I am blessed with a large house that has a separate living quarters for the boarding dogs and a big beautiful fenced yard. Both are kept clean and hazard free. I have a daily routine that changes depending on what dogs I have. Each dog gets fed once or twice, a day depending on owner preference. For medical or dietary reasons feeding can me more or less frequent. Any medications needed will be given. Each dog gets back yard exercise daily. Of course they get plenty of love! 🐾 Saftey and cleanliness are my top concerns. My home is clean and hazard free. I am "puppy proof" and always vigilant. I have accommodations and experience working with aggressive or reactive dogs and can also accommodate/work with kennel anxitey. I am able to keep dogs separate from my personal dogs if needed. Dogs that are friendly will be able to socialize/play with my very well tempered pack, depending on owner preference. I have a fenced yard and there are no gaps or ways to get out. I can also accommodate jumpers using a long recall leash!

I've been a dog owner for 16 years, including two Shih Tzus who lived to 16 and 14, so I'm also very comfortable caring for senior dogs. Apple is extremely dog-friendly and enjoys dogs of many sizes, especially those around her size or somewhat larger. I want your dog to feel at home here. I'm happy to follow your normal feeding, sleeping and medication routines, and dogs are welcome on the furniture and beds. I also send plenty of photos and updates so you know how your dog is doing while you're away. I currently work from home, so I have plenty of time to care for your dogs (frequent potty breaks, walks as desired, etc.). Occasionally I will have to leave to run errands or meet with clients, but I am rarely gone for more than 2-3 hours. Days that I anticipate being away for more than 3 hours are marked as unavailable on my calendar. When I’m home, guest dogs are welcome to roam the house and fenced yard. If I need to be away briefly, I’m happy to follow whatever routine your dog is accustomed to. I do have several spare crates for smaller dogs if your dog is accustomed to using one, although I also have plenty of space for you to bring yours. I’m happy to work with each owner to maintain their dog's normal overnight routine.

About: I have been taking care of all different types of animals since I was very young. My mom was a vet tech, she brought home animals to nurse back to health. We also fostered many animals. I found my love for animals then. Especially dogs and cats. I have had so many cats and dogs growing up its hard to keep count. I had had small, big and huge dogs in my lifetime. My dogs are allowed on the bed and couches so your dog is too. If you dont allow that at your home I will do my best to keep your dog off of the furniture. Dogs must be spayed or neutered. I prefer your dog be microchipped and up to date on all vaccines.

About: I've had dogs since I was 6 — growing up with a Doberman, a boxer, then Labs. My last lab, Niner, was a rescue we brought home at 4 and cared for until he was 11. He had neurological issues, and I even made him custom shoes to help him walk. That kind of hands-on, patient care is second nature to me. Now I have Leo and Loki, my two 5-year-old dogs, and I understand the specific needs of large breeds — energy, exercise, and attention to health. Weekdays offer steady, built-in availability, and weekends open up even more for longer walks and playtime. For rainy/snow days I have a large empty basement to play in and run around in.
