him at a kennel he comes home and sleeps for at least a day because he doesn't rest or sleep at the kennel but he came home from Natasha's his usual happy self so I know she took good care of him. I'd definitely use Natasha again or recommend her to a friend.”

“Morgan was great! She was quick and easy to communicate with and followed all our instructions for keeping our cat healthy and happy while we were out of town. She even spent a little extra time with him which was nice. Would recommend and will be booking with her again!”

“Faith was great with my four cats! Even the one who hides all the time she made sure he had his food. Twice a day feedings and litter maintenance. Will for sure request her again!”

“She was great!! My cat had so much fun with her. I’m new to this app and having someone house sit but i had no worry with her. She went above and beyond and i will definitely use her again”

We were staying in NOLA for a few days and wanted to find someone we could trust to take care of Bruno while visiting the city. Thanks Michael for being so caring with Bruno!”

“She was great! My dog needed a sitter for the day and she had no problems at all Cheyanne sent update pictures, had friends to play with, and was super happy way dropping off and picking up! Will definitely be returning!”

“Katherine and Ethan were extremely responsive, kind, and flexible when we left our Siberian Husky, Charlie, with them for doggie daycare. Their dogs, Gus and Brady, wore Charlie out, and Charlie is psyched to spend more time with all of them.”

About: I LOVE all animals like they’re my babies💜. I have a safe fenced small back yard. It’s a passion of mine to be around your pets. As the the oldest of 5 much younger siblings and a former professional nanny, I am a natural caregiver! Now, I am an independent hairstylist that works for myself, and as an animal lover, I have naturally become many of my clients trusted go-to pet sitter, especially for in house vacation pet sitting. I am highly trained as a former animal foster (including the bottle babies that require so much attention and responsibility) and as a professional care giver. I also grew up with non-traditional critters including, but not limited to, hedgehogs, salamanders, iguanas, guinea pigs, gerbils, etc. so I’m cool with whatever you throw at me and very responsible! I follow YOUR rules and keep your babies safe and loved. I work for myself part time as a hairstylist. I make my own hours so it is very easy to not schedule on the days I am needed or to schedule large breaks in between. As a former nanny and elder millennial (lol) I am very responsible first! I always double check leashes, harnesses, doors, etc so you can leave your home feeling great with your guys in my hands. At my clients home, I very much like to follow their rules and instructions to the detail. I keep a photo and/or list of all instructions on my phone and a physical copy in my car. At my own home, I like to listen to what my clients feel comfortable with and follow that as discussed with them. I do like their pets to feel like I’m their loving grandma- they always get extra love and long walks when I come to see them!
“We are so grateful we found Pauline! We were traveling through the New Orleans Area for Jazz fest and needed some day care for our dog Charlie. We’ve never used Rover before and were super apprehensive, but Pauline offered a meet and greet beforehand which made us feel so much better. Charlie loved staying with Pauline. She did such a great job taking care of him, he can’t wait to go back! Thank you Pauline for your thoughtfulness and dedication to our little guy, you made our day so much more enjoyable knowing he was safe with you!”

“Reached out to Nicole this morning to see if she would be able to watch my fur baby for the day. Nicole promptly responded that she could. I appreciate her so much and the care that she gives my pup. The updates throughout the day that she provides makes me feel so good about my pup being in her care. My pup is worn out by the time she gets home, so I know that she enjoys her time with Nicole.”

About: I’ve had dogs my whole life and they’ve always been my favorite kind of company. I’m patient and keep things calm and low-key. I usually watch just one dog at a time, so you can rest assured that I will treat your dog as if they were my own. Since I work remotely, your dog won’t be left alone much and will get attention throughout the day. I make sure to follow whatever routine helps your dog feel most comfortable. Happy to send you photos and updates throughout the day as well. I’m flexible with pickup and drop off times. I will be with your pup all day, and they’ll get plenty of attention throughout the day. I’m happy to adapt to your pet’s routine. If they’re a high energy dog, they’ll get long walks. If they’re a senior or low energy, I’ll take them on shorter walks or just let them sniff in the yard.
“It can be hard to find sitters willing to help with challenging dogs, and I have a very sweet pup who, unfortunately, has some separation anxiety that means she can’t be left home alone at this point. Julia agreed to watch her for some daycare while my husband and I attended a family birthday party, and she also was great about setting up a Meet and Greet about a week beforehand so that Sable could be introduced to Julia and her own pups. Julia sent pictures and updates while we were away, and I appreciated her honesty when I asked how Sable did. It seems as though Sable was only mildly embarrassing and didn’t put Julia through too much hassle, so I’m very grateful to have someone trustworthy and kind to leave my pup with! Thank you so much!”

