“We dropped our dogs on our way out of town Thursday morning and returned for them Sunday evening. I appreciated Destinee's flexibility with our pick-up time (I had initially booked for the following morning but it made more sense for us to pick them up on our way through as we were heading south to Bloomington - our timing was a bit later than she would have preferred but she graciously worked with us). We received photos of the dogs both inside the house and outside in the backyard on the first three days of care, and a written description of how they were doing on the first day. The home and yard seemed nice and I really appreciated not needing to bring bowls/ beds/ extra items as she provides everything. The only tips I would have for a better "pet parent" experience would be to be more consistent with writing about how each day went, and possibly showing off some of the house/yard upon drop off. Since we don't live close by, a meet and greet or advance tour wouldn't have made sense for us anyway. I feel like our dogs were in good hands with Destinee and her husband. Thanks again for a great stay!”

“So thankful for Rachel and how much she and her family loved on our big big boy for his first time staying away from home. So communicative and sent photos and videos. He’s a literal giant and they were patient with his massive teenage self!”

“Everything was great. I appears that my dog Jake like it there. He got a lot of attention. It also appears that Sheila and her husband enjoyed having Jake at their house for six overnights. Sheila sent me a lot of pictures and kept me informed about how Jake was doing. Sheila said that she primarily takes small dogs, but that she will occasionally take a big dog like Jake (Lab), as long as the big dog is well behaved. I believe that Jake was well behaved at her house. I will have to check with Sheila to see if she will take him again in the future.”

“Gus loves staying with Marilyn-so much so that we tell him it’s time to go see Auntie Marilyn! We always know she will give him love and attention and we can rest assured knowing he will be a happy boy in her care. Marilyn is a true blessing!”

“Well, my puppy was very happy when we picked her up and exhausted, which is what I wanted. It was hard for me not being able to physically see where the dogs hang out but they have so many good reviews, and they sent me pictures which was awesome. And again my pup was very happy when I picked her up we’re gonna give it another try thanks again.”

“Molly had a great time at Brooke and Bryan's. Communication was great with daily updates and pictures. I felt very comfortable leaving Molly with them for the week. Highly recommend!”

“Nicole took our dog very last minute and was so flexible with our timing. Her family took our dog into their home and treated him as their own! She is our go to when we need someone to watch our dog! We love the daily communication and pictures/videos she sends! We will be booking with her again soon!”

“Amazing experience. Nico received constant attention, care, and love the entire time he stayed there. I also received lots of pictures, videos, and updates throughout the stay, which gave me a lot of peace of mind. It was clear that they genuinely cared about him and treated him like their own dog. It’s hard to find people you fully trust with your dog, but I felt completely comfortable knowing Nico was in such good hands. HIGHLY RECOMMEND, and I’ll definitely use them again in the future.”

“Samantha was the best dog border we've ever had! Our dog is 16 years old and has a few special needs. Samantha managed his care SO well! We were gone for 12 days, and each day Samantha sent us pics and videos! We could see that he was not only well-cared for, but also happy. Our dog took to Samantha, her family, and her dog so well, we thought he might not want to come home again. Thankfully, he was happy to come home. :-) We hope to ask Samantha to care for him again when we travel.”

“Nicole was excellent with our dog Prime. He is a larger very excitable dog and we always are concerned when finding a new sitter. But, Nicole was able to calm him and take him on walks. The pictures she sent during his stay showed a happy and content dog. We recommend Nicole highly and will definitely book again.”

“Sharon did an amazing job with my boy Dave! He was well cared for and and very happy when I picked him up. Her communication and daily pics were on point. I couldn't ask for a better sitter and will use again!”

“Tori and Shasta sermed to have a great time with Nichole and family. We were nervous about leaving them as neither have boarded before. We thought Tori would be fine but she is a senior with some health issues. She did great and the picturrs we rrceived during her stay showed her doing her thing and I could tell she was happy and content. Shasta can be very energetic and though she is a sweet girl, she can be triggered into fear aggrrssive mode. She did great with no reported episodes, pics showed her interacting with Nichole. She also made friends and played with some other dogs there. We are so relieved and happy with our experience. Kudos to Nichole, husband, and the furbabies there. THAN YOU!!!”

