About: My background is in social work and I am the oldest of four kids. Growing up we always had a golden retriever as a member of our family. This last August our family said goodbye to our sweet angel, Marley. I now have a little family of my own, and my son is eager to have a furry friend around. About: I grew up with a dog and loved him very much. He passed away, and the family has not yet gotten another, but I miss caring for a dog. I love all dogs and cats of any size and any animal, for that matter. I am incredibly attentive to animals and always love giving them care, even when they are not mine. I am almost always home and able to pet sit through the day and overnight. I am currently in college, but taking classes online, so I am constantly available to tend to your pet's needs. I am a very active person who can take your pet on walks or runs more than once each day if need be. If your pet enjoys resting, I will also do it with them as I complete work on my computer and will pay close attention to them or snuggle with them if it's what they like. I will care for each pet depending on their specific needs, whether they need to have walks, use the bathroom often, or receive personal care. My home is very safe for pets, as it was already set up for a dog in the past with carpeted stairs and a yard to play in. The yard has a fence around part of it, but it is still open, so if I take your pet outside to play, I will use a leash and keep them in the yard safely separated from any danger. The only other person living in the home will be my mother, who is also an animal lover, but is generally at work during weekdays.

We love many breeds of pups but our favorite breed at the moment would be the black labs and Shiba Inu- mostly because two are a part of our family. “I’m not one to write reviews but I know how important they were when I choose Debbie and her family to care for my dog. I had so many reservations and worries but after reading great reviews and then after our meet and greet I knew I had chosen the right person. Not only did Debbie and her family care for my dog but it was clear in the pictures I received daily that he was also given so much love to the point I wondered will he want to come back home lol. In addition to caring for our dog I told them due to a back injury Chanze was never leash trained and they took the time to leash train him as they went for daily walks. In every part of his care they went above and beyond what was expected. I will definitely be using Debbie and her family for our next trip. She was super responsive, flexible, and accommodating and it was obvious she loves animals and took very good care of them. Her house is very clean with lots of places for the dogs to relax, and her fenced backyard was perfect for playtime. Highly recommend!”

From the beginning, she was super responsive and very responsible, from the meet and greet thru a few changes I needed to make after booking. She was easygoing and flexible, and made us so relaxed to leave our little guy. During the trip, she updated us daily and was very communicative. We never worried and I knew Opie was in a warm, friendly, and loving home with so many friends to play with. He came home happy and tired and clean.
