“Jordan took such care to make sure Patches felt comfortable and safe. She took her time to integrate her into the household, and then sent me pictures every night with her and Jordan's pup as well as her kid. Patches will skip meals when her routine is disrupted, and Jordan went out of her way to correspond with me and encourage her to eat. Very caring, organized, and accommodating. Highly recommend.”

“I highly recommend Nancy and Mark. We received updates including pictures throughout Bailey’s stay with them. I could tell Bailey was comfortable the first time she met them. We will definitely use them again.”

“Mary and Marty were such amazing sitters for my dog Leo! He had a great little vacation being doted on by them♥️ Mary was incredibly responsive and sent lots of adorable photos. You could tell they gave him lots of loving attention. I felt very comfortable leaving my little guy in their hands. He got all of his food and medication, and was very calm and happy when I picked him up. 10/10 recommend and will be rebooking. Thank you!”

“Meredith did a great job with my two girls! I was a little concerned at first, not sure if she could handle my 10 month old German Shepherd, Jream, but overall, she did very well even without having a fenced yard. My girls still got a full hour of playtime in a nearby fenced area where they were able to run and play ball freely. Meredith followed all my instructions, and I would definitely use her again.”

“Our dog Moxy was very happy with her stay for eight days, and so was I. I received messages and pictures day with updates. The large fenced yard allowed Moxy to play run, and she also liked that she had another dog to play with who was staying at the same time. Highly recommended!!”

About: I’ve been surrounded by animals my entire life, and dogs have always had a special place in my heart! Growing up, my family had dogs, horses, goats, chickens, cats, birds, fish—you name it. Caring for animals has always been second nature to me, and over the years I’ve become the go-to pet sitter for friends and family whenever they go on vacation. I understand that every dog is unique, whether they’re full of energy and love long walks or prefer cuddles and a relaxing day at home. My goal is to make your pup feel safe, loved, and comfortable while you’re away by keeping their routine as normal as possible. You can expect plenty of playtime, belly rubs, potty breaks, and lots of love and attention. I treat every dog as if they were my own and will keep you updated so you can enjoy your time away with peace of mind, knowing your furry family member is in good hands! I currently work full-time from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM and have an hour commute each way. Because of this, I offer boarding for pets who are comfortable being alone for an extended period during the workday. I am fully available on weekends and can dedicate plenty of time to your furry family members! I also offer evening dog walks and drop-in visits after work. Please feel free to reach out if you have any questions about my schedule or your pet’s specific needs—I’m happy to accommodate whenever possible! Your pet will be welcomed into a safe, loving home away from home! I live in a top-floor apartment with carpeted stairs and plenty of windows, perfect for curious pups who love to look outside and watch the world go by. There’s also a private dog park directly across the street from my complex, giving your dog a great place to play and burn off some energy. My neighborhood is quiet and pet-friendly, making it ideal for long walks and plenty of sniffing adventures. I make sure every pet gets lots of attention, playtime, potty breaks, and, of course, treats (with owner approval!). My goal is to make your pet feel comfortable, loved, and cared for while you’re away, treating them like part of my own family.

“Shawne was great! She took care of our Winston for us over a long weekend and tolerated the fact he didn't like her kitties so much! He was a bit anxious at her house the first night, and she changed his surroundings and got him settled down for the 2nd night. I appreciate her watching our anxious boy!”

“Moppet really enjoyed his time with Bernice and playing with the other dogs his size in Bernice's beautiful back yard. He is looking forward to spending Thanksgiving with her and Cheddar. Bernice sent several pictures of him. Not only did he look happy and playful, but she actually got some really good pictures of him! (When I get out my phone to take pictures of Moppet, he turns his back to me like he doesn't want his picture taken.)”

About: I've grown up living with dogs and have been the primary trainer for my family's dogs. I do pretty well working with new pets and can handle full size dogs. I'm an engineer who gets home from work around 4 or 5PM. My weekends are empty 3/4 weekends a month. I can do overnights on Sunday and during the work week if your dog is used to being alone 9-5. I have a small yard, and live next to the beach. I typically walk my dog to the beach 2-3 times a day on the weekend and she swims often. I usually use a harness to walk dogs, never leave them unattended outside since I have no fence. Make sure they have food twice a day and water always full.
“It’s so cute to see my Chaseypoo interact with Amia and Joshua, the kids and their pups. They adore her and she comes home happy and tired and ready for a nap.”

