“Wish I could give more than 5 stars! Kule was so well taken care of! Jo and Tame treated our baby like their own and absolutely showered her in love. Kule unexpectedly went into heat during her stay and I felt so bad but they took care of her and went out of their way to make her feel comfortable. They always sent pictures and videos of her on her walks and was very communicative during the whole 3.5 weeks. I will totally stay in touch with them and even meet up at the dog park for the pups to play. It’s hard trusting people with our fur babies while we are away but I 100% recommend them to everyone and will use them if ever we are off island again.”
“Bridget and Tiger were amazing! It's so hard for me to normally find someone to watch my dogson Bullish. I am very over protective of him and he is my shadow puppy as well as very spoiled! Before the week stay with Bridget she suggested we have a puppy play date to see how Bullish would get along with their dog, I knew from the play date I had nothing to worry about. They were so nice to Bullish and understand of his and my needs. Throughout the whole stay they updated me daily as well as sent pictures of a very happy Bullish. It was very reassuring for me. He stayed with them 5 days and he obviously loved it, he didn't want to come home! They even bathed him and brushed him before I picked him up. They definitely took care of him as I would. About: I’ve been an animal lover my entire life and have an awesome 5 year old cattahoula mix who loves to make friends! We live at the back of Iao Valley, right next to the stream and have a beautiful fenced in half acre for the dogs to run around on. I work from home so will be w pup all day! They have free range to be inside or outside whenever they want. Lots of attention and love. I have a huge fenced in yard. Dogs have their own door that is always open for them to come in and out. Lots to explore and sniff!

About: Hi! I’m Rae! Ever since my dad handed me my first Boston Terrier when I was a little girl, my heart has belonged to the animals. I was lucky enough to grow up in a household with pets, and as an adult I couldn’t imagine not having pets. I also recognize that even though we wish we could take our furbabies everywhere, it’s just not a reality for a lot of us. So, I’m happy to be able to ease the worry of wanting or needing to travel, work, etc by offering to take care of your babies while you’re away. I’ve also traveled to help take care of pets while they’re pawrents were away, tending to both their pets and home. Currently I have a lot of open availability. I prefer to be able to come to your house as I have two pups and three kitties in my home, and I know a pet is usually more comfortable in their own environment. The less that has to change for pets, the better so they don’t have to experience the stress of a new place or dog boarding. So I’m happy to provide potty breaks, walkies, play time, and in home sitting if needed. With direction from you, I’m happy to follow guidelines that you have set up for your pets in your home from their daily routine, to walks etc.

The property has plenty of space for the pups to roam around, and they have even sent photos and videos of how my dog has responded to being left with them. When I come to collect him he always wants to stay and is always exhausted when he gets home because he has had so much fun during his day. You can tell they love dogs and have a long history of working with them.”

I have a backyard and I am home throughout the entire day. About: I have a husky mix Kea and we are super active! Daily walks and animal care is in my daily routine. I have been doing rover for a long time now. Apart from dogs, I worked/lived at a cat sanctuary in Haiku that had over 200+ cats as well as chickens and cows. About: From puppies to seniors, we've cared for and loved them all. Jack Russels, Chihuahuas and all the mixes. We at one time had 3 little ones in our lives cause we couldn't watch the one sweet chihuahua that belonged to our friend go back to the pound when he didn't quite fit in well with their kids. We took him home to find him a home and we sure did! 13 years of his little life wasn't enough time. Love fostering with Maui Humane when we can, hard to say goodbye but worth it to make their life just a little better for a bit. I work part time from home so I'm usually around to play or snuggle with your pup. We are mostly home bodies so even on the weekend your pup won't be lonely. We have a friendly (for a chihuahua lol) 4 year old Chihuahua that is always looking for playmates! We have an outside space where they can run that energy off too and live close to the beach! So if the paw parents approve we're happy to enjoy nightly sunsets or early morning beach walks while it's not too hot. During the day they can lounge or play in the house or choose to lay in the sun on our fenced front lanai. Special diets don't intimidate me. Ours is a picky eater so I understand the need to mix up the meals every once in a while.

What my dog needs most is a steady, compassionate presence, and that is exactly what they provided. Not long after I dropped my dog off, Michele reached out to let me know that my dog was content, getting along well with her dog, and exploring her new surroundings. That early check-in brought me such a sense of relief. Later, she sent me a photo of my dog resting peacefully in her garden while she gardened nearby, which spoke volumes about how safe and settled my dog felt. Michele was incredibly patient, kind, and genuinely present. She snuggled with my dog on the couch, included her in daily activities (like “helping” in the garden), and it was sweet that she seemed to enjoy my dog’s company. That matters to me more than I can easily express. Having a dog with extra needs can come with a lot of worry about being a burden, and it was sweet to sense that it wasn’t that at all for them. It was also deeply reassuring that they have an older dog themselves. Michele truly understands the rhythms, sensitivities, and nervous systems of senior and special-needs dogs. When I picked my dog up, she was happy to see me and tired in the best way—but most importantly, she was calm and regulated. This tells me everything about the quality of care she received. This kind of support is immensely valuable. I would absolutely recommend Michele and Brian, especially to anyone with an older, anxious, or special-needs dog who needs more than basic sitting. Finding someone like this feels rare, and I would trust them with my dog again without hesitation.”
About: I have extensive experience in dog training and care as my Dad’s business was in rehabilitation, training and boarding for dogs. I worked as an employee for 5 years and also had opportunities to help train and care for the dogs from 12 years old. I love learning more every time I interact with a new dog. I am skilled at training dogs to get over leash aggression and constant pulling. I have worked with many different breeds of dogs and have learned a lot about how this can alter their specific needs. About: I grew up with a dog and have watched many different types of dogs since I was a teenager. I routinely walk and feed my roommates dogs when they are at work. Walking dogs is a great way for me to get daily exercise too. I’m only working part time so I am available throughout the week and have a very flexible schedule right now. Especially in the afternoon and at night There is a fenced in backyard the dog can play in. There are also two other friendly dogs in the downstairs unit who love to play. Before the week stay with Bridget she suggested we have a puppy play date to see how Bullish would get along with their dog, I knew from the play date I had nothing to worry about. They were so nice to Bullish and understand of his and my needs. Throughout the whole stay they updated me daily as well as sent pictures of a very happy Bullish. It was very reassuring for me. He stayed with them 5 days and he obviously loved it, he didn't want to come home! They even bathed him and brushed him before I picked him up. They definitely took care of him as I would. Dogs are taken out for potty breaks every 3hours (or as needed), I shower them with so much love and walks to the parks ect. Playing with, exercising, feeding and even doing some training are all things I like to incorporate in my daily schedule.
