“Kenya took care of our Milo for 9 days while we were out of the country. And she was so awesome with him. She often sent us updates and pictures in regards to Milo while we were so far away. I really appreciated that so much! We will certainly book Kenya again! I wish I could give her more than 5-stars.”

I am currently working full-time Monday through Friday, but I’m available Friday evening through Sunday for boarding. I’m also available for pop ins and daily walks in the morning from 6am to 7:30am and evenings from 6pm to 7:30pm I have a nice big yard that your dogs can be leash walked in along with one big and one small dog available to keep your babies company. “Hannah was great and our pup had so much fun! She was very responsive and kept us updated on how he was doing. I loved that she sent us pictures and videos too. We will definitely be using her again!!”

“By far the best pet sitter I have ever had! Would recommend to any and everyone. Beetlejuice didn’t want to leave. Wonderful family and pups got along with him so well!”

“Shante was amazing!! I had to book her last minute due to flight issues with my trip and she was willing to not only accommodate to my 4:30 AM drop off time, but also sent me pictures and videos the same day to give me some peace of mind during my trip. She fully adhered to the feeding schedule I gave and was very communicative about everything! My pup came back to me with no issues and a happy girl! Thanks so much Shante!! Book with her”

“Literally amazing! So kind and amazing to my doggo! She sent me daily updates from pictures to videos which I just loved! This was my first time leaving my baby with someone & Im so thankful/blessed to have met her! I cannot wait to go on another trip & book her! ?❤️”

“Savannah and Kadyn took awesome care of our dog, Rosie. They sent us multiple pictures and videos to keep us updated on how Rosie was doing and you could just see how much love and attention she was getting during her stay with them. Not only that, but they were so incredibly accommodating to us when the snow storm hit and our travel plans were disrupted. They even offered to have our dog stay the night before when we thought we may have had to leave earlier than expected. For pickup, they accommodated us once again, so we could pick up our dog late and then they were available when our time changed. They communicated with us so well the whole time and we are happy to have found a great dog sitter in Lafayette! We will definitely be using them again!”

“Alayja was an amazing sitter. Even with our dog being nervous for his first visit she made sure he was comfortable and took care of him as if her own. She sent us pictures and videos throughout the stay and even gave him a bath before returning.”

“She was amazing! She sent me pictures of her and my fur baby and my Diamond started getting attached to her! She kept me updated the entire 4 days and I will definitely be returning if I need care again. I was nervous because it was my JRT's 1st time boarding but she made it super fun and relaxing for her! Thank you so much”

“Julie was really great! She sent us several pictures and updates throughout the weekend. Our dogs seemed right at home with her and like they had a great time while we were gone. Would highly recommend!”

About: As a pet owner myself, I have experience with how to keep feeding routines, administer meds, walks, playtime, potty breaks, grooming and recognizing when something isn’t quite right. I’ll also provide regular updates and photos, so you can have peace of mind knowing your pet is happy and well cared for. I’m currently working remotely and part time. This leaves me plenty of time to care for pets on weekdays and weekends, throughout the day. Early mornings and late evenings are no problem. We have a private fenced in yard for those that need ample activity. Pets are cared for in the home but also have their own room for when they need a quiet corner.
“Shayna took Zoey as a last-minute request and did a great job. She integrated Zoey with her family and two young kids, so that was very much appreciated as felt more like being part of a family experience than in a kennel. She sent photos and communicated on a regular basis which was appreciated as well.”

“She was wonderful! This was my first time using the app and first time leaving my puppy with someone other than family. She answered all my questions and kept me updated every day. I will definitely use her again!”

“We have been so happy with Tracy and her level of care for our toy poodle. Tracy and her kids treated our dog like she was family. I know our dog felt right at home while we were gone. I received multiple updates and pictures while we were away. We’ve booked with her twice now and will continue to use her for the future.”

“David & Lauren were great! The house sat for 5 nights and took great care of my two kitties. They were very responsive, sent photos/ videos, and even washed the bedding before they left! The next time I need a sitter they will be my first choice, I would recommend them to anyone.”