“Najah was so great with Kash. So much so, he didn't act like he wanted to leave her. She kept me updated on his behavior and how ge was doing the entire time with texts & photos. I will definitely be boarding with Najah again.”

“My little Delilah felt right at home when we had our Meet and Greet. I had no concerns about leaving her with Madelyn after that. She was still excited to see me when I picked her up, but not so excited that I worried she wanted to leave and had a bad time. I have no doubts that Delilah was well cared for while I was away!!”
About: I've been taking care of dogs & cats my entire life. I have experience as a vet assistant. Animals are my passion and not only do I love providing a loving home for my animals but I also know how hard it is to balance work and life in general when you have pets so I want to be able to care and help you with your fur babies as well! I'm currently only working part time so I have a lot of free time to care for your fur babies ! My schedule is pretty open so on my days off I can take last minute requests . I also enjoy being outdoors even if it's just sitting in the backyard with the dogs I have a fenced in yard with a loving yellow Labrador ! Your pup will have fun and will stay safe with plenty of exercise! I do not go on walks without a leash or without your consent.

“Madison did an amazing job taking care of our cats while we were out of town. She is kind, respectful, responsive and responsible! She sent pictures and updates and even brought in our packages. My cats were well taken care of and the litter box was obviously thoroughly cleaned each time.”

“Melanie is the best! It is the first time using her services to care for our cats and she did a great job. She is kind, punctual and professional and most importantly, was great with each of our 3 cats who have 3 very different personalities. Will definitely be calling upon her for future care visits.”

“Grace is wonderful! She did amazing with our cat and took great care of our apartment. She provided fun visit reviews with cute pictures too! We’ve already booked her for more drop-in’s, so we highly recommend her to anyone. Thank you so much!”

“Julie took such great care of our kitties, was right on time everyday, and loved on them just as much as we do. Now my only fear going on vacation is they'll want her to be their momma. Highly recommend Julie to care for your fur babies.”

“Lauren was very responsive and took many photos during her drop-in visit with my dog. It made me feel so much better knowing my dog was able to stretch his legs while I was away. Thank you so much!!”

“Laylani is amazing! Our pup LOVED her. She was dependable and caring and I felt so much better about being away. The communication and pictures were so reassuring and my kids excitedly awaited her reports. Highly recommend (just not on the days I need her 😂)!”

“This was my first time using Rover or someone I didn’t know to take care of my cat. I was very nervous. Megan was excellent. She was available at very short notice & did a great job with a very fussy cat. I will definitely look to her again should I need someone to look after my girl. She even went through some extreme weather to make sure my pet was fed. She was dedicated.”

“Chyanne was amazing! She really took her time to understand our cats personalities and the things that make them unique. She kept our home clean, scooped the litter boxes, fed our cats treats, groomed them, and played with their favorite toys. We will definitely be rebooking with Chyanne and you should too!”

“Cole is an incredible and responsible dog sitter that I can trust my pets with. My dogs are very nervous and need some time to adjust to people, especially men, but Cole has went the extra mile to make sure my dogs feel happy and are properly cared for when I can’t be there. He is always quick to respond, easy to work with, and gentle with all my animals. You can tell he truly loves animals and and he has been nothing but kind and professional. About: Your sweeties are in caring hands 💛 ✅ Experience with pets of all ages & personalities. ✅ Work from home: Attentive to strict care plan. ✅ Happy to assist with training/manners 🐾. As a pet owner of 35 years and a life-long animal lover, I’ve cared for my own puppies, kittens, and elderly pets over the years. Their quirky personalities have brought nothing but joy to our home! I’ve also cared for exotic littles such as snakes, bearded dragons, hamsters, gerbils, chameleons, ferrets, parakeets, Sun Conure Parrots and farm animals (chickens, pigs, horses, “farm sitting”)! Don’t hesitate to ask if you need additional help. We have 2 dogs of our own: One loves to socialize and play with our guests, while the other usually searches for the sunniest window in the house, to nap until the next potty/treat break. Working from home allows me to be attentive to strict potty/medication and walk/play schedules (if your pet is in need of a regimented care plan). I offer drop-in play dates, walks, back-yard potty/play dates and feeding/litter changes, based upon your instruction. I’m also able to host your pets in my home, if you need a sitter. Before booking boarding services with new clients, I request a meet & greet, so that I can get to know everyone and have a clear understanding of your pet’s personality and needs 😁!

