“This was our first time using Rover and Brandin, his wife Caroline and family were wonderful to work with. They helped ease our nerves and reassured us our dog would do great, which he did. They are very nice people and great to work with. Quick to respond and took wonderful care of our dog. We plan to use them again and it’s nice that our dog has another loving family to go to while we’re away.”

“Tobey had a great time with Jennifer! We were able to do a last minute booking with her without any complications and she was eager to help. She also kept me updated and sent me photos while we were gone! Would definitely recommend and will plan to use her in the future!”

“Kelsey and family were so accommodating to our timid, anxiety filled dog. He had a great time playing, we got updates and photos, and he came home a very happy, tired boy :) Will definitely book with them again!”

“Nadia was amazing! Our pet had the best time at her place and she was super accommodating to us. Not only that, but she also made sure to constantly update us on everything that happened and how she was doing throughout the whole stay!”

“New to Rover, Steve was at the top of the search list and surely Tako and I experienced why. He was great, he has a way with dogs and absolutely loves them! Very chill, laid back, and accommodated very well to my requests or changes. He is very responsive, updates on how Tako is doing, and detailed Tako’s visit at the end. The added bonus is that all I had to provide for Tako for his stay was a bowl and food, Steve took care of the rest! Tako was in very good hands, allowing me to enjoy my trip with no worries about my furry son. I would definitely recommend him to anyone else and will be asking Steve to dogsit Tako in the future!”

“Amanda's the best, plain and simple. She's extremely well educated and seasoned when it comes to all things dog care and dog training. She made me instantly feel comfortable and easy about leaving my puppy with her over the holiday weekend, and I could relax on my vacation knowing that my dog was in the absolute best, most well equipped hands he could be in. Sweet, smart, and you can tell she loves dogs deeply. Will use her any time the future requires.”

About: I’ve been around animals all my life and feel very comfortable with them. Growing up, I would help with caring for the family pets. I would clean up after them, walk them, feed/water them, kennel train/potty train, and play with them. I’ve grown up with mostly cats and dogs, but I am not opposed to caring for other pets. I am very much of an animal lover but currently don’t have a pet of my own, so I would love to be the caretaker of one of your sweet pets! I am a full-time stay at home mom. My schedule can be very flexible. I have a 1 year old who takes two naps a day which allows me to give appropriate care and attention to the pets that are in my care. I live in two story home with a fenced in backyard. A park is right down the street as well were people walk their dogs all the time. I live in a very pet friendly neighborhood. :)
“We can’t recommend Colter enough! He took wonderful care of our Corgi Saffron for two stays recently. One overnight and one 6 night stay. He communicates promptly and his home has been very clean each time we’ve been there. Saffron had never been anywhere overnight and she was excited to see him when we took her the second time and we’ve already booked another stay with him. His dog Rumi is very calm and sweet.”

“Cassandra was amazing!! Not only was she accommodating for our last minute boarding request but she sent pictures and checked in throughout the week. The dogs were clearly well taken care of and happy. We will absolutely book again in the future!”

“Maisy did a great job with Ruby (and with me). She sent me a text with pictures of Ruby making friends on the first day and a little information about how she was doing. I got another text from Maisy the next morning to let me know how Rugy had done during the night. I really appreciated the update. This was the first day of my vacation, so I was not able to get Ruby myself, but my daughter got her. She said Ruby was glad to see her but would also have gone back to play with the other dogs if she had been allowed to : ) I will happily ask Maisy to look after her again when the need arises. Sorry this is so long in coming, but I only returned from my trip yesterday.”

“I feel incredibly blessed to have the relationship I have with Mike and Jennifer. It’s difficult to leave your pets when leaving town. But Mike and Jennifer treat my dog so incredibly well, I know they are in great hands. They genuinely care about my dogs and I appreciate that.”

“Petra did an amazing job watching my two boys and it made our trip better knowing they were in good hands. Seeing the daily photos from the walks and cuddles made us very happy. The boys were both super happy at pickup and I could tell they both had a lot of fun. We will definitely be returning for future trips.”

“Once again, Regan was fantastic! I was gone over 15 days and I knew Daisy would be well taken care of. Regan kept me updated daily on how Daisy was doing and sent me plenty of photos to see she was doing great! I will always try to use Regan when I leave town.”

“Cheryl was great! I was worried Daisy might not get along with the other dogs but Cheryl assured me they'd be fine and they were. Within an hour I had a picture from her of them playing in the backyard. She sent texts and photos every day and I was very relieved (I'm an over anxious dog mom). Highly recommend Cheryl. Will definitely use her again.”

“Lauren did an amazing job taking care of our special needs dog. Her dogs were super friendly and very welcoming of him even though he was much larger than them, and they all seemed to become great friends. We will be utilizing her services again in the future. Highly recommended!”

