He was comfortable and happy, which I knew because he doesn’t usually go up to sitters to say bye when I pick him up. But he did this with her. He made new doggy friends on his walks (which he’s also not always up to) and he and Sir, a sweet little guy, got along wonderfully. And they even got her to eat a good bit while I was away even though she usually tries to go on a hunger strike in my absence. Gabriela met us for like 15 mins at the local park before boarding and got to know my dog and garner some info from me, which I really appreciated and not a lot of boarders do that! I also have experiences with extended stay puppy sitting where I managed feeding schedules, potty breaks, walks, playtime, and creating a calm, structured environment. I understand how important consistency, patience, and attentiveness are, especially with puppies. I’m currently preparing to welcome a Golden Retriever puppy of my own, so I’m very intentional about creating safe, positive experiences for dogs. Walks I am primarily available after work or sometimes the morning before. My partner is currently available most anytime! We are both reliable and detail oriented. We are prepping to bring in our very own golden retriever puppy, so will treat your dog as if they are our own! As mentioned above I work Mon-Friday roughy 8-4. My partner is currently home throughout the day so someone will always be there to care for your dog. We are open to boarding almost any day especially weekends where we are both home. Walks and drop ins work best for me before work hours or after but my partner has open availability so between us we can accommodate to you! About: Back when I was 4, my family used to have a pet cat named Jade but I called her Jadey. She was a Calico. She was a very nice cat and was the first cat I had. As I got older, I had another cat named Talia, and she had a spunky personality. She was a long-haired tuxedo cat, and I loved her. And before I transferred back to Illinois for schooling, I helped volunteer at a humane society in Terre Haute, Indiana, and I used to care for kittens and cats. My duties there were to clean their litter boxes, water, and food bowls, and change their blankets. I also had the opportunity to have enrichment time with them. About: I had a rescue dog and took care of him for several years. I also took care of my mom’s senior dog who had vision and bladder control issues. I have dog and cat sit for friends with many different breeds and sizes. I grew up with two cats in my household and am comfortable caring for them. And they even got her to eat a good bit while I was away even though she usually tries to go on a hunger strike in my absence. Gabriela met us for like 15 mins at the local park before boarding and got to know my dog and garner some info from me, which I really appreciated and not a lot of boarders do that! My love for animals comes from raising my own dogs, especially my sweet girl, Roxi, whom I was fortunate to have from the time she was a puppy until she crossed the Rainbow Bridge in February 2026 at 15 years old.
