“Nancy is the best! I promise once you go to her you won't go anywhere else! Very knowledgeable, and my daisy is always excited to see her! Also she loves to play with the other dogs.”

“We always love a sit with Kristin and her family. Oreo can't wait to get there and is always exhausted when she comes home - and I know it's from all the playtime she gets there. She is so well taken care of. I highly recommend Kristin and her family for your pets!”

“We couldn't be happier with the care provided during our overnight stay! From the moment we left, we felt completely at ease knowing our dog was in such good hands. Communication was excellent, with regular updates and photos that gave us peace of mind while we were away. Our dog was happy, well-cared for, and clearly received lots of attention and affection. We would absolutely book again and highly recommend them to anyone looking for a trustworthy, caring, and reliable sitter!”

“Amber is always someone we feel like we can trust our pups with. They love being there and are always well cared for! Bowser is always so excited to be there. Thank you so much! Y'all are the best! ❤️”

“Ashley was great with our little buddy. Rocket and her daughter got to be best buds. She was great to send photos to make us feel better. He had a great time. Will definitely use her again. Thanks so much.”

“I am so fortunate to have Lynn and her family to watch my 2 girls while I am out of town. She has a beautiful clean house with a large front and back yard for the pups to go in and out as they please. She even went out of her way to add toppings to the kibble when the girls were not eating well at first. I cannot recommend Lynn and her family enough. Will continue to be a repeat customer!”

“Andy did a great job helping Nate feel at home. Nate got snacks he likes and outside breaks that were on his schedule. Andy sent a lot of updates with pictures. Besides the cute pictures, Andy sent me a picture that showed Nate feeling relaxed. Frankly, I was glad Nate still wanted to come home! Andy understands dogs, has an appreciation for the variety of normal dog behavior, and really does love dogs. His daughter also really loves dogs. Although I found Andy through Rover, a mutual friend confirmed that he’s a dog lover and would trust him with her dogs. Knowing that we had mutual friends was literally an answer to prayer. I would definitely trust this family with Nate again.”

“Lacey loves Heather and so do we. We are able to have a great time on vacations without ever worrying about her. We know our little girl is having fun and being well taken care of!! We have booked Heather numerous times and will continue to have her take care of Lacey for us! She is great!”

“Brent is a good person and a great dog sitter. Maple and Mozzie's (Brent's dog) first meeting went great. They played very well together. The day we dropped off Maple at Brent's home, he and his wife were very friendly and inviting with us and our dog Maple. They explained everything involved with Maple's stay and activities in their home. He kept us updated with pictures and texts. I would definitely recommend Brent and Rover to other pet owners.”

“Andrew accepted a last minute request for an overnight stay. He is very quick to respond and Bear warms up to him quickly. This is the second time we have used Andrew and we have had no issues. Would definitely recommend him to others for dog sitting needs. :)”

“We went out of town for a week leaving our one year old Bulldog with Nef. He came to meet our dog and even accommodated transportation. My dog is very picky on who she likes however it was love from first sight. This was the first time we had to board our dog and now we have our go to person for life. Thanks Nef for the outstanding service!”

“Dina did an awesome job with my Lady. She kept me informed about what was going on with it. I will be recommending her to all my friends. Will definitely use her again.”

“Alyssa was awesome! Her and her kiddos welcomed Zorro with open arms! She kept me posted on how he was doing and out my mind at ease during his stay. Thanks Alyssa, I will definitely be rebooking for any future needs!”

“Erin and family took great care of our Lucy Lu. Our dog is old and takes a bit more care than most dogs, as she is deaf and on medications. Erin kept us up to date on Lucy’s weekend and share pictures. We will definitely be calling again when we need doggie care. Thanks Erin!!!”

“Morgan is such a sweet person, she’s quick with her response, sends pictures for updates & I can tell my little one had an amazing time. I’ll definitely be using her again🤗”

“Excellent experience! Great communication! Haley kept us updated daily with photos and videos. Roxie made some new friends and looks forward to visiting again in the future! Thanks again!”

“Laura took great care of my dog, Winston! She sent updates and photos throughout the stay, and was very easy to communicate with. Would definitely recommend!”

“Clarissa and her family were so welcoming to Dexter. There doggie was as layed back as mine is. Just a few smells of each other and both went on their way. Dex had all the loves and cuddles he needed. Even their adorable children were obviously pet lovers. Dexter will be visiting again for certain.”