“I was so nervous about leaving my dog with someone I didn’t know while I was out of town, but Paige completely put my mind at ease! She was amazing! She kept me updated with lots of photos and videos, which made being away so much easier, and I could tell my pup was having the best time. She was also incredibly flexible with my last minute booking, and I truly appreciated that. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience, and I’ll definitely be booking with Paige again. Highly recommend!”

“Valentine was great with my cat and very flexible with booking last minute. My cat is usually very shy but she warmed up to Valentine quickly! Valentine is also great with keeping you updated with pictures. I will be booking again!!”

“Great to work with! Easy to communicate with, flexible and quick to respond. She was able to mix my pets pain medication capsule into purée and get him to eat it during the time I was gone. Nice to know he is being well taken care of while I am away.”

“Anita was great with our kitty, Caesar! She was very communicative and came prepared to the meet and greet to make sure she could provide the best care for Caesar. The drop in descriptions and photos were wonderful to get while away from home.”

“Amanda was absolutely fantastic! We booked very last minute over Thanksgiving and she was so awesome! She was very communicative and helpful. The cats absolutely loved her and can’t wait to see her again! She sent the sweetest pictures!!”

“Lydia was so kind and took excellent care of our two cats, Blackberry and Baby Jane, while we were out. We had last minute issues with our litter box robot and she brought inside a big box that got shipped and had the replacement litter box, despite not needing too. She also cleaned up the the cat bowls and sent us pictures of the stray cats that we feed. Would absolutely recommend her and would love if she took care of our cats in the future.”

“Amazing experience, will definitely use again! Quick response when booking and able to arrange same day visit. Very flexible and feels comfortable giving pet medication which is quite helpful.”

“Justine did an amazing job caring for our Pepperoni while we were gone! She made sure to send photos and a small paragraph describing everything they did that evening. It was great to know someone cared as much for our sweet girl as we did! Will definitely book her again for any future trips!”

When I have had my own dog in the past, they were generally rarely alone, always going to work with me and on errands.

“Kelby did a great job drawing out my reluctant cat who does not except strangers readily. It looked like kitty made up with her. Kelby kept me post about her visit each day. Thanks Kelby.”

“Hi guys. I feel like you all did a great job. You took O' Malley for 10 days and let him do his thing and be comfortable in his own way. Thank you! The only thing I would have liked more of is communication. Both times I had to reach out to you for check ins. Good luck with your pet sitting!!!”

For my in home services, I have a yard that is set up with individual fenced areas, as well as having 4.5 acres that will soon be fully fenced in! For those bigger dogs who want to be able to run and stretch their legs more.I have two of my own dogs as well, as company for those who would enjoy a playmate. We do crate all guests for bedtime and meals. This ensures everyone can eat at their own pace, and in a safe environment. Same for bedtime. As a college student-athlete , I have a flexible schedule. I’m available mornings, afternoons, evenings, and weekends, allowing consistent care, walks, feeding, and quality attention. About: Hello!! My name is Maisy. I have worked in various different animal related jobs for the last 5 years, I worked at a doggie daycare/boarding facility and I currently am a dog trainer. I have experience with both puppies and elderly dog as well as cats, reptiles, birds, and farm animals. I also am open to limited contact boarding for people reacting dogs and can do crate rotation for dog reactive dogs away from mine. I work in the evenings 4 days a week so I spend the mornings/afternoons out playing with the pups then they take naps in kennels while I’m at work and we play some more when I get home. I also can move my dogs kennels out of the “dog room” and your dog can just stay in there instead of a kennel if they are more comfortable that way. I have 5 dogs that are very active and friendly. I have a fenced in yard the dogs love to run around in and inside we have lots of toys and comfy places to take naps (which will be put up if there are problems). If I’m not at home or at night all dogs will be kenneled for safety.

My house has plenty of rooms and easy access through the doggy door to the back yard. And a lot of room around the house. It’s a pet loving home, some could say the run the house ❣️

“Madison did so well with our energetic 6 month old GSD mix! He can be energetic and she went above and beyond to get him the playtime and exercise he needed. This included walks and playing fetch outside, among other things. He came home a very happy pup!”

About: I have done drop in visits, farm sitting, dog grooming, equine care, and taken care of many animals. I have at least 10 references. Love all the animals and will treat them with love and respect. I own a mobile dog grooming business so can make my own schedule. I have my farm animals but I have help from family to care for mine when I’m needed elsewhere. I prefer to let the animals be in their own home as they seem less stressed knowing they will be where there family will be coming back to. They have their comfortable spots and smells and doesn’t disrupt their routine but if necessary I could care for them at my home. Would walk smaller dogs on leash outside or have outdoor pens for larger dogs to get to run.

“Steve is so very sweet. Juniper is a big puppy with lots of energy and emotions. Tbh, an exhausting toddler. He has so much love to give he just explodes. Until he collapses into sweet dreaming mode😂 Steve has been so patient and understanding of family circumstances and has been so supportive. Even reinforcing training and exposure on the daily to keep Junie the bestest boy ever. I’m grateful for Steve.”

