As a student at Loyola University New Orleans, I structure my daily routine around pet care visits, walks, and house sitting. My flexible schedule allows me to dedicate specific times throughout the morning, midday, afternoon, and evening for drop-ins and walks. For house sitting, I base myself directly at your home to ensure consistent supervision, evening companionship, and adherence to your pet’s exact routine. When caring for pets in a client's home, my top priority is maintaining their normal environment and daily habits to keep them relaxed and stress-free. I strictly follow all owner instructions, including meal portioning, fresh water refills, walking routes, and medication schedules. I keep living areas clean, secure the home upon entry and exit, and send clear photo and text updates during every visit so you always have full peace of mind.
About: My family has had at least one dog in our house since I was born. Everybody in my family has dogs. I have a few family members that rely on me to help them with their dogs when they need it. Everyone in my family treats their pets like they are humans and I do just the same! I am currently in between jobs so I’m available pretty much whenever. I do have my own dog at home so I prefer to not stay somewhere for a long, extended period of time. I am pretty flexible with that though so just ask me and I’ll let you know if it’s doable! I have a fenced in yard. I have a 14 year old rescue that just mainly stays to herself. There is a 1 year old Shih Tzu/Yorkie mix now living here as well, under the care of someone else that’s not me, however she is very rambunctious with other dogs. I do not mind walking them around the neighborhood. In my family, we treat our dogs like they are humans and they are like our children!

About: I’ve been taking care of animals for most of my life. I love high energy animals and taking care of them. I grew up with a dog and cat I still have and care for and more recently I have been a volunteer at the Humane Society, I even ended up starting my own club of volunteers in high school. This role has equipped me with all sorts of animal care skills such as cleaning after them, bathing them, feeding them and administering medication, and making sure to provide lots of love and attention. I’ve always said that I’m not a dog or cat person when asked, but rather an animal person. I love animals and caring after them. About: I have had pets my whole life. Also, I prefer dogs but I have a couple years of experience helping out with my sister’s cats. I currently work remotely. So, I can be wherever you need me on any given day or time. I don’t normally work on weekends. I live with my girlfriend and her Boston Terrier ‘Haley’. This window lets me give each pet full, unrushed attention for feeding, litter, play, and cuddles. If you need a specific time within that window, just ask! About: My family rescued our first dog, April from the local dive bar when I was six years old. According to the vet, April was just two weeks. She had been separated from her mother at birth and hadn’t even opened her eyes yet. My parents worried she'd be too much trouble. I begged to keep her and promised I'd take care of her. April became my sister, my best friend, and my greatest teacher. I fed April from a bottle, taught her how to walk up the stairs, and took her to puppy training classes. April taught me the practice of presence, and the value of unconditional love. Our time spent together makes up some of my most cherished childhood memories. At the age of 13, pet-sitting became my first job. I loved it so much, I didn’t even understand how it could be considered a job. I took care of the animals, and the animals took care of me. In my decade+ of pet-sitting, I’ve worked with a range of breeds, ages, and temperaments. Walking 100lb. pitbulls with fear aggression. Administering medication to seniors. Feeding finicky rescued stray cats. I even fostered and re-homed an abandoned puppy that found me on the beaches of Costa Rica. I can confidently claim that I’ve never once had an animal “reject” me as their caretaker, and I think that says a lot. In the last 6 years, I’ve been living and traveling as a digital nomad. My lifestyle doesn’t currently allow for a pet of my own, so pet-sitting is a blessing that allows me the opportunity to care for pets as if they were my own.
