I worked at a shelter while I was in high school and the hardest for me was not bringin them all to my house. I have two dogs of my own. They’re both older girls and very very laid back and friendly. I think every dog has personality of their own and that’s what is beautiful about dogs. I think taking care of dogs is more than a chore or a job, i think it’s more of passion. Anywhere I go, dogs get pets and greetings before the humans 😅 I have experience with more high needs dogs, as my own dog has digestive issues and requires prescription food, daily medication by mouth with each meal, and monthly injections. I am home and can give the attention and care your pet needs. My schedule is flexible, so I can easily fit in a walk, potty time or play time. Inside we all hang out together in the large living area, but I also have another room with a gate where a pet can go if she needs some space. About: Aside from caring for my own animals, I have dog and cat sat for friends and family in the past. I'm a huge animal advocate and lover, so much so that I am a vegetarian and have issues with the way animals are treated from slaughter houses, to puppy mills. We take 30 minute walks twice daily, morning and evening. We go to the the dog park (broad ripple or clay terrace) on Sundays. Feeding whenever convenient for the pet I’m watching, some dietetic pets need a strict timeline so we stick to that. Playtime when they are ready to play, but also an organized routine of games and training during that time. Whether I come to you or they come to me, the environment and schedule is pet friendly.

I have open availability during weekdays from 8am–1pm and 3pm–8pm, which gives me plenty of flexibility for walks, drop-in visits, feeding schedules, playtime, and giving pets the attention they need. I enjoy being active and spending time with animals, so caring for pets is something I genuinely look forward to rather than seeing as just a job. I prefer caring for pets in their own home because it allows them to stay comfortable in a familiar environment and maintain their normal routine. I make it a priority to carefully follow all instructions provided by the owner, including feeding schedules, walks, medication if needed, and any specific care preferences. I also understand how important trust and communication are, so I will provide regular updates, pictures, and check-ins while owners are away so they can feel reassured that their pet is safe, loved, and well cared for.

Because I love traveling myself, I totally know how stressful it is to leave your babies behind & how important it is to have reliable, trustworthy help you can count on. I love taking dogs on adventures, whether that’s hitting trails to burn off energy or just enjoying a long, sniff filled neighborhood walk. I have experience with all kinds of personalities from high energy pups who want to play non stop, to sweet seniors who just want a slow stroll & some good couch cuddles. I love sending lots of photo updates & making sure your dogs feel safe, happy, & loved! I have a super flexible schedule. My days are open enough that I can easily prioritize structured potty breaks & long walks, without having to rush back to a strict 9-5 desk job. In my home your pet becomes a part of the family! My place is a pet friendly environment where they can fully relax & get cozy. While I don’t have a fence, I have a massive yard with a secure lead, so the dogs can get plenty of space while staying safe. Plus, they’ll get tons of attention & plenty of couch cuddles! If I’m coming to your house for a walk or a drop in, I’ll treat your space with total respect. I’ll strictly follow whatever routine you have for feeding, crating, or locking up. I'm always mindful of the little things like wiping muddy paws if it's rainy & making sure the water bowl is totally fresh before I leave. Plus, you can definitely count on lots of fun photo updates so you know exactly how great they’re doing! Whether your pet is hanging out at my place or I’m visiting yours, making sure they feel safe and comfortable is my biggest priority.
