“Adia was great with our two (2) fur boys. She’s very professional and communicated with us and sent pics with each visit, while we were out/town. Adia came once a day for 12 days and spent time with them, doing what they like doing, especially hanging on the front porch. She cleaned up the mess that they made from time-2-time and even did her best at wiping up our lil boy dog’s mark with urine (uhg🙄), when he did it! “To say we were satisfied with the care Alyssa gave our little Max would be an understatement. We were camping in New Orleans and had events happening that would take us away from our motorhome for over 9 hours for a few days and did not think it wise to leave our small dog alone for so long so we needed to think of something. So for the first time we turned to the ROVER app. As this would be the first time we left our boy with a stranger we were very concerned but We had a meet and greet ahead of the actual dog sitting and it went so well …. we felt at ease right away with Alyssa and her own dog. Our Max and Alyssa’s Oliver hit it off right away … she is a wonderful person full of love, caring and is extremely pleasant. The second day we went to drop Max off he actually pulled me to her door and sat there waiting for her to open the door and when she did open the door he ran in as if he was home already. About: Growing up, my nuclear family cared for roughly thirty cats, both indoor and outdoor. About: My family has had at least one dog in our house since I was born. Everybody in my family has dogs. I have a few family members that rely on me to help them with their dogs when they need it. Everyone in my family treats their pets like they are humans and I do just the same! I am currently in between jobs so I’m available pretty much whenever. I do have my own dog at home so I prefer to not stay somewhere for a long, extended period of time. I am pretty flexible with that though so just ask me and I’ll let you know if it’s doable! I have a fenced in yard. I have a 14 year old rescue that just mainly stays to herself. There is a 1 year old Shih Tzu/Yorkie mix now living here as well, under the care of someone else that’s not me, however she is very rambunctious with other dogs. About: I have have been caring of all types of animals since I was 7+ years old. I have taken care of new born puppies, kittens, raccoons and reptiles of all types throughout my life and I love it!! If I could cuddle a gator I would!!! I have also done whelping services for many family members. I have done a lot of fostering and bottle feeding both puppies and kittens. I’m currently working only for Rover. So I can dedicate all my time to your fur baby and his/her needs and the loving care and schedule you want for them. However I am instructed to. I am there to make you and your pet comfortable while away. It can be stressful for pet and pet parents when they are not together. I try to keep your pets schedule as similar to what they are used to with you. Feeding/ walking/ playing/ sleeping/ waking up will all be as close to their normal schedule as possible. Their comfort is my first priority.
About: I grew up on a farm. I have a lifetime of experience taking care of different types of animals. I am looking forward to meeting your fur-family. My schedule is completely flexible. I have plenty of time to take good care of your beloved animal(s). I am available 7 days a week. Please note: **LATE PICKUP POLICY** There is a 30 minute grace period. After 30 mins past your original pickup time you will be charged $25 plus a $1 per minute for every minute thereafter until your dog/cat/horse/chicken/pig/hamster/kid is picked up. About: I started my animal care experience working for the Audubon Science and Nature center in animal husbandry by caring for native and exotic animals, birds, mammals, reptiles and amphibians in outreach and environmental education! My husband and I cared for wild, rehabilated, exotic, domestic and farm animals throughout our careers. My husband has worked in a stable and farm and has experience with horses, goats, pigs, chickens ect. Both working part-time and mostly from home we will love your baby whether it's got fur, feathers ,hooves, scales or semiporous skin! ;-) My husband and I have a flexible schedule working part time and seasonally, with most hours I can set for myself and also often I am able to work from home. He and I make sure all animals are paid lots of attention to and cared for throughout the day and checked on at night. I have two residences one where I have my pets and another where there are no pets so we can discuss your pets environmental needs. Your baby can play with my pets or have the place to themselves if that suits their demeanor.
About: I've had pets my entire life. I'm retired now and travel extensively for part of the year, so I'm unable to have pets of my own and thought this would be a great way to keep busy while I am in town. I have a doggy door and a large, gated backyard for games of fetch or hide and seek. I will provide a safe, loving home while you are away or drop-in if you so choose. When I'm in NOLA, I often work part-time from home. I'm retired so you could call me a homebody, and I'm often found working in my garden. In the fourth quarter of the year, I do travel until thanksgiving but will keep my calendar here updated. I am relatively flexible with scheduling. My son recently moved and took his Boston Terrier with him, so there are no longer any pets in my home. I have a large, fenced yard perfect for games of hide-and-seek or fetch, and I'm often in the back as well working on my garden. I do not have any plants that would present a danger. I love to take long, daily walks on the levee, which is only two blocks away...and would love to bring your pet along! I often have family visit, who also love pets.
About: I have experience taking care of dogs and cats of all types and sizes for 10+ years. Neighbors, friends, and families have relied on me to feed, bathe, groom, and administer medication and mental enrichment to their pets. I love animals and will always treat them as if they were my own sweet fur baby. I love having playdates at the dog park, local dog friendly venues, and have even gone as far to take a dog I was sitting on a roadtrip with me so that they weren’t stuck in a kennel all day for Thanksgiving. I am currently trying to make babysitting and pet sitting my full time job, so I will have weekday and weekend availability with no particular time restraints. I live in a very dog friendly neighborhood by the levy where walks can occur. I also have a fenced backyard for your dog to safely play in.
About: Caring for pets since I was little, I have cared for many pets from cats to miniature dogs I am home often so I can take your baby out many times during the day. I’m available over night. I can take your dogs for unlimited walks. I’m close to many trail and areas with lots of grass. I am able to feed their normal schedule. Medium size apartment and I have 2 dog parks near my place within two to three feet I’m available for any type of pets hyper or chill.