“Arla and her son, Zach, were awesome! Those are the two we met and they took good care of our little guy. We were very happy with the care he got. Our pup never even barked when he met them and seemed to love playing with their dogs. ”

“We've booked Megan a couple of times now for drop-in cat visits. She's communicative and pleasant, she's reliable and seems to really care about animals. The cats seem happy and healthy when we get home, and they have plenty of food and water and don't act like there were any problems. She's already gone above and beyond for one of the cats, and we really appreciate that she was concerned for the cat's wellbeing like that.”

“Bekah was incredible!!!!! She kept us updated and informed while we were away for the week. She was not deterred by some extra instructions for our health-sensitive cats. She made them feel loved and made us feel at ease leaving out babies at home. Thank you so much!”

“Caitlin was great with our pup! She communicated ahead of time and made sure Shadow was taken care of. She was intentional with playing with him and providing us updates. Will be using her in the future!”

“Cadrian did an excellent job of taking care of our cat Valentina for 3 days last week, despite Valentina being a little mean in the last visit. Cadrian is great with animals and we scheduled a meet and great beforehand that went well. Overall, very easy and communicative, would recommend.”

“Hailey was absolutely amazing! She stepped in at the last minute to care for our dogs, and we couldn’t have asked for a better sitter. She came multiple times a day to let them out, spent time playing with them, and made sure they got plenty of attention. She kept us updated throughout our trip with messages and adorable pictures, which gave us so much peace of mind. It was clear she genuinely cared about our dogs and treated them like her own. We highly recommend Hailey and will definitely be using her again in the future!”

“Harley seemed to have a good visit with Hannah! It was a semi-long day for Harley in the crate, but he was still tired for bed which means he must of had a good energy release when Hannah visited.”

About: I have had dogs and cats in my life for over 50 years. I was so lucky to grow up in a home that was the local Noah’s Arc. This childhood formed my commitment and love to animals. About 20 years ago, I decided to enter the world of pure bred dogs and have been an avid exhibitor and breeder of Pointers and Ridgebacks focused always on good temperaments and health. I love dogs and really believe it’s important that each animal I care for, feels at home, comfortable, pampered, exercised and loved. I have 4 dogs that are super casual and it has been very easy to bring animals into my home. I will only take 1 or 2 dogs at a time, as I want to be able to provide the best care possible for them. Your animals are treated as though they are mine and the care and love they will experience can only be exceeded by you. It’s always stressful for animals to be away from their families, so the more I can do to relieve this stress, the better I feel. I always tease my clients that their dogs may come home a little spoiled. I’m very much available all day really to take care of the dogs as my schedule is very flexible. In addition my brother lives with me and he helps me take care of the dogs. There is always a person at our house while your dog will be visiting. I also offer a military discount for those that have or are serving our beautiful country. I do not work outside of the home, which provides me with a lot of flexibility to provide dedicated care to your pets all day. I think it's important dogs that stay at my house receive the same amount of attention as they would at home and as my dogs do. I also believe it's important not to disrupt their daily routine, so I work closely with owners to understand each Dog needs.
“Nancy was most accommodating! Beautiful country. Visiting from out of town and wanted a place where my German Shepherd could socialize and play with other dogs to get wore out for the journey home the next day. Large fenced yard. She even let my 116 lb dog inside for a visit. I would DEFINITELY trust her with my baby again!”

“Ollie had a great time! Brent sent pics and was a great communicator! If we're back in Lexington, we will definitely have Ollie stay here again!”

“Wow really can’t brag about enough on MrsShaine! She took us last minute traveling from Louisiana to Columbus GA for my son’s turning blue graduation from the Army then we decided to extend our vacation to the Arc, the sitter I had booked thought it best I find someone with no animals so I was very Thankful for her! She was so incredibly nice and I felt very safe leaving Chopper with her! Communication was awesome as well! If I could give 10 stars I would she saved our vacation quite literally! Even though we own a level 4 clinger for a Pitbull & it was his very first day @doggy daycare! My family thanks you so much MrsShaine!”

“She did great with my pup. My pup took a surprise trip to her parents house and went on a walk with their pup! My pup was all worn out at the end of the day!”

“Amber saved our lives when we needed a last-minute sitter for our little Ebi. She was lovely when we dropped her off, and we could tell how much she loves dogs. She was very communicative all day, sending pictures and keeping us updated on how Ebi was doing 😊 She’s actually taking care of Ebi for two days in a row.”

“Rachel and her family were fantastic with my energetic 1.5 yo Barbet, DollyP🌸! Rachel was very accommodating! I needed to make a last minute change in my schedule and she was willing to keep Miss DollyP several hours after our agreed upon pickup time! Thankful! Highly recommend her and her family!”