“Stacy was wonderful with our dog Cali and we could tell when we picked her up, she had had a great time! Stacy was very communicative and sent us daily pictures, which made our time away from Cali a little easier. We are so thankful to Stacy and we would highly recommend her for your fur baby :)”

“Marilyn is very kind and easy to work with. She gave frequent updates. When our pup hurt himself she took such great care of him, and even took him to our vet herself. We were so grateful for her wonderful care.”

“Our dogs loved staying at Lauren’s! She took great care of them both and always sent pictures and frequent updates. Our dogs loved playing with her dogs and running in her fenced in yard. We will definitely rebook!!”

“Kamela was a very kind dog sitter. She recognized Max's habits quickly and I'm sure he felt comfortable with Kamela and her family. She sent me pictures and updated me daily on Max's activities. I am very satisfied with our first booking with Kamela, and I'm sure I will book with her again in the future.”

“Wonderful care for my two pups while on vacation. I could tell by the updates and pics Julie sent me that my boys were happy and comfortable. So appreciative of your communication and flexibility.”

“Jacklyn is fantastic! She is so sweet and truly cares about all of the pups she cares for. She sent regular updates with tons of pictures and even videos - which I really enjoyed. She has a huge fenced-in yard where my pup got to explore and play all throughout his stay. I highly recommend Jacklyn! I will definitely be booking again!”

“Visiting family for the holidays. It was nice to know Lily was being well taken care of. Caption the photos became a daily game everyone looked forward to. Thanks so much.”

About: I am currently volunteering at a cat rescue in Indianapolis. My volunteer work consists of adoptions, cleaning cages, litter boxes, nail clipping, and playing with them! I have experience with giving cats baths; only if really needed. I have had cats in my life for as long as I can remember.

“Jessica was wonderful with my 2 cats! She is super friendly and my cats walked right up to her to say hi. She sends detailed updates with lots of pictures. She is super communicative which is good for this anxious cat mom! I plan to use her again when traveling in the future.”

“Stacey was great and very thorough! We were able to cover everything together beforehand. Even though my shy cat didn’t come out on the visits, she still made a great effort to talk to him and let me know how he was doing!”

About: I’ve had pets my whole life, and when I started living on my own I realized they’re more important than I ever realized. I have a rescue pup who is very nervous but sweet. I am a graduate student in the home stretch of my degree, and I can use the money and the reason to get out of the house. I have a fenced in yard and a crate trained dog. I’m always good about on time flea/tick/heartworm and yearly vaccinations, as well as being educated in dog distress signs and illness signs.

“Maja is the best! We left our kitties in her care for 9 days. We’ve never left them for more than 3 so we were a little nervous about how they would do. Her detailed notes and updates were very reassuring and she captures the cutest pics! Thank you Maja, from our kitties and us <3”

“Marilyn was fantastic! We had a last-minute emergency change our holiday plans, and Marilyn was so flexible to help us out in a difficult situation! She was responsive, and our babies seemed to open up to her pretty quickly (which is rare).”

About: I worked at a cat cafe for 4 years, and have been working at a small-animal veterinary clinic for the past 2 years. I’ve provided pet sitting many times over the last 6 years, and am currently working towards my master’s degree in animal science and behavior. I’m well-rounded in proper animal husbandry, medication administration— from pills to insulin injections— nutrition, and animal behavior. My goal is to eventually become certified for training, but I do already know basic behavior modification techniques. I’m regularly taking care of animals, from my personal pet to the animals at my veterinary job. I love and treat every animal like they’re my own, yours included! I am very patient when it comes to animals. If your cat is slow to warm up to me, I will give them their space and wait for them to come to me for pets and play. If your dog is wanting to take their time to smell around outside, I will give them that sensory enrichment. I am an advocate for animal welfare, so I will ensure your pet is as happy as possible while you’re gone!

