About: I grew up on a farm with a variety of animals. I’ve hosted many types of foster animals from the Lawrence Humane society. I am comfortable with caring for all types of animals! I work full time as a police officer. However when I am working my boyfriend is home to take care of any animals we are hosting. I am available for walks anytime Saturday, Sunday and Mondays. I can walk pets in the evenings every other day of the week. I have a fenced yard and have two crate trained, pet friendly dogs. About: Since childhood, I have enjoyed the companionship of dogs. The first family pet I knew for nearly its entire lifetime was our rescue beagle my family adopted when I was about 8 years old. I have pet sat in the past, both overnight/in-home sitting, in addition to drop in visits to feed and let dogs outside for potty time. I have experience caring for senior pets, adults and puppies. About: I have taken care of pets since I was 13 and house sat since I was 15!! I was also a kennel tech for a year! This included giving medication, bathing, feeding, and just plain old watching the pets! I know CPR for our fury friends too! I have two dogs of my own as well as four cats so I am completely comfortable with a variety. I am a college student working on my masters online while working another job as well. My schedule is pretty straight forward for me so pet care will fit well as long as I keep my calendar balanced. I am comfortable house sitting for both dogs and cats. I am more than capable of crating or letting pets out to potty. I usually keep treats on me anytime I care for a furry friend. When I walk animals, I usually go for 30 minutes to an hour so that they get the excercise needed. I also have bags for when they do their business on a walk.

Terra was so flexible when we had to make some last minute changes to her care schedule due to our kitty, Nickel, coming down with a UTI the morning we were leaving for vacation. Terra proceeded to take such great care of Nickel. She kept us regularly updated about how Nickel was doing, and sent pictures, which were so comforting to see. Nickel was not so sure about taking his meds from a new person, but Terra did a great job working with him and trying different strategies to help him. I prefer to let the animals be in their own home as they seem less stressed knowing they will be where there family will be coming back to. They have their comfortable spots and smells and doesn’t disrupt their routine but if necessary I could care for them at my home. I have experience with both puppies and elderly dog as well as cats, reptiles, birds, and farm animals. I also am open to limited contact boarding for people reacting dogs and can do crate rotation for dog reactive dogs away from mine. I work in the evenings 4 days a week so I spend the mornings/afternoons out playing with the pups then they take naps in kennels while I’m at work and we play some more when I get home. About: I've taken care of animals both big and small, in single pet households and multi-pet homes. I like to spend time getting to know each animal under my care so any walks/visits/ stays can be as fun and relaxing for the animal as possible. A majority of my pet care has been at home stays for dogs with anxiety or just need a little extra attention. I've also cared for reptiles, birds, and small mammals in addition to dogs and cats. I'm currently working part time online which allows for pet care to be a focus in my life. Depending on the pet and client, I can visit as often as needed to make sure that your pet is having the best outcome of my services. A majority of the animals I take care of stay at their own homes, so I make sure to visit often and for as long as needed for the animal to get as much enrichment out of my visit before they calm down and are ready for me to leave. This includes mealtimes, making sure their water/area is clean, playing with toys and/or enrichment activities, and cleanup before heading out. If staying in a clients home, I follow the routine of that pet as set by the owner to give as much minimal disruption as possible.
About: I have been dog and cat sitting since middle school, so 8 years now! I live in Oklahoma and go to school in Kansas and do Rover in both for half the year. I have a bigger dog and smaller cat of my own at home, but not in Kansas. I volunteer at the Lawrence Humane Society and love all types of animals! I’m currently in school but am available most hours of everyday. I don’t have many other obligations during the weekdays so I am very flexible with timing! I am willing to work with whatever the owner would like. I am definitely willing to spend the night if necessary and can let out however often you would like.

About: I grew up on a farm with a variety of animals. I’ve hosted many types of foster animals from the Lawrence Humane society. I am comfortable with caring for all types of animals! I work full time as a police officer. However when I am working my boyfriend is home to take care of any animals we are hosting. I am available for walks anytime Saturday, Sunday and Mondays. I can walk pets in the evenings every other day of the week. I have a fenced yard and have two crate trained, pet friendly dogs. I’ve fostered for years for the animal shelter so my dogs are familiar with new animals being in the home. When your pets are let out in the yard they will be monitored! I can and will send updates as requested!