“Ms. Jamryiah was very kind and patient with both me and my dog. I was initially nervous about allowing someone into my home and trusting them to care for my dog, but she did an excellent job. She communicated effectively throughout the process, and my dog truly enjoyed his time with her. I highly appreciate her professionalism and care.”

“Anika came to my house five days out of the week for a month to walk and train my puppy. He was the most well-behaved dog you’ve ever met after working with her. As a first-time dog owner, she always gave advice and helped assuage my anxieties. Timeliness/communication: A+ Thoroughness: A+ Care and concern for your pet: A+”
About: My family and I have always had multiple dogs raised from puppies to full grown dogs that I helped to care for. This includes walking, bathing, feeding, playing fetch, trimming nails and taking them to the vet. I have also taken care of our farm animals daily needs. I work part time and my day to day schedule is very flexible. I am open to same day sitting jobs if needed. I am available to take dog to the vet as well. I have one friendly dog that loves furry company. I can accommodate needs of sitting location, depending on client’s preference. I have toys, crates, treats and dog beds to ensure comfort and needs are met.
“Melanie was great! She made us feel at peace being away from home for so long over Christmas and New Years. The multiple pictures and detailed updates were exactly what we needed. We would rebook her again if we are ever out of town like that again!”

About: Previously I’ve had 2 years of professional dog handling experience from working at dog daycare and boarding facilities. Every day, I would spend hours playing with pups of all different ages, breeds, and sizes. I worked hard to make sure they were fed (and medicated if needed), hand feeding them and sitting down with them if they were too anxious to eat in a new environment. I cared for at least 30 dogs a day, sometimes up to 60. All of them hold a special place in my heart, and I still remember over 200 names. There, I was taught the proper ways to handle and walk dogs. I was also trained on CPR in case of emergencies. Every dog I met had a different personality, so I had to learn from experience how to handle each and every one of them differently. Additionally, I own two cats and have knowledge in basic feline first aid, including CPR. I’ve also raised two litters of kittens in the past, from birth to when they became 2-3 months old. It would be an honor if you decide to choose me to care of your pet, cat or dog, it’s something that I greatly enjoy doing. No matter how big, small, rough, excited, or grumpy your pet is, I would love to care for them. No accommodation is too difficult for me. I’m currently in school at LSU with morning classes, so I’m only available to work past 3PM on weekdays. Most weekends, I’ll be available all day. Feel free to message me personally for any clarification. My services are restricted to walking and home visits, as I don’t have additional space to comfortably care for another pet in my own apartment. I feel confident caring for pets who do not have a fenced in backyard.
“Anna is a wonderful house/cat sitter! My very shy kittygirl took to her on her pre-stay visit, so I was certain she’d be in good hands. Excellent communication, she clearly cares about her work, and I will not hesitate to book her again.”

About: I have over 15 years of experience caring for dogs, including dog sitting for friends and neighbors and owning my own dog for the past six years. As a dog owner, I understand how stressful it can be when your dog is out of sight, so I closely supervise dogs at all times and do not allow off-leash activity or interactions with unfamiliar dogs. Safety and attentive care are always my top priorities. I work remotely during the day and attend school in the evenings, so I am only away from home for a short period, about three hours. This allows me to provide consistent supervision, timely walks, and attentive care throughout the day. I have a fenced yard and one dog in my home. Dogs are always closely supervised, kept on leash outside the yard, and never allowed to interact with unfamiliar dogs. Safety, structure, and consistency are my top priorities.
“JC was great! Very organized and communicative. We loved getting all the updates throughout the day and had no doubt that our pet was being well cared for. Will definitely book again if we come to Baton Rouge again!”

“Anika clearly cares so much about dogs. Before booking my dog in for daycare, she wanted to meet with us to see if our dogs were a good fit together. I really appreciated her taking the time to do that, because my dog is extremely playful and energetic and not all dogs can handle that! Knowing about a bad previous experience I had with a sitter, I feel like she took extra care to send me updates and pictures of Kaju to put me at ease. She went above and beyond in his care- taking him for walks, letting him play with her dog in the yard, and feeding him on time. I trust her completely to care for Kaju, and I know he trusts her too because he was able to take naps at her place (something that he is not always able to do due to trust issues). Anika is an exemplary dog sitter and we will be returning regularly!”

