Bear is almost 14 years old and not interested in playing, but he got along well with Veronica’s gentle dog, who Veronica carefully introduced to him. He likes to be with people, and he was so comfortable with Veronica that he relaxed at my feet when she and I chatted, instead of pulling me out the door. Veronica was very careful to help Bear negotiate around her house, as he doesn’t see well, and she was clever in making sure he could safely go out. About: I have had pets my entire life ranging from dogs to cat to reptiles to fish! I’m very experienced with it all :) I worked at 2 dog daycares, a dog training facility, and now at a vet clinic !! I absolutely love going on hikes and nature walks so if you would love your dogs or even cats to go in the outdoors I can absolutely do so ! I love photography so tons of great pics will be added, if I travel with your animal, they will be in a crate in my car for safety. Since I have worked as a dog trainer ( not yet certified ) I will be happy to work on any commands or teach them any new ones ! ❤️ (If you book doggie daycare with me, we will not be staying at my home the entire time, we will be doing socialization training, nature walks/hikes, parks things of that nature, keep that in mind but down time will still happen as that is essential to the animal) A normal day for my dogs looks like several mini training sessions throughout the day, at least one nature walk or hike, plus mental enrichment and then doing socialization/desensitization training ! After all of that they get to be satisfied and roam around the house or my land as they please :)) Going into clients homes and being able to watch their animals is a privilege and I’m willing to do a lot for the animals. If the parents tell me a set of rules I never surpass their boundaries. The owners know their pets more than anyone!
About: I’ve loved animals for as long as I can remember. Back in 2014, I had two ferrets, and they were such a joy—full of energy and personality! Since 2019, I’ve had my long-haired Dachshund, Chestnut, who’s been my constant companion. Taking care of him has taught me a lot about the needs of small dogs, from grooming to keeping up with their energy. I’ve also helped out friends by pet-sitting over the years. I work for the school district and home early daily. If I'm not home my mother is. We also are able to schedule around each other if needed so that somebody is always home. “Sasha was amazing! I needed a sitter due to a medical emergency, there were so many things at play to where I was out of town when our dog was ready to be picked up. My dad who was just recovering from surgery was not as fast he usually was post surgery. We had to coordinate and navigate a lot considering this was also our first time using Rover. Sasha was patient in navigating the frustrations with pick up. She was very hands on with our dog and communicated with us as we navigated his needs and this app for the first time. I highly recommend her to anyone needing a pet sitter. Thanks for your help Sasha and helping our family during this time and not having to travel 20 hours with our German shepherd. About: I usually pet sit for family and friends but I have decided to extend my pet sitting services to others that need it. I don’t have any speciality training but I do know how to love and care for dogs. My dog is 11 years old and is the sweetest dog with the best temperament - so I know I did something right! I currently work approximately 6 hours per day Monday through Friday. I am available on weekends and holidays. I can often accommodate short notice and same day bookings when my schedule allows. Your dogs comfort and care are important to me, and I will do my best to provide a flexible and reliable boarding experience. My home has a large, fully fenced yard with plenty of space for dogs to run, play, and relax in the sun. Fresh water is always available, and I have a small doggy door that can be used throughout the day for easy access to the yard. A crate is also available if your dog is crate-trained or needs a quiet space to rest. I aim to provide a safe and welcoming environment where your dog can feel comfortable!