“Olivia has watched my young, energetic heeler puppy several times and is great! He’s had some joint issues and I really appreciated her keeping a close eye on him and being very communicative about how he’s doing. He’s always excited to see her and seems very happy being there. She has a nice outdoor area for dogs to play and seems genuinely excited to interact with them. I’d definitely recommend her for anyone needing someone to watch their pup.”

About: My family has had at least one dog in our house since I was born. Everybody in my family has dogs. I have a few family members that rely on me to help them with their dogs when they need it. Everyone in my family treats their pets like they are humans and I do just the same! I am currently in between jobs so I’m available pretty much whenever. I do have my own dog at home so I prefer to not stay somewhere for a long, extended period of time. I am pretty flexible with that though so just ask me and I’ll let you know if it’s doable! I have a fenced in yard. I have a 14 year old rescue that just mainly stays to herself. There is a 1 year old Shih Tzu/Yorkie mix now living here as well, under the care of someone else that’s not me, however she is very rambunctious with other dogs. I do not mind walking them around the neighborhood. In my family, we treat our dogs like they are humans and they are like our children!
“Elizabeth was a fantastic babysitter our big golden retriever pup while we were out of town. She was in constant contact with us, sent plenty of pictures and updates about their romps, meal breaks, water breaks etc. And she kept the house spotless. I will most definitely use her services again. Thanks Elizabeth!”

About: Hi! I’ve spent the last 11 years as a Paramedic and, while I love helping people…I love helping animals too! I’m a lifelong animal lover with a deep passion for caring for pets of all kinds. Ever since I was a child, animals have been a central part of my life. My family often took in dogs and cats in need, and I even bottle-fed orphaned puppies and kittens many times, helping them grow strong and healthy. Those early experiences shaped my calm, patient, and nurturing approach to animal care. Being a Paramedic has taught me how to remain calm under pressure. Also, that no one person is the same and will respond the same. Every person is unique. I believe animals are the exact same way! I believe every pet deserves to feel safe, loved, and understood—especially while their family is away. Whether your pet(s) are energetic and playful, shy and reserved, or somewhere in between, I take the time to understand their unique personality and adjust my care to meet their needs. From walks and playtime to quiet companionship and cuddles, I’m here to make sure they feel comfortable and cared for. I’m dependable, attentive, and highly communicative. I understand how important it is to trust someone with a beloved family member, so I always prioritize reliability, punctuality, and clear updates. I’m happy to send photos/videos, and messages so you can feel confident and at ease while you’re away. We can even FaceTime! Although I’m currently unable to have pets of my own where I live, that has only deepened my appreciation for every opportunity I get to spend time with animals. Caring for pets is something I truly love, and I treat every one as if they were my own. I would be honored to care for your pet and provide the same love, attention, and respect I would want for my own. 🐶😽 What I Offer: - Dog & cat walking (structured or relaxed walks based on your pet’s needs) - Drop-in visits for feeding, playtime, and companionship - Pet sitting with attentive, in-home care - Care for dogs & cats of all temperaments 💛 My Care Style: - Patient and gentle approach for all personalities - Focus on safety, comfort, and routine - Calm presence for anxious or shy pets - Active engagement for energetic pets - Always respectful of your home and instructions 📸 Communication Promise You’ll always receive: - Regular photo updates - Clear check-ins after visits - Fast responses to messages - Honest communication about your pet’s well-being 🌟 Why Pet Parents Choose Me: I don’t just “watch” pets—I genuinely care for them. My goal is to make your time away stress-free by ensuring your pet feels safe, loved, and well cared for at all times. That way, you can feel stress-free too! I would love the opportunity to meet you and your pet(s) and become someone you can trust whenever you need reliable, loving care! **IMPORTANT** I provide services for these cities at this time: Marrero, Harvey, Gretna, Westwego, Bridge City, Avondale, Algiers, Belle Chasse, Harahan, River Ridge, Metairie, Kenner, Jefferson, & New Orleans (except for zip codes 70126, 70127, 70128, 70129). I provide pet care full time, which allows me to offer a flexible schedule and accommodate a variety of booking needs. I’m available on weekdays, weekends, and holidays, and I’m happy to work with your schedule whenever possible—including last-minute bookings when my availability allows. At this time, I’m unable to offer boarding in my home. However, I’m happy to provide house sitting in your home, where your pet(s) can remain comfortable in their familiar environment and routine. I understand that many pets feel most secure in their own space, and I’m committed to providing attentive, reliable care while also treating your home with the utmost respect. My goal is to keep your pet(s) happy, comfortable, and well cared for until you return. Your pets safety, comfort, and well-being are always my highest priorities. I understand that inviting someone into your home and trusting them with your beloved pet is a big decision, and I take that responsibility seriously. I will carefully follow your pets normal routine, including feeding schedules, fresh water, litter box maintenance, proper poop scoop and disposal, playtime, medication (if needed), and any special care instructions you provide. I know that pets thrive on consistency, so I do my best to keep their daily routine as normal and stress-free as possible while you’re away. I also treat every client’s home with the same care and respect that I would my own. I’ll keep your home clean, secure, and well cared for during my stay, while providing your pet(s) with companionship, affection, and plenty of attention based on their individual personality and comfort level. My goal is for you to enjoy your time away with confidence, knowing your pet(s) are safe, loved, and receiving dependable, compassionate care every single day & with every visit.
About: I’ve had plenty of experiences with both dogs and cats over the years. From feeding medications, to daily walking, to taking care of my own dog, I’ve always had a genuine heart for animals. I’m currently flexible, I am an ultrasound student at the university, looking for part-time side gigs for furry ones! I can usually make any time work with a 1-2 day notice. I treat every animal like they’re my own. Anything I can do to make your furry friend more comfortable, I can do. Meeting them beforehand is helpful to gain trust