If your dog is not neutered, please let me know. Female dogs will go out separately from males for potty breaks, playtime, and feeding times. I will feed them as requested, provide water breaks, and make sure they are in a safe, caring environment.”
“My boy had such a good day with Courtney!! He attached to her and made him a new bestie today. Very thankful she was able to accommodate me in my last minute needs! Would definitely trust her with my baby again in the future!!”

“This was our pups’ first time away from us and Jennifer was so great with them! We have a longer boarding stay coming up and wanted to see how they would do beforehand. She was so patient with my anxious boy and helped them both settle in in their own time. They were running around and playing by the end of the stay! She was also really communicative and kept us updated often with lots of photos. I’m incredibly picky about who watches my dogs, but after today, I have no reservations about leaving them in Jennifer’s care. They’ll be seeing her again soon!”

“My experience with Robin was exceptional. I have used another sitter through Rover before and the experience was okay, but I noticed my puppy would come home very riled up and needing to immediately decompress. It often felt like I had to calm him down and get him back to his normal baseline. With Robin, the experience was completely different. When I picked him up, he was calm, relaxed, and acting exactly like he does at home. Even during the ride back, he settled into his crate and rested. That told me he was comfortable and well cared for during his stay. I was also a little nervous about having him around other dogs since he hasn’t spent a lot of time with other puppies. Robin was incredibly patient and reassuring. She allowed me to observe and helped me feel confident that he would be just fine, and he truly was. Another thing that stood out was how much my puppy liked her right away. As soon as he got out of the car, he was excited and curious about going inside, which meant a lot to me. I’m so glad I found Robin and truly look forward to working with her again. It’s clear my puppy felt safe and comfortable in her care.”

“I want to thank u so much jackpot has def learned good manners at your house he listens he is calmer just all around better behaved dog ! You're a blessing in so many ways ! 🐾💕”

“Tenay is a skilled and enthusiastic dog walker who keeps in touch when caring for pets. She stayed with my pup for three days while I was out of town, and did a great job, even managing to get my "loves to nap" dog out for some long walks (which he needs). She sent photos and videos and I felt confident that he was Ok at all times.”

About: I’ve been around animals my entire life, and I’ve also fostered through Companion Animal Alliance, which has given me hands-on experience with dogs of all ages, backgrounds, and temperaments. From shy rescues to energetic pups, I know how to make every dog feel safe, loved, and understood. I’m also a dedicated graduate student studying Speech Pathology, which means I’m naturally patient, detail-oriented, and excellent at communication. My schedule allows me to be reliable and consistent, and I treat every pet in my care like they’re my own. Ultimately, I strive to create a safe, loving, and individualized experience for every pet. Your furry family member will always get my full attention, compassion, and care. Pet care fits easily into my routine because I make time for it every day. As a grad student, my schedule is flexible enough for walks, drop-ins, and consistent check-ins and boardings. I plan my day around a pet’s normal routine so they always feel comfortable and cared for. My experience fostering has taught me how to balance school and pet needs without ever feeling rushed. Your pet will always get steady attention, patience, and plenty of love. I take the time to learn each pet’s routine so I can keep things consistent and comfortable for them. In a client’s home, I follow all instructions closely—feeding, walks, meds, and favorite activities—so their pet feels secure in their own space. I keep everything clean, calm, and stress-free, just like you’d expect if you were home. If I’m caring for a pet in my own space, I make sure they have a safe, cozy area, plenty of attention, and a good balance of play and rest. No matter where I’m caring for them, their safety, comfort, and happiness always come first.