Therefore, I am completely free Friday through Monday and I’m open to housesitting at your house or mine throughout the week. I am open to come by for walks or potty breaks in between my classes as well. I have a Bernie doodle at home that is very friendly and loves to play. My yard is not fenced in, but I can easily walk them around for exercise and potty breaks.
“Clarissa, we had a wonderful experience and couldn't be happier with the care provided. From the beginning, you were communicative, reliable, and genuinely caring. What stood out most was her willingness to make accommodations and work with our schedule and specific needs, which made the entire process stress-free. It was clear that Lena was treated with patience, and attention, and we received updates that gave us peace of mind while we were in our event. Knowing our pup was in such good hands allowed us to fully enjoy our time. If you are in the Lexington area this is your gal, highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy and compassionate Rover sitter!”

About: I have taken care of animals big and small for most of my life; goats, chickens, cats, dogs, geese, rabbits, fish, snakes, rats, geckos, tortoises, pigeons, and probably more. I have pet sit for many friends and family members, and now that I have a cat of my own, I know how much trust one must put in someone to watch their pet. I have also cared for animals in a professional setting at Madison Children's Museum (where I cared for chickens, pigeons, crested geckos, turtles, tortoises, and rats) and was trained in their care. I am used to feeding my cat and cleaning her litter box every morning. Along with this, I sweep because she is a menace who launches her litter across the room. I will treat your pet as if they are my own family, talking to them as if they can respond, and giving them all the love I have. I will also follow any special instructions you have for me, and try to keep your pet on their preferred schedule - I want you both to be as comfortable as possible.

“I was visiting family in the area, and I left my 40 lb female husky with Kimberly for the day. My husky gets anxious in new environments and loves to be outside. Kimberly helped her get acquainted with the new surroundings and took her for SO many walks! When I picked my husky up at the end of the day, she was very happy and very tired! I would definitely contact again and recommend Kimberly. I felt very comfortable, she was very communicative & clearly cared about my husky having a good day too!”

“Rachel is the first dog walker I’ve ever hired, and my first experience with Rover. She has been exceptional. SO sweet, great at communicating, and timely. She also spent an extra 20-30 minutes walking my dog (after communicating to see if it was ok), trying to track down a bandana that had fallen off. She has been a huge help to my family, and I can’t recommend her enough.”

About: I've helped take care of dogs for friends and family since I graduated from college in 2016. I'm a thoroughbred jockey currently off riding due to injury, and apprenticing to become a dog trainer. I have multiple friends that train dogs professionally, my personal dog sees multiple trainers regularly, and I learn new things every day. From obedience to behavior to nutrition, I value all of the practical use, knowledge, and love I can apply to any dog I get the opportunity to work with! I'm a thoroughbred jockey currently off riding due to injury. I have a lot of free time now, and I've started to fill it by gaining as much knowledge and practice in professional pet and sport training for dogs and cats. Rover is a way I may be able to help out my community by applying everything I'm learning for pets and people that need someone that cares about their animals the way I've cared about animals my whole life. At home, I have two lovely house cats and one rambunctious puppy. My cats like their space and will ask for love when they want it. My puppy needs structure in his day to balance activity, learning, enrichment, and rest. I am more than comfortable providing the kind of care any client wants for their furry family members. Whether that's daily enrichment, getting out in the world, or learning an off switch at home. I'm familiar with excited jumping on guests and earning trust from nervous or shy animals. I have Ruffland crash tested kennels in my car and can provide enrichment and new adventures if requested! If you don't have a fenced area around your home, and you are comfortable with it, I do have 20ft long lines I can use so the dogs get a chance to be outside to play and do their business while also ensuring their safety. I've always been an animal lover, and now that I have free time in my life, I want to provide knowledge and time for other animals and their humans that need a helping hand.
“Bekah was great! She took great care of my dog and cat while I worked a 12-hour shift with an additional 2-hour commute. She sent pictures of the time she was here, and even brought in a package I had delivered so it wouldn’t sit outside all day! I will definitely rebook with Bekah!”

About: I grew up with all kinds of pets- dogs ranging from pomeranians to great danes, cats, reptiles, and small mammals. I spent some time working for a luxury dog hotel and daycare and have pet sat for many families over the years. Now, in addition to caring for people's furry friends, I also work as a holder for a mobile company that does dog, cat, and other pet nails. Pet care is my full-time job! When I'm not pet sitting or walking dogs, I'm helping with pet pedicures. My household is on a second shift schedule, so I can provide check ins later at night and I usually get around to my first morning check ins by 10 a.m. (unless you request earlier). I do not provide care in my home because I currently rent. In your home I am able to provide feeding, watering, potty breaks, play time and attention, (non-injected) medications, and more upon request. When walking your dog(s), I am very attentive and aware, and love providing your companions with positive reinforcement when exhibiting desirable behaviors. I go with your dog's pace, and even offer trips to the dog park if you believe your furry friend needs to get out more than a walks worth of energy!