About: I have volunteered for Zeus's Rescues walking dogs for three years. I previously owned two shetland sheepdogs for several years! There is nothing, absolutely nothing, in this world that is better than spoiling a dog or having extended playtime with a dog or pet. I am always reachable, overly communicative, and reliable in an emergency. My schedule is very open right now and I expect to be working part time soon. I look forward to communicating with you and your pet about your schedule and your needs. I can comfortably handle any breed or any size pet! I am offering dog walking, drop in visits for your pet, and house sitting. I am comfortable with and proficient at: measuring and feeding the proper amount of food, making sure your pets stay hydrated, administering the right amount of medication, taking care of your home while you're away, (I'm a homeowner myself,) playing with your pet, tiring out your pet, reducing your pet's stress, giving love and affection to your pet, and taking your pet to the vet in the event of an emergency.
“Megan, is a lifesaver. I was in texas for work and needed a last minute dog walker. She and my fur baby jade connected very well. Megan is on time to walk jade, she is respectful, and I will be scheduling her when I need someone to look after jade. Big Thanks for your help Megan, again life save.”

About: I grew up around animals and used to volunteer at my local Veterinary Clinic. I have a lot of experience walking dogs, making meals, bathing pets, and absolutely love spending time with animals of any kind. I used to also house sit for my neighbors and watch their cats, dogs, and guinea pigs when they were out of time. I am a college student at UCSB double majoring in Film and Psychology. I have plenty of time during the day or at night to spend time with your pets and get to know them! I have a big open living room and can provide a crate in my home. I am also comfortable adapting to any routines or methods in your home that your pet is familiar with.

