Activities range from watching the birds together, to going on walks, to slow blinking at each other if they prefer to keep their distance. Julia agreed to watch her for some daycare while my husband and I attended a family birthday party, and she also was great about setting up a Meet and Greet about a week beforehand so that Sable could be introduced to Julia and her own pups. Julia sent pictures and updates while we were away, and I appreciated her honesty when I asked how Sable did. I worked as a vet tech assistant and kennel technician at a Rio Del Mar Pet Hospital in Aptos, CA for 2 years. I was a stable care taker, at Little Paddocks Farm in Yorktown, VA for 7 years. I helped train dogs and horses, we also had pigs and cats that I cared for. I absolutely love plants too, so watering and maintenance is something I enjoy. I will happily take care of gardens and bird feeding as needed. My schedule is flexible, I base my schedule around pet and house sitting. I’m available for single day visits, as well as weekly and monthly agreements. I care deeply for animals, and truly enjoy comforting pets while the owners are away. She had another dog there during the meet n great, so we sat outside on her front porch, as to not intermingle the dogs. Then she took that dog out on a mini walk while Miley and I walked thru her beautiful and clean home. The fact that she was so meticulous following the wishes of the other dogs owner, made me know she was going to do same for me. Miley had some special needs during her visit (some medicine and specific food to curtail an upset stomach) and Regina didn’t mind at all. It was a little cold snap, so I brought Miley with a sweater. When I picked her up the next day, Regina had even sewn shut a hole that had been in that sweater, I was so surprised and so happy. She is so sweet and we will definitely be returning!”