About: I grew up with dogs and cats, took care of them and have a great passion for animals. I’ve had my own pets since 2007 (2 cats and a dog). Since 2020 I have fostered animals for a local shelter including dogs, puppies as young as 6 months, and kittens as young as 5 weeks. I have basic experience in dog training. I’m currently working on a part-time contract basis so my schedule is very flexible and I would love to help you care for your pet(s). I am available daily with a set schedule to accommodate your needs. I am an experienced foster of dogs and kittens. I have a dedicated space (spare bedroom) to keep any animals separate from mine, but if they are dog and cat friendly they could be free roaming in the house when I am home. I have a cable for supervised potty time in the yard. I am experienced with crate training. I am clean and professional, respecting your space and routines in your home.
About: I grew up on the family farm surrounded by dogs and cats and all kinds of animals - caring for them was part of my life. That lifelong connection led me to volunteer at a local dog and cat shelter where I've gained even more experience with pets of all temperaments and needs. I treat every animal like a family and I willl give your pet loving care whether it's for a quick walk or an overnight stay. I have a very flexible schedule so I can fully prioritize pet care. My days naturally revolve around the animals I am caring for and I enjoy creating routine that suits their needs. My home, farm in the woods, is a dog paradise where they can relax, go for walks or play. In client's home, I'm respectful of their space and routines, I communicate with the owner, send updates and make sure the pet has all my attention.
“Regan was amazing with my puppy. She sent me multiple updates throughout the days, fed my dog, took her potty, played, etc.. while I was at work. I plan on using her again :)”

About: I have had dogs in my home for almost my whole life. I have a pug, golden retriever, and a mutt that are all a couple years apart in age. For two years, I volunteered at a humane society where I walked and cared for dogs of all kinds. Senior, puppy, sick, I have a lot of experience and I would love to get more! I’m currently working at a golf course near Forest Lake. My schedule for work comes out weekly, so I’m unaware what my weeks look like well in advance. I don’t like to do this, but if your pups are able to be home for about 6-8, then this would be a great fit! Obviously I wouldn’t work every day of the week, so I will be available to give them my full attention. Your pups are my priority and I wouldn’t want them to feel uncomfortable with my wack work schedule in any way. My shifts will either be 6-2 or 2-9, or shorter. I prioritize respect for your space and routines. Whether your pet prefers potty breaks in a fenced yard or leashed walks, I’ll follow your preferences to keep them comfortable and safe.

I’ll treat your furry friends as they were my own with love and care and a lot of playtime. I also do house keeping and anything else you need help with around the house or errands.

About: What sets me apart is that I truly care for every pet as if they were my own. Shy, anxious, or even grumpy pets don’t intimidate me—I take the time to earn their trust and help them feel safe and comfortable. I’m also experienced and comfortable caring for pets with medical needs, including administering medications and following special care instructions. Whether your pet is a playful puppy, a curious adult, or a sweet senior who needs extra patience and attention, I’ll provide the same love, care, and compassion they deserve. My goal is to make sure your pet feels happy, secure, and well cared for while you’re away, giving you peace of mind knowing they’re in loving hands. I work full time but have Wednesdays off and almost every weekend off. I also like to visit twice a day so I can check on any animal and make sure they are okay! I can fit whatever they need into my schedule also!

“Nadia was absolutely amazing. She was patient with me while booking as I had some questions. She did not hesitate to video chat and help reassure me everything would be fine with my concerns. When she actually came to walk Lumi she brought her doggy too which made my puppy feel a lot better. Nadia sent pictures, updates, and any information that would make me feel like Lumi was safe and had a great time. She also helped Lumi learn new tips during his walk. You can tell Nadia has experience with dogs of many ages.

“Valentine was great with my cat and very flexible with booking last minute. My cat is usually very shy but she warmed up to Valentine quickly! Valentine is also great with keeping you updated with pictures. I will be booking again!!”

“Melanie is amazing, super kind, and beyond accommodating. She cares about my pup just as much as I do. She’s always super responsive and sends great updates with awesome pictures. Highly recommend.”

“Amelia and Matthew took amazing care of my fur baby Klaus! They did a meet and great prior to his stay and were super friendly. I could definitely see their love for animals which made me very confident in leaving my dog in their hands. He is staying with them again in a couple weeks :) I highly recommend their services! They also kept me updated on Klaus daily with pictures which I loved. Thank you Amelia and Matthew!”

About: A dog has always been in my house growing up, except when I moved to lawrence to go to school/work. I learned to take care of dogs since I could walk. My first dog was a German Shepard. I learned how to brush, clean, feed, and exercise around 6 years old and have loved dogs ever since. From middle school until now I had a side gig of watching extended family/ friends dogs for the weekends, so I have worked with all types of dogs such as pit bulls, labs, Rottweilers, shorthairs, boxers, huskies, and I also have experience with small dog breeds such as pugs, terrors, mini poodles, and chihuahuas. So don’t worry about what breed of dog you have I am open to all kinds!