I am also pit bull friendly 💕 The babies I board/doggy daycare have FREE ROAM. Which means they can go as they please anywhere in my home, they can sleep with me or they can sleep on the couches or their beds, but If you prefer your baby in a kennel at night, I will respect your wishes. I only have one kennel designated just for that.. You will receive lots of pictures/videos & updates to the point where it may be a little annoying but you’ll never have to text me first checking on them. I give them lots of love! I stay home everyday with the babies, so they will get all of the attention they need. The night before pick up/drop offs, I do give them a bath, each one no matter what. I can pick your dog up or drop them off, I have never had an issues with any dogs fighting, running off or accidents. I am VERY experienced in RUNNERS, the ones who wait for you to open the door to escape. Never had a runner succeed in getting away. I can clip your babies nails & give them a little trim if need be free of charge. If your dog needs medication I can administer it to them at the times needed. Prozac, prednisone, insulin, antibiotics ect, I’m familiar with all. Thank you for taking the time to read this & hopefully you have found the right sitter for your baby/babies. 🐶 I bring the babies to the dog park twice a week along with water treats & toys. I can manage 5 at a time ( leashed ) I do have a fenced in yard with a doggy pool, it’s covered & has pet turf. Lots of room for your baby to play!! This is what I do for a living! I eat breathe & sleep doggies. I stay home full time & when I say full time it’s me & the pups home everyday. I LOVE & taking care of your 4 legged sweetie pies, when you book with me it will allow me to continue to care for the fur babies & accomplish my life long dream to open up a bigger place to care for more. 💕 I truly appreciate repeat customers, but with inflation the way that it is, the cost of gas being so high, I had to make the difficult decision to raise my prices up to $2 more since last year. I understand if you choose to look elsewhere for services, but I hope that you choose to continue to use me. & for new clients ❤️ I have a small male dachshund that gets along with animals & kids very well! I am 100% committed to your pets to make them & you comfortable with my services. I treat my clients babies just like I would my baby!

“Kenya took care of our Milo for 9 days while we were out of the country. And she was so awesome with him. She often sent us updates and pictures in regards to Milo while we were so far away. I really appreciated that so much! We will certainly book Kenya again! I wish I could give her more than 5-stars.”

“Chelsy was GREAT! We made it super late but she still accommodated us and made sure he had everything he needed while she was there. She communicated so good and I felt comfortable with my big boy being in her care!! We will DEFINITELY use her again if we are in the area! 🫶🏽🫶🏽”

“Elise was very professional yet warm and kind. I think our lab may have not wanted to come back home. I will definitely recommend Elise to anyone looking to get their best friend back in better condition than they were left. Will use here again in the future if she is available.”

About: I grew up with a Yorkie and now care for him in his senior years with doggy dementia, which has taught me the importance of patience, gentle routines, and creating a calm, comforting environment. Monday, Wednesdays, and Fridays I get out of class for 11 and am free for the rest of the day. Tuesdays and Thursdays are a little tougher for me due to my classes being scattered throughout the day. I enjoy taking them on walks, giving them baths, playing with them, cuddling with them, feeding and taking them out, and just having an emotional support animal around me!
“This was my first time leaving Toto at home with anyone outside of family, and Lauren immediately made me feel comfortable and at ease knowing he was in good hands. She took great care of him, and Toto took to her right away, even laying on her and relaxing. It was clear he felt safe and happy. He spent the evening playing, cuddling, and getting plenty of rubs. I’m so grateful for the care she showed him and would absolutely trust her with Toto again.”

“Kelly was an excellent choice to watch Hoss for a couple of days while I was out of town. She was quick to respond and offered a very flexible schedule as it related to drop-off/pick-up options. We've already been in discussions for the next booking, would recommend.”

“Josie loved her stay with Mark C! She was happy as a clam when I picked her up! I will definitely take her back here! It is a great, pet friendly house, and Mark and his wife were extremely accommodating!”

“Keith was absolutely wonderful with Geni. She came home so calm and happy from playing with her new friends. He was amazing and made me feel completely at ease with leaving Geni with someone for the first time ever. She’s a bigger breed and still a pup so she can be a handful and Keith handled her great. I will definitely be using Keith again for future needs!”

“I can’t say enough about Emily! She watched both of my pups while I was away on vacation and they were sooo loved! She sent lots of pictures and updates. Will definitely be boarding with her in the future.”