About: I’ve taken care of cats since I was a little girl. I have experience taking care of neighbors and family members pets. This involves feeding, watering, giving medications out, and playing with them. We’ve got extra space for your cat if they want to separate themselves for a time and take a nap. Our home can be your beloved pets home away from home.
About: My family and I used to run an animal transport business, taking pets from shelters to their new permanent home. I grew up around rotties most of my life, but I am comfortable around all pets. I work full time afternoon hours, but on my free time I love helping with my own pets at home and would love to work with others. Walking them, giving them baths and feeding them. I also love playing tug of war or fetch as long as weather allows too. Just watching pets play to.
“Taylor was great with my cat over Thanksgiving. They got along from the first meeting. I’m grateful that Taylor took the time to play with my cat and send me detailed updates with photos. Highly recommended!”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was 7. I was the kid trying to save injured animals. I’ve worked at a pet boarding daycare where I walked dogs, cleaned up after them, and played with them. I also graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Biology in which I worked very closely with animals including classes such as animal behavior, animal physiology, animal anatomy, animal psychology, ect. My main focus and animal I chose to work with was dogs as I knew I would eventually become a full time animal caregiver one day. I have a huge love for animals. I would love to help people care for their animals knowing that their pet is in great hands. I am currently a stay at home mom with 2 kids. I have a 6 month old and a 19 month old. With that being said, I am at home most of the time. I will follow the instructions given to me by the client when entering their home or when caring for their pet. I have a big fenced in backyard for the pets to run around in.

“Mindy did a great job caring for all my cats! She took the time to learn which cats enjoy attention and which prefer some space. One of my cats has some eye issues; Mindy gave her extra attention and kept her eyes clean.”

About: I have two cats currently. The eldest is 9 and is an indoor/outdoor cat. I have experience with wound care and giving medicine from issues he has had from being outside. I also can trim nails and brush teeth. I have no issues with kitty litter duty and cleaning if needed.

“Bennie had such a good day with Destinee! We did a daycare to see in hopes that he did well so we can have him stay with Destinee while we are on vacation. Destinee’s communication was amazing and she was so sweet! It was easy to tell Bennie loved her and felt comfortable in her home. We’ve already rebooked for a sleepover to make sure he’s comfortable overnight as well.”

“Jackson was great! We’ve never used rover before but had a great experience with him. The dogs loved him and he was easy to talk to. We felt super comfortable leaving our pups in his care. We will come back to him again and again!”

“Marilyn is great and very trustworthy. She took such good care of my puppy and able to give her the attention she needs. Will definitely be using her in the future and thankful that I found her!”

“Pete always enjoys staying with Sheila! I know he is well taken care of. I think he has even finally almost learned how to retrieve a ball...due to another dog at Sheila's house being obsessed with this game. Pete also enjoys watching for squirrels in the backyard.”

“Omg, Ian loves it here and will be coming for many more to come. Mary had informed me that he had found a favorite quiet spot on the bed and was content there and happy. He loves being with other dogs and in her environment.”
“Andrea was wonderful. She was super accommodating and sent lots of pictures to us throughout the day. I would be happy to book with her again if we come through the Indianapolis area in the future.”

About: I have two dogs of my own, Kirby 3 years old (mix of we aren't sure) and Jerry 8 years old (Yorkshire terrier) and I have many foster dogs in and out of my home as I work with a local rescue to save dogs from the shelter and unwanted homes. People say I'm an "animal person" because I like all animals...even snakes :) I have a very flexible schedule and am available most times of the day and each day of the week. I usually prefer dogs to have a harness rather than a collar just for safety of the pet. I will enjoy getting to know the pets in my community! Please let me know if you have any specific questions about the care I can provide.
“Nicole and her family are the best. We have been bringing Pearl here about a year and a half now. She was able to get me booked last minute this weekend. Like, within the hour last minute. We love having a great place to take Pearl and not have to worry about her!!”
“I dropped off Oz, our 6 year old, curious, mischievous and playful Husky-Keeshond, at Laura’s house for daycare and as well a surprise overnight boarding and he loved it!! He was good and tired from playing all day with other dogs and walking in the park and to top it all off the photo updates on the dog’s activities throughout the day were awesome!! My wife and I just wish we had found out about her sooner!! We will definitely consider her our first option the next time we need daycare, boarding or or the next time Oz just needs a day of fun!”