I have no trouble creating the special bond needed with most dog personalities. Dogs are truly our best friends! I play and exercise my own dogs daily. I understand the importance of keeping dogs engaged, healthy, and active. I do have a part-time job, but schedules are flexible given enough notice. I am so excited to care for your pup! I like to make sure the doggie is a happy, tired doggie when I do have to leave them. They love me and know fun is in store when I’m around. I play fetch and frisbee in the backyard and go on long walks around the neighborhood. If we can’t be outside I’ll play games with them indoors to challenge their minds and keep them occupied. Then of course there’s snuggle time together until they’re ready to nap or go to sleep in their crates or bed.

I love exercise and often walk my own dog 4-5 times a day. I have lived with dogs my whole life. I know how to feed, walk, and love a dog. I will treat your furr babies like they are my own. I will give them plenty of love, I will play with them, and get all their energy out!
About: I have worked with all types of pets throughout my entire life! I have worked with everything from cats and dogs, to snakes and parakeets! I am a student-athlete and I will accommodate to.the best of my abilities. Let me know what times and days work best for you, and I will do what I can to adjust accordingly! My #1 goal is to ensure that the pet is happy and healthy when I am in it's care! I understand that new people can be frightening or scary to a companion animal. My job is to take my time to get to know these pets and make their time with me enjoyable and comfortable!
About: Hey there! I have grown up surrounded by dogs and have always shared special bonds with them. I currently have a 2-year-old cat, Sue, that my friend found while he was fishing. We lost her brother, Charlie, a couple years ago to cancer. He was a black lab pit mix and the best light to your day! I’m currently working part-time and am looking to supplement that with a few hobbies, and opportunities from here. I will try to make myself available as much as possible if you need me. Although I like it when animals are enjoying themselves, I value safety and can be firm when I need to be. I look forward to (hopefully) meeting you & your furry friends soon! I’m currently most flexible for over the night stays and drop by visits or walks. It would be nice to have something routine, but I’m also interested in sporadic opportunities! I'm not offering stays at my home because my cat isn't a big fan of meeting new animals, but I’m available to come to yours!

“Arla and her son, Zach, were awesome! Those are the two we met and they took good care of our little guy. We were very happy with the care he got. Our pup never even barked when he met them and seemed to love playing with their dogs. ”

“Ashley took great care of my dog Curry! They asked all details about sitting Curry and being flexible about times, which helped me a lot for planning my trip. Very responsive and organized, Curry had a wonderful time here! Highly recommended”

About: Hi! I’m Evelyn, a veterinary technician with 8 years of hands-on experience caring for dogs and cats of all ages, sizes, and personalities. Caring for animals isn’t just my career—it’s something I truly love. Working in veterinary medicine has taught me how to recognize when pets are stressed, uncomfortable, or not feeling their best. Whether your pet needs medication, a fun walk, overnight companionship, or just a little extra patience, I’ll care for them like they’re my own. Every pet has a unique personality and routine, and I enjoy taking the time to get to know what makes them happiest. I’ll keep you updated with regular photos and messages so you can relax knowing your pet is safe, comfortable, and in caring, experienced hands. My schedule works well for pet care because I have a consistent full-time routine and a one-hour lunch break that often allows me to check in on pets or provide midday visits when needed. Outside of work, I love staying active through running and daily walks, so I enjoy keeping dogs happy and engaged while always matching the pace to each pet’s age, energy level, and needs. I’m available for walks, drop-in visits, house sitting, and pet care throughout the week and on weekends. My goal is to provide dependable, compassionate care while keeping your pet’s routine as consistent as possible. Your pet’s safety, comfort, and happiness are my top priorities. As a veterinary technician, I’m trained to recognize signs of stress, illness, anxiety, and changes in behavior, but I also know that the best care often means helping pets feel relaxed, secure, and loved. I live in a pet-friendly apartment with my friendly dog and make sure every pet receives plenty of attention, exercise, potty breaks, and supervision. I’ll follow your pet’s routine closely, whether that includes feeding schedules, medications, or crate training, and I’ll always keep you updated with photos and messages so you know how they’re doing.