“They were readily available and accomodating despite of our short notice. Our dog seems to be at home at their place and felt relaxed. We'll definitely book with them again.”

About: Got a cavalier when kids left 20 years ago and have been in love with and taken care of pups for family and friends ever since! I work part time as a sub at a local school lunchroom. Consequently, I have a good deal of time to do what I enjoy most, spending time with and caring for pups!! (and on occasion, cats!) I live in a lovely neighborhood with a nice balance of open space and paths for walks. My husband (also a dog lover) and I have a fenced yard and pup bowls and leashes and toys and even a small crate (from Harley) if your pup feels better taking a nap in it! (and he fits!)
“Shannon and her family were incredible with our pup. She came home happy and tired each day. We felt very comfortable leaving Lola with them and we got regular updates. Her kids and Lola became the best of friends! Thank you so much again for caring for her!”

About: I enjoy having dogs, and started using this website when I went out of town. Because of this, I know the high standard of care I expect from my sitter, and what you should expect too. I will take the time and care you would for your own dog. I'll give them snuggles, playtime, and lots of outside time depending on the crazy weather we have here of course. Myself and my doggy friends love to take walks, play tug-of-war, fetch and other games your dog enjoys or might enjoy. If your dog comes to our house we have a fully enclosed backyard. It is a great big yard enough to play fetch with a few dogs at the same time. Some just like to sun bathe and watch everyone else run around. Your dogs will have so much fun, and will be well loved while they are here. When my doggie friends come back for a visit the owners tell me the dogs are excited when they turn down my street. I have a Yorkie named Jack, and 3 mini Bernedoodles named Elenor, Dahlia, and Franklin. I am not taking unneutered or unspayed dogs at this time. I have lots of available hours to spend with your pets. My schedule is consistent usually, but fairly open. In the past, I was walking dogs. Not sure if I am going to start doing that or not. I have a fenced in yard and 4 dogs to keep your dog company. We can play in the yard or hang out in the house. I have lots of toys and balls.

About: Dogs have always been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. Currently, I care for two of my own—Sparky, my sweet 13-year-old Bichon Frise, and Shelby, my playful 1-year-old Miniature Goldendoodle. Having both a senior dog and a young, energetic pup has given me a wide range of hands-on experience, from managing health needs and gentle senior care to keeping up with puppy energy, training, and teething phases. In the past, I also cared for an American Pitbull Terrier for 5 years, and over the years I’ve looked after many dogs for friends, neighbors, and family members. Some of the breeds I’ve worked with include Chihuahuas, Beagles, Golden Retrievers, Pomeranians, and a variety of lovable mixes. Every dog is unique, and I truly enjoy getting to know each one’s personality and quirks. Whether they’re shy or outgoing, young or elderly, I’m patient, gentle, and always happy to provide the care and attention they deserve. I’m usually available Monday through Friday, which means I have plenty of time throughout the day to walk, play with, and care for your pup. Whether they need a midday stroll, some company while you’re away, or just a little extra love and attention, I’m happy to be there for them. I’m home often, so I’m able to keep a close eye on the dogs and make sure they’re always safe and cared for. While my yard is open and unfenced, I never leave dogs outside unattended—they’re always on a leash and supervised, with access to a sunny, enclosed sunroom for extra comfort. For smaller dogs, I have a crate available if preferred by the owner, and I’m also able to provide transport in case of a vet emergency. My home is stocked with cozy blankets and toys that are always available for dogs to borrow and enjoy. Located in a quiet, beautiful area, the home offers plenty of space to explore, bird- and squirrel-watching opportunities, and nearby parks for peaceful outings. The spacious living room and multiple rooms allow for safe separation if needed, ensuring every dog feels comfortable. Most of all, your pup will enjoy peace, safety, and lots of love while in my care.

