Even if you have the friendliest dog, not all dogs will vibe, so this step is important. **Meet and greets can be waived for dogs under 6 months but am happy to have one if that is your preference. We have a large, fenced in back yard as well as live in a safe, quiet, dog-friendly neighborhood. In our house, there is no furniture off limits. Your pups will be welcome to sleep on the bed, on the couch, or on the floor. If you prefer your dog crated at night, we can do that too! My house is set up to host dogs in the safest way possible. This includes multiple safety gates for feeding times or some alone time for your pup to chew on bones or toys. I will accompany your dog(s) on any potty breaks outside that include my dogs. My dogs are also crated when I leave to ensure everyone's safety. Both of my girls are vaccinated to boarding standards and I would prefer yours be too! With 20+ years of experience of handling and living with dogs, you can be sure that your beloved pet will be safe and loved in my home. I am currently studying for technical certifications, and spend most of my time at home with my dog Gus. First thing in the morning, Gus gets a potty break, and while he is out, he gets fresh water, and his breakfast is ready when he comes back inside. I have done my best to make sure Gus has a steady routine and gets plenty of opportunities for outside time and bathroom breaks, as well as eating at roughly the same time every day. When your pet stays with me, they will be treated to the same accommodations that my dog is. I have a corner lot house with a fenced in backyard, with plenty of room for multiple dogs to be able to move freely or frolic about as they choose. “When we did our meet and greet, I immediately could tell Melodie knew a thing or two about dogs. She was calm in her approach to the introductions, and made me feel at ease leaving my fur baby with her for an entire week. She sent me plenty of pictures, and included cute little things that happened (her daughter commented on my dog's sweet personality). Between Melody, her 3 beautiful daughters, and her 3 adorable dogs giving Riley love, attention, and play, I felt like a mom dragging a child away from a really fun summer camp when I picked her up. I'm positive she got lots of love and play time, was well taken care of, and I'll be using Melody again! Highly recommend!”
