About: Get ready for your dog to be spoiled! I am the owner of a 7 acre mini Farm home! Your dogs will absolutely love it here! There are lots of trees around and beautiful grass for them to run around in here. I have always been a natural when it comes to pets, but specifically I love dogs, especially really big dogs! I have had dogs my entire life and I now have a small Shepherd Lab mix at home. I make it a priority to make sure that your dogs are well taken care of, well fed, have lots of fun, and get lots of exercise! So it's more than just a regular boarding/walking experience. Also I am a bit of a photographer so plan on getting lots of beautiful pictures of your dog on the farm from me during their visit. I also have two older daughters who are absolute animal lovers and will play and pet your pups consistently while they are here. My land is not fully fenced off so If need be I will have to walk pups on a leash which is not a problem at all.

I had experience working with animals at Petco and I had a previous job working with puppies from age 8weeks up and LOVED it! I would like to do it again. About: I've been a dog owner for 20 years. Over the last 10 years, friends, family and neighbors have entrusted me with taking care of their dogs. 2 years ago, I took on the venture of fostering dogs in my home. My experience with them has been with puppies through adult dogs. Special needs dogs are welcome too, as I have experience with dogs with seizure disorder and other chronic issues. During the time the foster dogs are in my care, I work to establish a routine, learn basic commands and household manners. I work from home Monday-Friday. My pets (and fosters) stay in my office with me when I working. I am able to care for your pets during my breaks, lunchtime and after hours. My weekends can be a bit more busy, but I can be flexible in working with your needs. I have a small fenced in yard for the dogs to stretch their legs, enjoy the outdoors, and of course relieve themselves. Indoors, I do have crates available if your dogs needs some alone, quiet time. For the past 8 years, I’ve been the proud pet parent of two wonderful dogs who are a big part of my daily routine—I play with them, make sure they get plenty of exercise, feed them nutritious meals, and, most importantly, give them lots of love and attention. I have experience with end of life care for cats, administering pills and fluids to cats, and feeding cats by mouth with a syringe. For example, one of my cats has a hyperthyroid and acid reflux and takes pills to manage it, and another has arthritis and takes a liquid medication orally to manage it. I primarily have experience caring for cats, dogs and hamsters. Petsitting is my focus, so I have plenty of time to care for your pets. I’m normally available for house sitting both weekdays and weekends, however I do have my own obligations and pets of my own to care for, so I must be able to leave for ~4 to 5 hours at some times. Due to this, I am not always able to accept requests for constant care (meaning pets who cannot be left alone for more than 1-3 hours, as an example). I spend as much quality time with my clients as I can, giving them plenty of love and attention. I love cuddling with them if they’re cuddlers and using their favorite toys when I play with them. I cannot take on higher energy dogs to care for, as I cannot provide them with the stimulation and exercise they need to thrive. In addition to Rover’s Guarantee, I am insured and bonded through PCI.

For safety during walks in my neighborhood, there are no sidewalks so we walk against traffic so we can see oncoming cars with dogs on the right side of me farthest away from the road in grass. In the winter, I follow a cold-weather walking policy for safety: if it’s too cold for me in an t shirt it’s too cold for them! Usually requests winter weather gear like boots and coat but one can be provided(washed after every use with pet safe detergent). (Black puffer and no slip socks.) Night time walking- don’t worry about the days getting darker I’ve got it covered with my reflective gear, flashlight, collar light clips, and more.
