I attended obedience training for my family Rottweiler at age 6, and have cared for many big-breed dogs such as pitbulls, American bulldogs, mastiffs, Great Danes, labs, and more. I have been the trusted pet sitter for friends and family starting as early as middle school, and am also very comfortable around small breeds and senior babies. I have experience with Boston terriers, yorkies, daschunds, beagles, and more. I have and am comfortable with administering necessary meds or topicals for pets with extra health needs. About: Work training ESA animals for 1+ yr. I love working with dogs of all sizes. I follow a (direction, correction, praise method) of training. Cat are also welcome I currently have open availability. Please reach out and we can make plans that fit your routine and schedule. Open to making multiple visits a day. I make sure water is always available and trust my pets to be out of the kennel most of the day. I potty at least once every 4-6hrs. And feed after first potty in the morning and in the evening.

I am home all day, as I work remotely, and have a dog of Chocolate lab that loves to play but never gets to spend time with other dogs since we are new to the area. About: I have always had a pet to take care of my whole life. I have a nursing background, so am comfortable with giving any medications as needed. I can bathe, feed and walk your pet as desired. I work fulltime as a hairstylist, so I plan my pet care around my work schedule and only accept bookings that I can give my full attention to. I'm available for walks and drop-in visits during my available days and times, including evenings and weekends. I'm dependable and will always make sure I have enough time in my schedule to give your pup the care and attention they deserve. Your pet's safety, comfort, and individual needs are always my top priority. Before each booking, I'll ask questions about your pet's personality, routine, training, leash behavior, reactivity, triggers, and how they interact with other dogs, cats, and people. I want to understand what makes your pet comfortable and what situations I should be aware of before we head out. For walks, I'll follow your instructions regarding leashes, harnesses, and walking routines and will keep your pet supervised and secure at all times. I'll never let a dog off leash unless you've specifically asked me to and we're in an appropriate, safe area. For drop in visits, I'll follow your instructions for potty breaks, feeding, playtime, and cuddles. I'm also comfortable giving oral medications such as pills when clear instructions are provided. I'll make sure doors, gates, and other entry points are securely closed before leaving. I know every pet is different, so I don't assume that one approach works for every dog. I'll take the time to learn your pet's needs and follow the routines and boundaries you've established for them. I'll also send photos and an update after each visit so you know how your pup is doing!
About: I have grown up with dogs and animals of all sizes my whole life! I currently have a family dog back at home in Illinois (cavachon, 6 years old) who I miss taking care of deeply. I am in med school here in Iowa city for the summer and have very flexible hours, weekends, and payment choices! As I mentioned earlier, I am an ultrasound student in Iowa City Monday through Friday from 8am-5pm. I have certain days off through the week / available almost every weekend! I live at a graduate student / health care worker apartment complex with a dog park and lots of grass and greenery / walking trails all around the complex! Very animal friendly buildings. I also live alone and have a lot of space!

About: I have loved critters of all kinds since childhood. I attended obedience training for my family Rottweiler at age 6, and have cared for many big-breed dogs such as pitbulls, American bulldogs, mastiffs, Great Danes, labs, and more. I have been the trusted pet sitter for friends and family starting as early as middle school, and am also very comfortable around small breeds and senior babies. I have experience with Boston terriers, yorkies, daschunds, beagles, and more. I have and am comfortable with administering necessary meds or topicals for pets with extra health needs. I have also cared for cats, bunnies, fish, and turtles. I am very passionate about rescuing, and happy to discuss any extra care your pet may need due to a life transition like fostering or rescuing. I watched a PETA ad when I was 9 years old and have been vegetarian ever since… I just really love animals! :) I am working part-time from home at the moment, so I am very flexible currently with my schedule. I am typically available in the mornings, afternoons, and early evenings! I have a fenced in backyard, and I do not have a dog of my own. I have a dining area with an extra couch that can be sectioned off if needed for a crate or food. I do have a senior cat who is indoor, who is very friendly with dogs. He grew up around my mom’s beagles, so he doesn’t mind company/energy! I can section off my basement stairs and kitchen for safety if needed. I cannot board any cat-aggressive dogs for my cat’s safety. I do not use any non pet-safe cleaners or pest control in my home.
