Dewey can be anxious in new settings but she was able to provide one-on-one attention that helps him adjust. She also provided appropriate stimulation such as walks, outside time and toys. This was our first experience with Rover. We’ve used boarding through our vet in the past. The experience with Rover and especially with Morgan, was so much better for us, and more importantly for Dewey!”

About: About us: I stumbled onto Rover in August 2022 after trying to think of ways to make a little extra money while working at home, full-time, and with 3 kids (approaching middle and high school) that have wanted a dog since probably before they were born. I grew up with dogs and wanted a dog too! But I also didn’t want the vet visits, food expenses…what do we do with a dog when we want to travel? Fast forward to now and dog-sitting has been a truly epic, awesome experience for all of us. By the time you read this it’s likely we will have reached triple digits of dogs that have stayed here. About: Since a child, I have been trusted to watch, walk, and care for neighbors and friends dogs. I still care for my friends and families dogs. My pup(Max) is up to date with all vaccinations, Heart Worm, Flea and Tick preventative. Please watch for symptoms, coughing, not eating, not acting normal, fever (100-103 normal) and mucus from nose. I would appreciate all guests have their Dog Flu Vaccine, please consult with your Dr. Takes 5 weeks to be good effective. My schedule is really flexible, Please let me know what time might work best for you and your furry family member. We can workout the best time for everyone. I live in an animal friendly neighborhood. My house is ranch-style house with a fenced in yard and a sun room with easy access to my backyard. I also have a friendly dog to keep your dog’s company. If your dog don’t get alone with other dogs, my house is big enough to separate them (I only host two family at a time). I will take care of each dog according to their situation and condition, such as eating time and other living habits. I will keep the owner updated with video, pictures and/or phone.

About: Hi Dog lovers! My name is Abigail and dogs have been a part of my life since I can remember. Growing up I was responsible for walking, feeding and pouring attention into our two German shorthaired pointer dogs. When my neighbors would go on vacation they would ask me to watch their four dogs and I also became the 'go to' person when their dogs would get loose in the neighborhood. Fortunately, that never happened on my watch! My current dog is a high energy Pitbull Lab mix, who thinks he is a lap dog. :) Most of the dogs I have worked with have been in the 50-60 pound range but I am comfortable with dogs of all sizes and personalities. Is your dog older? No problem, I can sit and give them lots of love or take them on a gentle walk. Is your dog high energy? Again, no problem, I have one of those of my own and I can play fetch or tug-a-war with them! I have no problem administering medicine if needed too. During the school year I work in a high school and coach swimming so my availability is from 3:30pm - 6:00pm, and anytime on the weekends. During the summer my schedule is much more flexible during the week and weekends. I consider myself a dog magnet because any time I encounter a dog, even for the first time, they like to jump on me or wiggle their butts, seeking my attention! Providing walks, belly rubs, and playing fetch are my jam. Dogs mean the world to me and I would love the opportunity to shower your fur babies with attention. During the school year, I am available 3:30pm - 6:00pm and weekends. During the summer (June & July) I have flexibility in my schedule every day. I am comfortable taking dogs to the park, walking them or playing with them indoor home/yard. If it is a high energy dog, I can also take them for a run.
About: I have had family dogs all my life. Currently I have two senior cats and two Belgian Malinois who are part of my family. We’re a very active family and enjoy being outdoors. I’m a stay at home mom which allows me to have a flexible schedule, unless I have appointments for the kiddos. I’m part time military so I won’t be available those weekends but I’ll let you know in advance 🫶 I’m a stay at home mom and a weekend warrior, iykyk. Availability is open unless I’m scheduled for drill and I’ll give an advanced notice or if I have appointments scheduled. I’ll follow your instructions to the T. My dogs have taught me a lot about dog behaviors and what to look out for. Either way I tend to avoid anything that may upset any dog. Cats are much more independent and they usually just need feeding and cleaning.
“Caroline has been walking Frito twice a week for the past 6 weeks. Frito adores her and she is communicative, responsible, prompt and flexible. Also, when it has been cold out, she takes Frito for small walks (as I have asked) and then spends time playing with him and loving on him for the remainder of the time. When Frito was having digestive problems on one of her walking days, I contacted her that morning and she moved around her schedule to be able to give him an extra visit to ensure he was ok. I was so grateful and it gave me the peace of mind to leave him knowing she would be there to care for him. I knew he would be in great hands and that Caroline would communicate every detail with me. About: Since a child, I have been trusted to watch, walk, and care for neighbors and friends dogs. I still care for my friends and families dogs. I grew into loving the difficult dogs, training lots of different sports and dog behavior. I love seniors/special needs who just need some TLC. Puppies are my absolute favorite. I enjoy the bond and training from the start. I'm currently a stay-at-home mom looking to start working again and thought this would be a great fit due to my passion with animals. I have a flexible schedule and am available to board most days. Dogs will be given love and attention, play, walks, really whatever they are into or owner needs. My own crew loves to swim in our pool, play frisbee or fetch the chuck-it. I have 3 custom built in crates that are massively oversized. I can keep dogs separate from my own or integrate.
