I have been involved with rescuing, transporting and fostering dogs through several rescues, including "Key to Happiness" rescue which rescued and healed many homeless and injured dogs and found them new forever homes. My approach to pet sitting is to make the animal as comfortable and happy as possible, depending on what that particular pet needs the most. Some need petting and cuddles and some need playing and activity or both. It is stressful when their family is away and I make sure to become their friend. I am not there to correct behaviors but to give them the love and security that they're missing with out their family. I also have had folks come in and look after my beloved pets when going out of town and I know that it feels a little odd with someone coming into your home. For that reason I treat your home with the utmost respect. I don't go into any rooms with doors closed and do not help myself to anything that you have not specified. I check and double check all door locks and gates and am familiar with alarm codes. Your keys stay on my keychain at all times until they returned to you. I'm a mature and stable homeowner in the area with stellar local references. I taught my own personal dog how to walk properly, sit, lay, stay, spin, to say his prayers, as well as many more when I had him! I enjoy any and every animal and breed I also have a few snakes. I request to meet the dog with the owner prior to any commitment to ensure they are comfortable with me. I took off house sitting temporarily due to past houses being unlivable. Anything else you would like to know, I am an open book, please feel free to ask! I currently work full time from home as well as dog training once a week as of now. My husband also works from home so someone is available to monitor at all times! My work schedule will be changing soon, however should have the time to do drop by visits if near by. I have two friendly and playful dogs that could be entertaining, but also know how to be patient when necessary. I also have a baby gate to separate pups, if need be. I also have two cats that joined our family that see dogs as other cats. They will end up playing with your dog by the end of their stay, guaranteed!