“Sharon was fantastic! Appears my dogs never even missed us! Ideal arrangement for us to have her watch them while we visited with a friend and her husband when passing through Indianapolis on our way to Wisconsin from our home outside Nashville, TN. Thank you Sharon! I highly recommend others use Sharon if wanting a loving home your pets can stay at when not able to accompany you. I have one dog around 60 lbs and other around 20 lbs. both rotten so loving care is what I want when needing an alternate care arrangement. Sharon met our needs! Now back on the highway.”

“AMAZING! Spectacular! There isn’t a word to express how amazing Jason and Tania are! Kona was treated like a king :) Tania sent the best pictures and always let me know how Kona was feeling. She communicated every concern and showed how much she loves what she does. After a few walks she figured out his likes and dislikes and just let my pup do his thing whether that was rolling in the grass and just chilling or watching all the squirrels. Kona also LOVED Tania, you could tell by the pictures. I was always at ease knowing that Kona was being cared for so wonderfully. Not only are the best people ever, they are also extremely flexible and are amazing communicators. When ever I had a last minute walk needed or a change in schedule they were eager to help make that change. They will be Kona's number one choice for walks for life. ❤️”

“Courtney has been absolutely amazing with our dog Bia. She has accommodated last minute requests. Her communication is excellent during scheduling requests and walks. Most importantly Bia loves her! Highly recommend.”

About: Hi there! I'm a lifelong animal lover with over 42 years of experience caring for both dogs and cats. From playful puppies to senior pets, I’ve handled it all—including administering medications and providing calm, attentive care for animals with special needs. Before joining Rover, I ran a professional pet transport business, so I understand just how important it is to keep pets safe, comfortable, and stress-free—whether they're at home or on the move. I specialize in caring for cats and dogs under 75 pounds and treat every pet as if they were my own. My schedule is fairly flexible with a little advance notice, and I'm committed to providing dependable, compassionate care that gives pet parents peace of mind. Whether you need drop-in visits, walks, or pet sitting, I’m here to help you and your furry family members feel at ease. My schedule is fairly flexible with a little advance notice, and I'm committed to providing dependable, compassionate care that gives pet parents peace of mind. About: When I was a kid, I helped my grandfather on his horse farm and would take care of the barn cats. Since then, I have lived in a 3 cat household where two of the cats did not get along and created a schedule so they could both be happy. I can bathe a pet myself if needed, as I have done this for my cat Juniper. My grandparents have two smaller dogs Ginger and Cleo I have cared for for a few days. We have fun taking walks and exploring nature. For bigger dogs, when I was in high school, I would help with the neighbors' Bernese mountain dog Abby, and I have spent a lot of time with my aunt A's doodle Bruno. I have also spent time with medium size dogs, as my aunt B has two pitbull mixes, that are very affectionate and love the dog park. I know that all dogs have different needs and I try to met them. This means that with my uncle’s older pup we won’t do any jogging, but with my aunt’s younger doodle we will definitely jog a bit. I work in education and currently have my days free to spend with furry friends. This means I can be flexible when it comes to pet sitting and spending the night. I am a very friendly, clean, and organized person and I’ll make sure that if I am coming over to your home that food is served and any accidents are cleaned up. As long as you give me a list of what needs to happen for your furry friend, I’ll make sure it gets done. From crating your pup to tricking your pet to take their medication For pups, I will ensure they’ll get the amount of walks needed a day, as well as some outdoor playtime with whatever games they like to play. I will make sure that there is no poop left on our path and check to make sure there isn't anything concerning. Plus, I will feed them according to their schedule. For cats, I will ensure that they get two square meals a day and that their water is never empty. I will also pet and play with them as much as they desire because some cats are more recluse than others. I will also scoop out their litter box, and clean out the litter box if needed
About: I have over 20 years of experience loving and caring for my own and others pets. I live in the Beech Grove area with my two pets.....Oliver, a Pembroke Welsh Corgi and Sully, a tuxedo kitty I just adopted this year. I offer morning, mid day and evening visits which will include feedings, walks and playtime. I do not do overnights unless there is an emergency situation, like a pet illness. I also require a meet and greet with you and your pets before commiting to any services. I feel this is best for all involved to be comfortable. I am self employed and make my own work hours around taking care of pets and pets are my passion and my love, so they come first! I make periodic visits to your home based on your needs and wants. Usually 3 times a day. Morning, mid day and evening. During those visits, they will be fed and given fresh water and have a potty break and go for walks. Playtime and love is free!

