About: I've personally had many dogs of different sizes and energies, including a Border Collie, Boxer, American Bulldog. I have experience in training (reward training). I am capable of basic grooming, including nails. The Tibetan Spaniel listed on my profile is actually my daughter's dog and he is only at my home during college breaks, otherwise, they are in Ohio the rest of the year Think of your dog's stay at my house as a vacation at Grandma's. Your dog will be spoiled to the extent that YOU allow (and maybe a tennsy bit more). 😉 I mostly work from home with occasional short stints in a workplace and a very flexible schedule. I can be home at any time to ensure that dogs can potty, get playtime, etc. I never work on the weekends. I have a half acre of flat, safe, fenced in yard with grass and gardens. My schedule is very flexible and can adapt to your dog's feeding, sleeping and play schedule. I have no issues waking early, etc.

About: Hi! I’m Rachel, and animals have been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. These days, my family includes my partner, four kids, and what we lovingly call our “mini zoo”: dogs, cats, a bunny, ball pythons, a bearded dragon, mourning geckos, and multiple aquariums full of fish, shrimp, snails, and dwarf crayfish. In high school I volunteered regularly at a local animal shelter, gaining hands-on experience with dogs of all sizes, breeds, and temperaments. I later worked as an assistant dog trainer, where I learned to read canine body language, encourage healthy play, and build trust through calm, confident handling. Whether I’m caring for one pet or an entire household, I believe great pet care is about more than feeding and potty breaks. I pay attention to routines, behavior, enrichment, and the little details that help pets feel safe while you’re away. I also keep an eye on your home, bring in packages, water plants if requested, and communicate with plenty of updates so you can truly relax while you’re gone. For families who enjoy it, my animal-loving family is often part of the fun. My oldest daughter, Bella, enjoys helping give extra attention, playtime, and companionship to many of our pet guests (always under my supervision). I work as a school bus driver primarily so it leaves my summer & most major holidays pretty open! I am pretty flexible but my main priority is making sure I am respectful of your space as much as I would want someone to be respectful of mine. “This was my first time using Rover and I was pleased with Jessica’s quick response time and enthusiasm to meet and care for Blanca. The process was easy and drop off went smoothly. Jessica’s dog was in a kennel when we arrived to make drop off less stressful for both dogs. The pups were introduced after we left to get their sniffing done on neutral territory (on a walk out front). We received photos and updates during our whole time away and knew Blanca was happy and safe. We would be happy to use Jessica again in the future!”

She sent daily updates with photos, followed Betty’s care info, and absolutely made Betty feel comfortable, loved and welcome into their home! Betty was exhausted after we picked her up, so I know she enjoyed her stay. We felt completely as ease knowing our dog was in such great hands for the week and will definitely be booking with Meagan again!”

About: Hi! I'm a teacher and a lifelong animal lover with a flexible summer schedule, which means I'm home and fully available to give your pets the time, attention, and care they deserve while you are away. I've owned and cared for dogs of all sizes and personalities, from small breeds to large dogs, and I'm comfortable with a wide variety of needs and personalities. Our current fur baby family members include Mya, a 13-year-old lab/hound mix, and Mercury, a 3-year old kitty (who thinks he is a dog). Mya is a lover of all dogs, and Mercury goes with the flow when we have pups visit. I have experience with special needs dogs, including giving medication and extra support. As a teacher, I'm dependable, attentive, patient,and organized. I truly love caring for animals, making them feel safe and loved. During the summer, I'm available to pet care, walks, drop-ins, boarding, and giving lots of love to your fur baby. I have been helping a friend care for dogs through Rover, so I understand how important communication, trust, and reliability is when caring for your pet. One additional bonus - my home is full of animal lovers. I have 3 teens home this summer who absolutely love dogs and cats and enjoy helping give pets extra love, play, walks, and attention.
