I have a four year old Mini Aussie ready to play and entertain your fur baby. I also offer drop in home pet care and plant care/mail retrieval services while you are away. All dogs must be house broken and socialize well with other dogs and people. I am available 7 days a week. Dogs must be crate trained (for overnight), house broken, have current immunization records and complete a short temperament assessment. I have a three dog limit, including my dog. Any dog’s acceptance into or rejection from my care is solely at my discretion. I have a fenced yard and plenty of toys to keep things exciting. My home is dog friendly and crates are available for short term or overnight use. Dogs will be crated at night for boarding.

Her house was kind of a drive from where we were staying in downtown Cincinnati, but Karen was well-worth the drive. About: When Covid started, I accidentally started my business by helping a couple people who adopted dogs outside of their care knowledge. Helping them with their working class dogs (pitbull, collie, and a GSP) and establish a better owner/pet relationship made me realize that this is the right move for my future. Since then I have started my own business as well as helping others with their new family member(s). No creature is too small or large for me. My smallest dog client is 3 pounds and the largest is 215. Aside from that I have expanded my practices with lizards, snakes, cats, and birds. Let me know if you have any questions in the meantime! I am home most of the day. I do part-time work in hospice as well as part-time classes; (I have a door bachelors degree already working towards a BSN). If you have a special needs animal, I am more than happy to comply with their schedule, I just need to know in advance as much as possible. My dogs have a semi strict schedule of activities to keep them mentally/physically stimulated. I follow suit with everybody’s dog. About: I’ve always been a dog person. I took care of my neighbor’s dogs in high school and did a lot of housesitting during and after college. I’m excited to expand my opportunity here. I’ve invested a lot of time training both of our dogs since they were puppies. I also love hiking & live near several parks and trails. I am in between jobs so my schedule is very flexible! I usually walk my own dog once a day but that is easy to work around. We live in a small apartment so I will always travel to you. I don’t have enough space to bring your pets here. Availability for Tuesday/ Thursday varies because my classes range from 11-2 which isn’t ideal for potty breaks or feedings but am able to negotiate if you have a specific situation that would fit my schedule on those two day. During the weekend im free whenever and can do mornings, overnight care, potty breaks, special feeding care, etc. While at home I let our dog out, give treats, feed, and clean the cat's littler box, feed the cat, replenish the water supply in their fountain, etc. I have a senior dog so playing isn’t in her cards anymore but I’m happy to sit with senior dogs and play with younger dogs. I also love walks and will take your pups for as long of a walk as you’d like. I even walk my cat in a pet stroller when the weather is nice!

As a cat mom myself, I know how stressful it can be to trust another person with the wellbeing of your pets and take the responsibility very seriously. I carefully follow each owner's instructions for feeding, medications (if needed), exercise, playtime, and any special routines that help their pet feel comfortable. I make sure pets have fresh food and water, clean living spaces, and plenty of attention and enrichment while their owners are away. I also know how important communication is, so I provide regular updates and photos to give owners peace of mind. My goal is to keep pets happy, comfortable, and safe while maintaining as much of their normal routine as possible.

About: Hi, I’m Alexa! I’m a 22 year old lifelong animal lover with over 10 years of experience caring for dogs. Growing up, I helped care for multiple Vizslas as well as a Great Dane, giving me experience with dogs of all sizes and temperaments. I currently have a miniature dachshund who is truly my world, so I understand how important it is to find someone you trust with your pet. My boyfriend, Alex, who lives with me, also helps care for the dogs we sit. He grew up with a Husky, has years of experience with dogs, and as a 6’3” former college athlete, he’s especially comfortable handling large, strong breeds. Together, we’ll treat your pets like family and provide them with the same love, attention, and care that we give our own. Starting July 20, my schedule will look slightly different. I will be available on weekdays after 5 pm, and I will be fully available on the weekends! I currently live in a 1 bedroom apartment in an near Findlay Market! Lots of sidewalks to walk on as well as 2 dog parks very close by. Apartment also has a pet spa and a dog run!

I have a four year old Mini Aussie ready to play and entertain your fur baby. I also offer drop in home pet care and plant care/mail retrieval services while you are away. All dogs must be house broken and socialize well with other dogs and people. I am available 7 days a week. Dogs must be crate trained (for overnight), house broken, have current immunization records and complete a short temperament assessment. I have a three dog limit, including my dog. Any dog’s acceptance into or rejection from my care is solely at my discretion. I have a fenced yard and plenty of toys to keep things exciting. My home is dog friendly and crates are available for short term or overnight use. Dogs will be crated at night for boarding.
