I've owned and cared for dogs of all sizes and personalities, from small breeds to large dogs, and I'm comfortable with a wide variety of needs and personalities. Our current fur baby family members include Mya, a 13-year-old lab/hound mix, and Mercury, a 3-year old kitty (who thinks he is a dog). As a teacher, I'm dependable, attentive, patient,and organized. I truly love caring for animals, making them feel safe and loved. During the summer, I'm available to pet care, walks, drop-ins, boarding, and giving lots of love to your fur baby. I have been helping a friend care for dogs through Rover, so I understand how important communication, trust, and reliability is when caring for your pet. One additional bonus - my home is full of animal lovers. I have 3 teens home this summer who absolutely love dogs and cats and enjoy helping give pets extra love, play, walks, and attention. Whether your pet needs exercise, cuddles, special care, or a calm and loving environment, I would be honored to care for them like one of my own. I look forward to meeting you and your furry family members! I’m a teacher so I’m home this summer and available. I have 3 busy teens and am volunteering at the Des Moines Playhouse a few hours a week, but am home most of the time. We have a partially fenced in yard in our planning to completely fenced in in the next couple weeks. We live on a quiet street which is a great area to go on walks.
