“We are so thankful for Jon! He did an INCREDIBLE job watching our pack of 4 poms over our wedding weekend! We have never used Rover before or left our dogs overnight and were pretty nervous. We even got on a call with Jon prior to booking and he was more than willing to answer our millions of questions. He was flexible with drop off and pick up times (we drove into NOLA from STL) and was so patient with my "helicopter parent" husband that wanted to set up their beds himself and was so anxious to leave them. Jon's house is also on a side street that made drop off really easy. We received multiple updates and the cutest photos the whole weekend! Our pack definitely had a great time. They loved the backyard! We have a senior dog with mobility issues that he was very careful with, and another pom with some hearing and vision loss and he was wonderful with both. It was very obvious that Jon loves dogs and took care of our fur babies like they were his own! When we picked the pups up he had everything packed up which was a huge time saver since we were driving back home. He had even ran one of our blankets through the dryer so they would have a warm spot to lay since the weather had gotten cold that morning! It is so difficult to trust someone else with your animals, and we were lucky to find such a caring and thoughtful Rover. My friend couldn't have a dog at his apartment but I wanted my pup to come on the trip bc I wanted to have her join me in the Quarter while I walked around. Michael met me several times to let me get my pup and drop her back off with him a few hours later. She seemed so comfortable with him and he was very friendly. The only improvement I could say would be that an occasional picture of your pup would help put nervous fur parents at ease. I would absolutely recommend Michael to watch your pup!”

She noticed a wound on our pup that we weren’t aware of, cleaned and treated it, and let us know right away. “ I'm so glad that Jeaux and I had the opportunity to book with Ms. Elena. She also has a Toy Chihuahua named Paco and they became like "three peas in a pod!” My drop-off day was very hectic and behind schedule due to me preparing to go out of town, but Ms.Elena was pleasant and patient with me. When we arrived to her home, we were welcomed into a beautiful, clean space with Southern Hospitality galore! During the stay she emailed me updates along with pics and videos of their playtime. Once I arrived home she offered to meet me at a convenient location to drop-off my baby, that she now calls “her baby”, since we lived a bit of a distance from one another. Sooo sweet...but that's not the best part. When I received Jeaux he had been bathed, his bed and towel washed and she even sent him home with his favorite toy from the visit! If you want someone to treat your dog like their own, this is the place. My experience with Ms. Elena was pleasant from start to finish and I would highly recommend her services. I gave her a reasonable list of to-dos to help care for my cat for when i’m away and i’m very type A so I thought i’d feel the need to constantly msg and check up. I was gone for 2.5 weeks and across the world on a 12-14 hour time difference, so I often woke up to her updates without having to msg her while she was there bc I was sleeping. There is a 1 year old Shih Tzu/Yorkie mix now living here as well, under the care of someone else that’s not me, however she is very rambunctious with other dogs. Whether your baby needs early morning or evening walks, scheduled feedings, medication at specific times, regular check-ins, playtime, or simply someone around to keep them company, I can adjust my schedule around their needs. I’m also available for overnight and extended stays in your home, which allows your pets to remain comfortable in their own environment and maintain the routine they’re already used to. Since my schedule has flexibility, I’m happy to spend quality time with your babies rather than rushing in and out. 🐾❤️ When caring for pets in my home, my goal is to keep their routine as normal and comfortable as possible while you’re away. I’ll follow your instructions closely regarding feeding, medications, walks, exercise, litter care, playtime, bedtime routines, and all of those little details that make your baby feel safe and at home. We spend most of the day together, so they are not alone for long periods of time if I have to run off to check on another baby. I’m happy to stay overnight and spend quality time with your pets rather than simply popping in and out if you prefer. I’ll give them the level of attention and affection THEY are comfortable with, whether that means lots of cuddles and companionship, plenty of activity, or giving a shy kitty their space until they decide I’ve earned their approval. 😂 I’ll also treat your home with the same care and respect I would want someone to give mine. I’ll keep things tidy, clean as needed, and secure, and send you regular pictures and updates. About: I’ve had dogs and cats in my life since I was a kid, so caring for animals comes naturally to me. One thing that sets me apart is my experience with senior and younger pets. I cared for my own dog in her later years when she developed back leg problems. I helped her move around the house, made sure she was comfortable, and gave her lots of love and patience every day. I additionally took care of my other dog in her early months waking up multiple times nightly to calm her down. About: I have had dogs all my life and have loved all of them with my whole heart. I have taken care of both my dogs from puppies until they have gone into their senior years. I also have experience during seizures, as one of my dogs has had them frequently. Also, experienced with care after procedures as my dog has had mass cell tumors removed a number of times. I am currently in law school so on Tuesdays and Thursdays I have one class from 2-3:14 and am off Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. On Saturday’s, I have work from 9:30-12:30. My dog gets walked a number of times a day. She runs around and exercise at various times. I would treat all dogs as I would my own.

“We are so thankful for Jon! He did an INCREDIBLE job watching our pack of 4 poms over our wedding weekend! We have never used Rover before or left our dogs overnight and were pretty nervous. We even got on a call with Jon prior to booking and he was more than willing to answer our millions of questions. He was flexible with drop off and pick up times (we drove into NOLA from STL) and was so patient with my "helicopter parent" husband that wanted to set up their beds himself and was so anxious to leave them. Jon's house is also on a side street that made drop off really easy. We received multiple updates and the cutest photos the whole weekend! Our pack definitely had a great time. They loved the backyard! We have a senior dog with mobility issues that he was very careful with, and another pom with some hearing and vision loss and he was wonderful with both. It was very obvious that Jon loves dogs and took care of our fur babies like they were his own! When we picked the pups up he had everything packed up which was a huge time saver since we were driving back home. He had even ran one of our blankets through the dryer so they would have a warm spot to lay since the weather had gotten cold that morning! It is so difficult to trust someone else with your animals, and we were lucky to find such a caring and thoughtful Rover. About: I have welcomed dogs into my family for the past 25 years living in New Orleans, and have loved caring for them as they have certainly cared for me too! I work from home most days of the week and am rarely gone for more than a few hours for in-person meetings. I provide lots of walks along the greenway and time in my fenced yard too. I have toys for stimulation such as puzzles and can play hide and seek with toys, treats, and me! I am happy to continue implementing your schedule and use your key words and phrases to maintain training while your pup is with me. I also enjoy taking my dog Conor to City Bark where he plays with other dogs and gets a nice bath. I am happy to bring your dog there too if they are able to go. I work from home and occasionally take meetings out of my house. Those usually are not more than a few hours. Once a week I go into my office from 8-4 but come home at lunch to walk my dog Conor. I have three boys that are in school who live with me every other week. I do a school drop off and pick up every other week for one of them around 7:15 am and again around 3:00 pm. I keep my dog on a predictable schedule of feeding and walks and provide toys for stimulation. I always keep fresh water available both inside and outside so that they are not dehydrated.

I was happy to have the meet and greet, since I had cautioned her that our 86 pound puppy was very, very, energetic and loved to jump on people. After meting Hank, she accepted the challenge.