About: I’m new to Rover, but a lifelong dog lover. My first best friend was a yellow Lab named Candy, who slept at the foot of my bed every night. Today, I share my life with two Chesapeake Bay Retrievers who are truly my fur babies. I’m a mom to two teenage daughters and a small business owner in Chesterton. I’m very active and regularly take my own dogs on long walks and runs at Coffee Creek, so I’m happy to walk, jog, or play with your pup—or stop by for cuddles and treats while you’re at work. I’ve volunteered with animal shelters over the years and am pet CPR certified, so your dog will always be in caring, capable hands! Im a small business owner that is primarily weekend based, this leaves me a flexible weekday schedule that allows me to give your pets reliable exercise and attentive care and on a regular basis if needed. I am happy to check in with your dogs or cats, feed, cuddle and give them anything needed during a visit. I’m responsible and mature.
“Sharon was so amazing with Billie. A true dog whisperer. Billie has never had a dog walker come into the house before and turns out she is quite the guard dog. Sharon had met her at a meet & greet but Billie was scared when she came back alone. But Sharon charmed her with some treats and skritches and her sweet demeanor with animals, and now, after a couple of walks, they are besties. We appreciate Sharon’s extraordinary talent with animals. Her persistence and kindness won over our nervous furbaby and allowed us to be with family during a difficult time. We have already rebooked Sharon and Billie hopes this will be a long-term friendship!”

““Megan was fantastic! She was very polite, knowledgeable about dogs, and really listened to all my needs and concerns. We truly appreciated her punctuality—it made my surgery week a bit easier and less stressful.””

“She is awesome!! Very punctual, professional and kind. My puppy warmed up to her really quick. So much that she will definitely be missed. I do recommend her, and Yes we will be using her services again if she's available. 🙂”

“Alexis was absolutely fantastic taking care of my baby Luna! Luna is only 6 months old, has a lot of energy, is not fully trained and I'm sure was a handful for someone to walk in day-one and manage, But she did above and beyond. She brought toys and puzzles, made sure Luna was fed and properly walked. She updated me on how the walks went, when she arrived and left, told me about the other dogs Luna got to meet along the walks and seemed totally joyful and sincere about spending time with my sweet girl. I will be hiring Alexis over and over in the future!”

“"Brandon has watched my dog, Cookie, three times now, and each time has been fantastic. He consistently provides excellent care, ensuring Cookie is happy and well-taken care of. I couldn't ask for a better dog sitter and highly recommend Brandon for his reliable and professional service!"”

About: I've always had pets. I've had a dog every year of my life since I was born. I love their different personalities, breeds and interactions. I currently have 3 of my own, Bentley, Bailey and Scooby-Doo. Each of them is different from the other and I wouldn't change any of them. I am available currently Friday-Sunday. I have pets of my own and we play and exercise together. I love animals so much, I enjoy helping and playing with others. I have a small fenced in area for little dogs, which is where all 3 dogs of mine are. All 3 are playful and friendly.
“Angelique was wonderful to our little meatloaf while we were out of the country. She sent us many photos and kept us updated on anything new. We will definitely go with Angelique if we need a dog sitter in the future.”

“Jess was great! Very responsive with clear communication. Lucy was spoiled rotten with snuggles and outside time. Jess sent tons of pictures and kept us updated with how Lucy was getting along with her friends. She even dropped her off at our house at the end of the puppy slumber party. Highly highly recommend!”

“Tonisa was wonderful! She answered all of my questions regarding my pups stay. She made me feel very comfortable and well informed with pics and messages from the beginning all the way to the end. Tonisa & her daughter were amazing!”

“Lilliana is a pro! She anticipated every need for our pup. I really appreciate her expertise and communication while she cared for our dog. Our silver lab is nervous and Lily knew exactly how to make Daphne feel at home. I absolutely will hire her again! Thank you!”

“Bola is simply amazing and took such good care of my Sasha! She sent plenty of pics and updates throughout her stay. I could tell that my dog was happy and comfortable which made me feel at ease. I couldn’t have asked for a better boarding experience and will definitely book with Bola in the future!”

“Juliana boarded my cat Pistachio for a few days. Everything went great. She sent pictures throughout and drop off and pickup were quick and painless. Will definitely book her services again.”

“April was amazing with Korra! She had such a fun time and was clearly so loved during her stay. We got pictures and updates everyday. Again, could clearly see how much fun she was having! This was Korra first 4th of July as well, so we weren’t sure how she was going to react to the fireworks. April did an amazing job at letting us know what she had planned and how she was going to create a safe and calm environment for the dogs. We got pictures and updates on how she was doing/did. I am so glad Korra spent her first fireworks season with April. She was so well cared for. I could not recommend April more. She has so much love and care for her own dogs that she shares with other dogs. Korra is so happy to be apart of Petey’s and Shawna’s friend group!”
