About: I have been the "go-to" dog sitter for my circle of friends for years, and I’ve realized that the only thing better than having one dog in the house is having two (or three if you have a pair of pups!). I’m opening up my home to Rover guests primarily to provide some social fun for my own dog, Ripley. Ripley is a high-energy ball of joy who loves to play, so if you have a dog that never seems to tire out, they’ll find a kindred spirit here. Whether it's rounds of fetch, wrestling in the yard, or just having a buddy to nap with, your dog will be integrated into our daily routine. What to Expect: • Individualized Attention: Because I only sit 1 family’s dogs at a time, your dogs will get plenty of attention! • Active Days: We specialize in high-energy play. If your dog loves to move, they’ll come home happy and exhausted. • A Present Sitter: I work from home so your dogs will have plenty of face time with me! All dogs with an easy going temperament that are ready to play are welcome. I work from home so your dogs will get plenty of belly rubs and play time. I typically give Ripley a long walk (3 miles) after work that your pup is welcome to join or we can just stick to outdoor play time. I have a fenced in yard and a friendly dog that would love to play outside with your pup. I will send you daily updates and photos. I am happy to accommodate crate-trained dogs (bring your own crate) or dogs that roam a little bit more free (provided they don’t have destructive tendencies😂). About: I’ve loved animals of all kinds since I was a kid! For the last 8 years I have worked as a veterinary assistant working hands on with pets of all kinds including anxious pets, special needs pets, and geriatric pets. I’m comfortable giving medications or following specific directions for pets that need just a little more attention. I of course love pets of all ages whether that’s playing with young pets or giving older pets more accommodations. I’m currently working part-time at an animal clinic, so I’ll have plenty of time to care for your pet! I go for walks twice daily already and your pet would make a perfect addition! I live in an apartment with my 13 year old cat, Juliet. Juliet is a very sweet cat but will typically hide when other pets are boarded in the home. My apartment is located in the Volker neighborhood with parks and plenty of walking trails nearby. For in home boarding, pets are welcome on my furniture including the bed. I am happy to follow any and all requests for boarding / caretaking inside your home, including giving medications either orally or injectables.
