During walks, I make sure dogs get exercise, potty breaks, fresh water if needed, and plenty of attention and care. For drop-in visits, I can feed pets, refresh water bowls, provide potty breaks, playtime, companionship, and make sure everything is clean and secure before leaving. I always pay close attention to each pet’s personality, energy level, and any special instructions provided by the owner. About: Hi! My name is Nikki and I’ve lived with dogs and cats since I was a toddler. I always loved helping my parents and grandma with our many pets while growing up, but it wasn’t until I graduated high school that I decided to start expanding to pet-sitting for my friends as well! I was always happy to spend time with and gain knowledge from their furry friends. Two years after high school, I adopted a sweet husky puppy. He was just 8 weeks old when I took him home and I quickly realized raising a puppy is A LOT of work (but worth it!!). After a long journey of trial and error and 4 training classes together, he’s the best friend I could ask for. Three years later my dad rescued 3 more husky puppies, who I also helped raise! About: I've taken care of senior dogs and up to 4 dogs at a time. I am available to stay overnight if needed and don't have a preference for any breed of pets. About: I have been surrounded with dogs since I was born! My family had a golden retriever when I was younger, and we currently have an 11-year old corgi mix, an 8-year old labradoodle, and a 5-year old golden retriever. Finnley, the five year old golden, is my personal dog who I trained, walked, cleaned up after, and took care of. In addition, I lived with a 3-year old boxer last year who I helped take care of and spent a lot of time with. Besides my personal pet experience, I volunteered at the Partners for Pets shelters multiple times where I took care of dogs and cats. I also frequently take advantage of the Adopt a Dog for a Day option at the Oxford Animal Rescue Center whenever I feel overwhelmed or have a free day. Besides volunteering, I had a personal business at 15/16 where I watched both kids and animals for families in my neighborhood. I took care of multiple breeds and ages of dogs, cats, hamsters, and fish. My availability is completely open until June 1st, when I will start a part time job at WashU! With that said, I am still available any weekday after 4, and all day Saturday and Sunday!! At my house, all of my dogs are trained to stay in the yard. All three get treats when they come in (because they are such good boys) and are fed twice daily. My older dog has gum issues that makes his teeth painful to use, so I put his food in water and let it soften so he is able to eat it pain-free. For walks, the two big dogs go on a joint leash and the smaller dog goes on a leash by himself. Distance wise, I take into account if the ground is hot on their paws and the temperature outside to determine how long the walk will be. We love to go to dog parks and play, as well as cuddle and lay out in the sun together.

About: I've had my own cats for almost 6 years, I've volunteered at the Belleville Area Humane Society for around 4 months, and I do occasional dogsitting and housesitting for family friends when needed. I have a summer job that starts on May 26th, and I have training from 9-4 on May 17th and 23rd. About: I've taken care of senior dogs and up to 4 dogs at a time. I am available to stay overnight if needed and don't have a preference for any breed of pets. About: I’ve been caring for dogs and cats for 2 years. As a military member, I’ve often helped fellow military friends and counterparts care for their pets while they were away or working long hours. I currently have two rescue dogs. One terrier mix and a chihuahua, and they are my all. I have also had plenty of pets my whole life. My home was always full of pets, especially beagles. During walks, I make sure dogs get exercise, potty breaks, fresh water if needed, and plenty of attention and care. For drop-in visits, I can feed pets, refresh water bowls, provide potty breaks, playtime, companionship, and make sure everything is clean and secure before leaving. About: I have been surrounded with dogs since I was born! My family had a golden retriever when I was younger, and we currently have an 11-year old corgi mix, an 8-year old labradoodle, and a 5-year old golden retriever. Finnley, the five year old golden, is my personal dog who I trained, walked, cleaned up after, and took care of. In addition, I lived with a 3-year old boxer last year who I helped take care of and spent a lot of time with. Besides my personal pet experience, I volunteered at the Partners for Pets shelters multiple times where I took care of dogs and cats. With that said, I am still available any weekday after 4, and all day Saturday and Sunday!! At my house, all of my dogs are trained to stay in the yard. All three get treats when they come in (because they are such good boys) and are fed twice daily. My older dog has gum issues that makes his teeth painful to use, so I put his food in water and let it soften so he is able to eat it pain-free. For walks, the two big dogs go on a joint leash and the smaller dog goes on a leash by himself. Distance wise, I take into account if the ground is hot on their paws and the temperature outside to determine how long the walk will be. We love to go to dog parks and play, as well as cuddle and lay out in the sun together.

About: Growing up my mom was a professional dog trainer so we always had different dogs in the house. I learned how to do everything from basic care to in depth trick training. My friends, family, and neighbors have always relied on my to care and train their dogs ever since I was young. I have a puppy, an almost 2 year old, and a senior dog in my own home so I am able to care for any age. I am currently a student but there is always someone available to care for the animals in my home. Typically I leave home by 8am and return by 1pm every week day.
