“This is our second booking with Samantha. We’ve never left our cats for an extended period and I was anxious about being gone for a whole week. But Samantha kept us up to date on our babies with photos and videos, which truly contributed to a relaxing vacation. She even sent a video from our koi pond of our fish and growing tadpoles. Our cats looked comfortable and content in the photos and videos which was so nice to see :) She was also a stellar house sitter and went above and beyond. She collected the mail, took out the garbage, and didn’t leave a single dirty dish. The temps spiked right after we left and she was able to install the ac unit in one of our rooms (freestanding unit, no lifting!) to keep our kitties cool. We’re looking forward to booking Samantha again and I think our kitties will be happy with a familiar face as well.”

To make sure our cat got along with his, he was set up in his own large room and Khurum carefully monitored his initial interactions with the two other cats, waiting until they got comfortable with each other. Khurum gave him a loud of affection while he was isolated. Then they all got along great within a day or so! Khurum was also very flexible on drop off and pick up, easy to communicate with and very quick with his responses. Overall a great cat sitting experience, we look forward to hiring him again!”

About: I have been taking care of dogs since I was 12. We have had family dogs growing up and we raised since puppies. I have also dog sat and taken care many friends/ family dogs of all ages. I was a nanny in high school and college and would take care of their dogs as well. I have experience with dog sitting/boarding up to 3 dogs at once. My days are very flexible and I will have plenty of time to feed, play with, and walk dogs at any hour on the days of the week I am available. My husband also works from home full time and loves to help out with walks/playing! We have a fenced in yard. We do not have a dog of our own so your dog will get all of the attention! We have plenty of room to fit a crate if necessary. We also have a gate to fence off the upstairs part of the house if necessary as well.

About: Hi there! I am so excited to finally be making my pet-sitting official with Rover. I am still new-ish to the area after having moved back in with my parents a little less than a year ago (originally from New Jersey, then moved to California for college and work). I have had the pleasure of taking care of my family dog (Winnie the Cavapoo) since we got her 9 years ago. Hanging out with her is one of my favorite things to do, and she truly makes each day better with every walk we go on and every cuddle we share. I've also gotten to dog-sit for some of my best friends and locals while I was in college, and it really helped me whenever I was missing my Winnie girl! My only hope is to provide you with peace of mind that your pup is in good hands with me! My schedule is pretty wide open and flexible! If there is a time/day on my schedule that looks unavailable, message me and I'll see if I can move things around to make it work (as I share a car with a family member). If you need me to come over and pet-sit at your home, I will respect all the rules you provide me with so you are comfortable with having me in your home while I watch your fur baby. Please let me know in advance to your booking if your pet is allowed on furniture, or in certain areas of your home, and what/where are absolute no-go's, so I can remember to keep them away from those areas. If you use a crate with them, please let me know how you use it with them - if they must be crated the entirety of time while indoors aside from meal and potty times, or if for certain periods of time. If you have a backyard that is fenced and secure, I am comfortable with letting them of their leash (if you permit it) so they have free reign to run around, but if it is not an enclosed space, I am not comfortable letting them off their leash, even if they are trained perfectly - just want to be safe and take all the precautions I can to make sure they are safe while with me!

“Unfortunately, our dog was very anxious and having some issues with the other dog when staying with Jeannie, so we had to cut the stay short. Rover refunded me the money for the rest of the say, and then Jeannie went above and beyond and offered to refund the remaining amount! She was so patient with us and with our dog, even though she didn't need to be. I am sad it didn't work out as I think she is a wonderful person and you can tell she really cares about the dogs she watches. I think your pet would be in great hands staying with Jeannie.”