About: I have taken care of my own dogs and others dogs reliably since I was 16. I'm twenty six now and definitely unafraid to help with furry friends. I enjoy animals and am not afraid of dogs in the slightest. The biggest animal I have cared for was a horse so I feel pretty confident in my ability. I'm currently transitioning from a school job into the summer. So my time is very flexible and I'm available most days of the week. I'm not picky on the day people need me I just want to make sure I have enough of a heads up to properly schedule my days in advance. I enjoy playing and entertaining myself and the animals through it. I thoroughly enjoy active dogs and would enjoy getting to know yours. Don't get me wrong though old yeller can sit on the couch if needed I'll make sure the couch potatoes get some love too. If breakable are in the house which is in most cases. I prefer to play with the dogs outside if possible. I like knowing the dogs food schedules if they need fed to ensure they don't lose their eating cycle habits.

About: I’ve been around all types of dogs my whole life, from puppies to seniors. Along with house sitting for family and friends, I have worked in a kennel and with shelter animals. I am also heading towards a career working with animals! I am working part time, but am flexible with my schedule. I am always available afternoons and nights on weekdays and weekends. I can also make mornings work if needed! I have an anxious boy at home who is not great with other animals, so caring for pets in their home would work best for me. I can follow instructions down to the letter and am adaptable to any schedules in place!
About: I have a 4 year old golden retriever named Cloud! I adopted him when he was four months old. I take care of him everyday and he is my best friend. I am currently a full time graduate student and babysit every Friday! I don’t work on days I have class so I have free time after classes during the week and on weekends! I love taking my dog on long walks! I have a lot of experience with babysitting so I feel comfortable in others homes. I treat every pet like they are my own!!!

“Garrett and his girlfriend were such lifesavers for watching harvey while I was gone. It was the longest I've left him before but I felt so comfortable the whole time knowing he was happy and safe. They kept me updated with photos and videos the whole time!”

“Leah is so great with our pup Mia. She watches Mia while we are at work & just did an overnight stay for a weekend we were away. Leah follows directions perfectly & is so trustworthy. She sends pics throughout the day & is always on time! We highly reccomend Leah, she's our go to pick to hang with Mia!”

“Laura was amazing. She sent multiple pictures every day which helped put my mind at ease. Also, we were ghosted by our sitter the day we were to leave for vacation. My husband got to their door to drop our dog off and no one answered. He waited for 45 minutes to no avail. I sent Laura a message and she called me within minutes. She was very willing to help. She saved our vacation!”

“Dayana did an amazing job with our two dogs while we were away for four days. She sent daily updates with videos. Our dogs had a lot of fun playing with her dog too!”

“My dog had an amazing time! Very kind and so flexible with last minute booking and travel complications. Definitely recommend and I am sure my Hermit is looking forward to his next play palace visit!”

“Couldn’t ask for a better sitter than Kelsey for our cat. We received daily updates and fun pics and Kelsey also went above and beyond to keep our spoiled cat comfortable with her usual habits 😄. I’m happy to recommend Kelsey to anyone and I hope she will always be available when we need care for Rain.”

“Bowen was communicative and very reliable. My dog has behavioral issues (severe separation anxiety and reactivity) and I’m hesitant to send him off, but Bowen made me feel very comfortable. Bowen even provided me extensive information around how I could help his anxiety as we continue training. He was extremely happy and showed no signs of stress (he typically does) when he returned to me. I will definitely use Bowen again and would highly recommend!”
