About: Back when I was 4, my family used to have a pet cat named Jade but I called her Jadey. She was a Calico. She was a very nice cat and was the first cat I had. As I got older, I had another cat named Talia, and she had a spunky personality. She was a long-haired tuxedo cat, and I loved her. And before I transferred back to Illinois for schooling, I helped volunteer at a humane society in Terre Haute, Indiana, and I used to care for kittens and cats. My duties there were to clean their litter boxes, water, and food bowls, and change their blankets. I also had the opportunity to have enrichment time with them. It was such a fun experience, and I would do it again!

About: We are the proud owners of an adorable dog (Ace) and are adept with dogs of all shapes and sizes. Everyone in the house (Micah and I) work from home full-time, so the dogs will never be left alone. Ace is always great host and will have a lot of fun with his new furry friend 😊 Ace (a miniature poodle / Bishon mix) can mingle with any visitors but can be separated upon request. About: I have raised and cared for dogs and cats my entire life, all sizes and ages, several with serious medical needs. As a child, my family bred and raised Irish Setters and kept any pup that was not 100% healthy for adoption. Therefore I have experience with all aspects of pet care and I have raised my kids to do the same. We are Tara (49yr), Jaden (15yr) and Alia (12yr) and have been dog sitting for friends and family for years and really enjoy hosting pups to play with and pamper on the weekends since unfortunately we are not home enough during the week to provide adequate care and attention to a full time pup. Our three kitties are very accustomed to dogs but we have plenty of room to separate them if they overstimulate your doggy. Our three level home, plus large back yard, will give your pup plenty of room to play inside and out! We typically run and play in the backyard during potty breaks and go out for several walks a day. The yard is only 90% fenced so I have several 50ft leashes around the yard to provide the illusion of freedom while maintaining safety. If your pup is high energy, they can also play with the neighbor’s dogs or we can take a trip to the dog park so they can socialize and run with other pups. I assure you they will get lots of cuddles and attention and I will send photos and vids of your pup to you throughout their stay! I am available for boarding in my home on the weekends, beginning Friday evening through Monday morning. I can also board at your home from Saturday morning through Sunday evening. I will treat your pet like a member of the family! If they get muddy in the backyard I have no problem giving them a bath and brushing them. They are welcome on the furniture and will not be left alone while they are in my care.

About: I had a rescue dog and took care of him for several years. I also took care of my mom’s senior dog who had vision and bladder control issues. I have dog and cat sit for friends with many different breeds and sizes. I grew up with two cats in my household and am comfortable caring for them. I enjoy being around cats just as much as dogs. :) I make sure to carry out the instructions owners leave for me and am meticulous about keeping their place and pet as clean as possible. I love to play with and take pets for long walks or to the park. I am available every week day from 9 am -9 pm except Thursdays from 4-9 pm. I am available all day Friday through Sunday. I have had dogs in my home before and am comfortable with any kind of care they need. I can put them in a crate or leave them out of a crate for overnights. I live in Hawaii 9 months of the year, so I am not always on Rover, but I do keep my calendar updated and love to watch dogs while I'm here and my boyfriend is working full time I always wake up early to feed my dogs, I am not working full time, and I love to play and interact with dogs all day, and also to take them on walks. Some days that's my only exercise honestly! Lol We love to go on walks. My neighborhood is great for dog walking. My home is very dog friendly with lots of different sleeping possibilities for pets. I have separate areas for feeding dogs so no one is competing for food.

“Gabriela and Richard were so kind and sweet with my toy poodle! They even took her on little adventures to get doggie ice cream and nice walks around the neighborhood, aside from plenty of outside time in their own fenced-in backyard! Gabriela was super great about texting updates and super cute pics of my girl! And they even got her to eat a good bit while I was away even though she usually tries to go on a hunger strike in my absence. Gabriela met us for like 15 mins at the local park before boarding and got to know my dog and garner some info from me, which I really appreciated and not a lot of boarders do that! My girl was very happy when I picked her up and I would absolutely rebook Gabriela and Richard! Highly recommend!”

“Roman was Charise’s first ever Rover dog and we were really happy to have connected with her for our 5-day trip. Charise was a great sitter—she sent detailed updates about how Roman was doing with Navi and hope he was settling in while we were away. Her home is very clean and Charise is a very warm and welcoming host. Navi is just the cutest little nugget ever, and I could tell immediately Roman would feel right at home with Charise. Our big GSD is a big baby and throws a bit of a fit every time we leave, but Charise and Navi were patient with him while he warmed up to the idea of us being away—by the time we returned, he was fully integrated into their little family. Roman is allowed on the couch and bed for cuddles, and Charise has a full basement for the dogs to run around and play, a small yard, and she takes them together on long walks. Roman came home fully pooped from a week of playing with Navi and we’ll definitely be using Charise in the future!”
