I had only dropped my dog off for a couple hours prior to this once before so I was very nervous and hesitant but she was extremely nice and reassured me my dog would be taking care of. What I loved immediately was her living room literally had little doggy beds and tons of doggy toys everywhere so that told me that she really loves her dogs and others. Throughout the entire 3 days stay she sent me multiple updates, pictures and videos which allowed me to see how happy my dog was. “Caitlin went above and beyond to make sure our elderly house cat, Chani, was very well cared for while we were out of town. Chani is a very affectionate cat and needs lots of human contact. Caitlin showered her with attention and affection. Except for her regular humans' presence, Chani had everything she usually does on a daily basis including pets, backrubs, brushes, and kisses, even a walk outside with her harness. Being an elderly kitty, she has to take a blood pressure pill every day or her blood pressure will spike and she'll start to lose her vision, so we're very thankful that Caitlin is experienced with administering medication to pets. Chani took to Caitlin right away and immediately felt at ease with her. We know this because of the many pictures and videos Caitlin sent us showing Chani being at ease and affectionate. When our flight home was delayed for several hours Caitlin graciously agreed to an emergency extra visit to make sure Chani took her medicine and had her dinner. That was really great. She is a great pet sitter and we highly recommend her.”

This window lets me give each pet full, unrushed attention for feeding, litter, play, and cuddles. If you need a specific time within that window, just ask! I’ll do my best to accommodate your pet’s routine. Taking on taking care of other people's pets could be something I could consider doing on days and periods that I ain't working for my other job. About: I previously dog sat over the weekend with my sister using Rover. I loved the experience and am eagerly awaiting to meet new pets! I have pet sat both dogs and cats for friends over the years. Feeding them, taking them on walks, and generally socializing with them while their owner is away for work or vacation. I have free roam rabbit and have taken care of various small animals since I was young. I am always patient and gentle with animals, and love giving pets and cuddles when accepted by the animal. I recently moved back to New Orleans and currently do not have a regular job. I have completely open availability to meet pets in the mornings, afternoons, or evenings. I allow pets time and space to get to know me. This includes sitting the room together, speaking softly, and holding out my hand for sniffing. I am attentive to the pets boundaries and needs to provide the best care possible.

I grew up on a small farm in North Carolina where I was constantly surrounded by animals: horses, chickens, pigs, cows, honey bees, goats, cats, and--of course--DOGS! Not only do I have a lot of experience with animals due to my upbringing, I grew up volunteering and fostering dogs for a North Carolina Humane Society. I also spent two years working as a dog walker, trainer, and caretaker for an ethical goldendoodle breeder. “We are so thankful for Jon! He did an INCREDIBLE job watching our pack of 4 poms over our wedding weekend! We have never used Rover before or left our dogs overnight and were pretty nervous. We even got on a call with Jon prior to booking and he was more than willing to answer our millions of questions. He was flexible with drop off and pick up times (we drove into NOLA from STL) and was so patient with my "helicopter parent" husband that wanted to set up their beds himself and was so anxious to leave them. Jon's house is also on a side street that made drop off really easy. We received multiple updates and the cutest photos the whole weekend! Our pack definitely had a great time. They loved the backyard! We have a senior dog with mobility issues that he was very careful with, and another pom with some hearing and vision loss and he was wonderful with both. It was very obvious that Jon loves dogs and took care of our fur babies like they were his own! When we picked the pups up he had everything packed up which was a huge time saver since we were driving back home. He had even ran one of our blankets through the dryer so they would have a warm spot to lay since the weather had gotten cold that morning! It is so difficult to trust someone else with your animals, and we were lucky to find such a caring and thoughtful Rover. I originally scheduled a daycare appointment that I cancelled that morning due to my dog appearing sick. Once I saw he was ok, I contacted Megan to ask if I could bring him since he was feeling better and it was no problem. She took pictures of my dog while he was there, got him to eat, and provided updates. Would highly recommend.”