About: I have been around all kinds of animals my whole life. Aside from raising and training my own dogs, I helped raise and train service dogs for over three years. These dogs have gone onto incredible careers helping others all over the country! I would love to help you and your furry friend :) I am a recent Tulane graduate! Currently working while I apply to PhD programs. Very flexible with reliable transportation around New Orleans. Located in Irish channel area. I have spent over 10 years caring for animals. In addition to my experience training service dogs, my mother has her own dog walking business which I assist with whenever I am home.
About: My family rescued our first dog, April from the local dive bar when I was six years old. According to the vet, April was just two weeks. She had been separated from her mother at birth and hadn’t even opened her eyes yet. My parents worried she'd be too much trouble. I begged to keep her and promised I'd take care of her. April became my sister, my best friend, and my greatest teacher. I fed April from a bottle, taught her how to walk up the stairs, and took her to puppy training classes. April taught me the practice of presence, and the value of unconditional love. Our time spent together makes up some of my most cherished childhood memories. At the age of 13, pet-sitting became my first job. I loved it so much, I didn’t even understand how it could be considered a job. I took care of the animals, and the animals took care of me. In my decade+ of pet-sitting, I’ve worked with a range of breeds, ages, and temperaments. Walking 100lb. pitbulls with fear aggression. Administering medication to seniors. Feeding finicky rescued stray cats. I even fostered and re-homed an abandoned puppy that found me on the beaches of Costa Rica. I can confidently claim that I’ve never once had an animal “reject” me as their caretaker, and I think that says a lot. In the last 6 years, I’ve been living and traveling as a digital nomad. My lifestyle doesn’t currently allow for a pet of my own, so pet-sitting is a blessing that allows me the opportunity to care for pets as if they were my own. I work part-time as a meditation & yoga teacher, and part-time remote as an event organizer. This lifestyle allows me to be very flexible in taking on pet-sitting and house-sitting opportunities. I can build most of my work day around your pets schedule (and I'm more than happy to do so!) I offer long-term and short-term visits and overnight stays to take care of your pets in their own home. I've found that, for most pets, being in the security and routine of their own environment is the best way for them to cope with their owners temporary absence. I make sure to upkeep your pet's sense of "normalcy" to the best of my ability by feeding and walking them at regular intervals, being an active participant in play time (when desired), giving them snuggles (when desired), and just keeping them company! I make sure to upkeep YOUR sense of "normalcy" by respecting your space, keeping it as clean and organized as when I arrive (if not even more so), and following any & all house rules. In addition to overnights, I LOVE to take on daily walks and wellness checks when you're at work or just too busy to do it all on your own!

“Shannon was wonderful! She was very responsive and she kept me constantly updated throughout the week, and I felt confident that Rowan was being completely spoiled through his entire stay. I will definitely be using her services again!”

“Desirae was great, going above and beyond, treating Jazz' chronic ear issues better than we do ourselves! Jazz seemed happy (via the photos and videos) and took to her right-away. He was in excellent hands.”

“Ashley was fantastic with my dog, Neon. She made sure he was well integrated with the other dogs and gave him plenty of individual attention, including lots of games of fetch—one of his favorite things. She also kept a close eye on him to make sure he didn’t get overheated during the New Orleans summer heat. I loved that she had a kiddie pool in the backyard so the dogs could cool off while playing. Ashley was easy to coordinate with, communicative, and made the whole experience stress-free. It was clear Neon had a wonderful vacation while I was on mine. I’d absolutely book with Ashley again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a caring and attentive dog sitter!”

“If I could give more than 5 stars I would! Ms. Etta is THE BEST! She always takes such great care of my boy and always going above and beyond to make sure he’s taken care of, including keeping Bronx in an emergency or if something comes up. She’s Amazing with him and just a beautiful soul all around.”

“Our Lab Bella had a wonderful stay with Beth and had no problems adjusting while we were on vacation. We rarely leave our Bella but now we feel so much better knowing that when we do leave her she will be in great hands. We will be using Beth again for future stays.”

“Roxanne and her husband are a gem! We’ve left our dog with them twice now when we’ve left town. Roxanne is very responsive and even sent pictures of our fur baby quite often throughout the week. Who doesn’t love that? ☺️ I’m so thankful to have found a reliable sitter just down the road from us that we trust! I highly recommend Roxanne and her husband.”

About: I have welcomed dogs into my family for the past 25 years living in New Orleans, and have loved caring for them as they have certainly cared for me too! I work from home most days of the week and am rarely gone for more than a few hours for in-person meetings. I provide lots of walks along the greenway and time in my fenced yard too. I have toys for stimulation such as puzzles and can play hide and seek with toys, treats, and me! I am happy to continue implementing your schedule and use your key words and phrases to maintain training while your pup is with me. I also enjoy taking my dog Conor to City Bark where he plays with other dogs and gets a nice bath. I am happy to bring your dog there too if they are able to go. I work from home and occasionally take meetings out of my house. Those usually are not more than a few hours. Once a week I go into my office from 8-4 but come home at lunch to walk my dog Conor. I have three boys that are in school who live with me every other week. I do a school drop off and pick up every other week for one of them around 7:15 am and again around 3:00 pm. I keep my dog on a predictable schedule of feeding and walks and provide toys for stimulation. I always keep fresh water available both inside and outside so that they are not dehydrated.
