My two pups were staying with her this weekend, and while one of my dogs was immediately very happy there, my other dog was very reactive and anxious around her dogs (this is normal for my dog - her dogs were great). Instead of it ruining our weekend, she pivoted and was so flexible and did drop in visits with our reactive/anxious dog. In the end, both of my dogs got what they wanted - Tilly got to stay and play and Sadie got to be comfortable at home, and got individualized attention. Both dogs were well taken care of and very happy. 10/10 🥰”

About: I have had dogs my whole life. Watching family and friends dogs gives me great joy! Dogs have been a part of my whole life. I love them dearly, my sister in law travels quite often which gives me the opportunity to watch her two dogs. One is a puppy full of energy and they are so fun to spend time with and play. Love going on walks to the forest preserves out in nature. let me be your dogs new friend. I work four days a week Tuesday thru Friday until 3:30pm. I'm available for boarding Friday nights thru Monday. I can take dogs for walks on Mondays, Weekends, and Tuesday-Friday after 4. I have a big home plenty of space to run around and play. My backyard is good size and fenced in. I can update you with photos of your dog. I can maintain the feeding schedule as required. I will make sure your dog has plenty outdoor time walks or just playing in my yard.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was in my 20s. I’ve also taken care of senior dogs, so I know how to handle their special care. I’m very experienced in feeding and grooming, and I love the companionship it brings to a family! I am a stay at home mom, and my husband works from home, so there’s always someone there to watch and play with your fur baby! We always have lots of time for walking and playing throughout the day. About: I grew up with dogs, cats, bunnies, and other animals in-between! In the last 17 years, I've been a cat mom, and recently had a dog with my ex-partner (who I still care for when they're out of town). The only constant in my life has been animals, and I get such a joy out of playing with them, taking them on walks, cuddles, and seeing their personalities come out. I used to work at a pet store (back in the day), and in the last 5 years, actually helped stray dogs + cats in my neighborhood find incredible families. I know basic dog training (like sit, stay, break, etc), and I'm quick to learn whatever else you do with your dog or cat to make their time as normal as possible as you're away. I work from home during the week and can take care of walking, feeding, and socialization. I'm also a performing musician so I travel around the Chicago-land area frequently. I like to keep your pet's day as normal as possible. I understand how nerve-wracking it can be for pet parents and the pets when there's disruption in their routine, so I try to do everything as it normally is - feeding, walking, training, giving treats, etc.
“Deidre was AMAZING with my with two pups and can’t RECOMMEND her enough! Unfortunately, one of my dogs became very ill before I left for vacation and required extensive, round the clock care. Deirdre was able to administer all of the medications, stick to the strict food regimen, come by every 2 hours to check in, and even cleaned up all of the accidents from my sick pup. :/ She kept me updated throughout the trip with texts and pictures, asked questions when needed, and when my other dog sitter fell through at last minute, she was able to rearrange her schedule to cover. Overall, I am very grateful for her help and it truly put my mind at ease knowing Deirdre could be there to take care of them! Thank you again!”

About: I have worked in Veterinary medicine for over 14 years. I started out as a kennel attandant and worked by way up to become an uncertified veterinarty technicican. I started pet sitting when I was in high school for my neighbors and have done it part-time ever since. I have experience with all sorts of dog and cat behaviors. I am flexible and can accommodate for most things. I do work 4 10 hr shift right now. I am available in the early AM and late PM. I do have weekends off right now as well. Depending on the location, I can stop in on my lunch breaks if it isn't too far from my work. I will be able to do anything a pet owner asks of me. I think it is good to keep the pet's routine as close to their norm as possible when their owners are away. This helps limits the stress for the pets.

My older guy starts to shake and jump with excitement when we turn on her street, and I was worried about leaving our new puppy at home; however, with Chris' excellent love and care, they both did great. “We absolutely love having Diedre watching our dogs. My two pups were staying with her this weekend, and while one of my dogs was immediately very happy there, my other dog was very reactive and anxious around her dogs (this is normal for my dog - her dogs were great). Instead of it ruining our weekend, she pivoted and was so flexible and did drop in visits with our reactive/anxious dog. In the end, both of my dogs got what they wanted - Tilly got to stay and play and Sadie got to be comfortable at home, and got individualized attention. Both dogs were well taken care of and very happy. 10/10 🥰”

About: I have had dogs my whole life. Watching family and friends dogs gives me great joy! Dogs have been a part of my whole life. I love them dearly, my sister in law travels quite often which gives me the opportunity to watch her two dogs. One is a puppy full of energy and they are so fun to spend time with and play. Love going on walks to the forest preserves out in nature. let me be your dogs new friend. I work four days a week Tuesday thru Friday until 3:30pm. I'm available for boarding Friday nights thru Monday. I can take dogs for walks on Mondays, Weekends, and Tuesday-Friday after 4. I have a big home plenty of space to run around and play. My backyard is good size and fenced in. I can update you with photos of your dog. I can maintain the feeding schedule as required. I will make sure your dog has plenty outdoor time walks or just playing in my yard.
“I loved leaving my Yogi at JoAnne’s. She was very welcoming, anxious to make sure I was comfortable with her house and her puppy and she had a calm friendly manner. Yogi ran right in, met her dog and started playing, JoAnne sent me several very cute pictures of Yogi playing and resting, so I could see that he was having a good time. I would hire her again if she is available.”

“Rusty was a great match for our Frankie. At the meet and greet he asked many questions to get to know Frankie's personality. We left him for 10 nights and had daily pictures/movies of Frankie. Frankie is a senior and in the hot days of July his comfort was considered. It was nice to leave him in good care.”

He watched my two dogs for the weekend and was very pleased with his attention to detail prior to their stay (he asked a lot of questions to make sure that my dogs would be comfortable and keep them on their routine) and he sent pictures every day. My younger dog is very energetic but came home wiped out and relaxed- a big bonus! ☺️ It was easy to see that Kyle enjoys interacting with the dogs and takes great care of them. “Everything went well included meet and greet before boarding. My 8 month puppy Mochi enjoyed playing and get along with their dog Loki. Mr and Mrs. Ganesh took care of Mochi nicely and being patient even she had accident then tied for more often potty breaks for solution. They shared Some videos and pictures .”

Lizzo seemed very happy and comfortable at her home. She play with her two dogs, especially her sweet heart Stella. At night, Lizzo slept with Carla. We are luck to have her because Carla really went above and beyond to take care of our dog. She is very trust worthy and caring and definitely recommend her.”
