“Wow! Auntie Kathy and her gorgeous gaggle of goldens are the BEST! I cannot say enough about how incredible our experience with Kathy was. She is beyond the best. She is super responsive and took incredible car of my guy. Daily walks to the park, tons of exercise, wonderful homemade treats, big yard, and great company. What more could a golden want? I highly recommend — your pet will love her!”

“BY FAR the best experience my dog has had with a sitter. Lots of enrichment activities and love, was blown away by the pictures they sent. I'm not sure if my girl will even want to leave! Miyi and Dale are true dog lovers 💗”

“Diane is absolutely fantastic! We have very chill older dog and then a younger dog who needs a lot of outside time. She effortless cared for our puppies and provided lovely updates while we were away! I can’t say enough good things - thank you Diane!”

“Great accommodation for our dogs Shirley and Momo. They seemed to have a great time at summer camp with Julie! They got plenty of socialization with other dogs and Julie was very kind to provide us with updates, photos and videos of our dogs playing while we were away. Thanks Julie!”

“We had a week trip coming up and prior to that, we did a trial overnight stay at Randy's for our dog. When we brought our dog on the 1st day of our week trip, our dog waggled her tail as soon as she saw Randy. We felt so comfortable leaving our dog to Randy knowing our dog likes her. She sent photos and videos to us during the trip and kept us informed how our dog was doing. We will definitely use her as our dog sitter on our next trip as well. Thank you so much Randy!!”

“Chelsea and her boyfriend, Josh, really helped me out when I was in a tight spot. They are communicative, reliable, and were available on short notice. They took very good care of my dog and he came home happy and healthy. I think my dog really enjoyed playing with their two dogs. I would certainly use their services again.”

About: I approach every job with a heart of service, integrity, and compassion. I believe animals are a beautiful part of God’s creation, and I’m committed to caring for every pet with the same love, patience, and responsibility I would want for my own. My goal is to provide each pet with a safe, loving, and nurturing environment while giving their owners peace of mind. Pet care isn’t just a side job for me—it’s a meaningful part of my daily life. I structure my schedule around the pets I care for, giving each visit the time and attention it deserves. I care for pets in their own home, where they feel most safe and comfortable. I stick closely to their normal routine, including: Feeding and Medication: I follow all meal schedules and medication instructions exactly as provided. Cleanliness: I refresh litter boxes, clean up any messes, and ensure food and water areas stay tidy. Exercise and Play: I engage with your pets through play, walks, or enrichment—depending on their age, energy level, and personality. Updates for You: I send daily photos and notes, so you never have to wonder how things are going. Home Care Touches: I also bring in mail, water plants, or adjust lights and blinds to give your home a lived-in feel while you're away.
About: I have 5 years of hands-on experience caring for my own dog, a German Shepherd, who has been with me since he was a puppy. I currently work afternoon shifts from 2 pm to 10 pm, which means I’m fully available in the mornings for walks, drop-in visits, and quality time with your dog. My days off are usually Tuesdays and Wednesdays, when I have full availability and flexibility. I’m reliable, organized, and always plan my schedule carefully to make sure every dog gets the attention they deserve. I prioritize safety, trust, and clear communication at all times. I carefully follow each owner’s instructions regarding routines, feeding, walks, and house rules. I’m respectful in clients’ homes and always make sure dogs are secure, comfortable, and calm. I keep environments clean and controlled, and I treat every dog as if it were my own.
About: I have had both cats and dogs since I was in Kindergarten. Friends and neighbors have trusted me with their pet care needs for years. I have been on Rover for over 3 years now and am a trusted and reliable sitter. I oftentimes watch senior dogs, some with medical needs. I am very attuned to what animals need and give them tons of love and attention. It is a reciprocal relationship where we both appreciate the company and cuddles. When boarding dogs, my mom also loves dogs and is able to provide them with much love and attention when I need to be at work. She lives in the house and enjoys helping out with our furry guests. Your pet will most likely not be alone for more than an hour. I am very active and enjoy taking dogs on long walks. I always adhere to the pup's acitivity level and age. I have also cared for a neglected pitbull terrier in my old neighborhood. The dog was chained all the time and not cared for. I asked the owners if I could walk him daily. I have removed ticks and groomed him in an effort to provide some much needed attention and TLC. I have sought out medical care for the dog and helped to build a better shelter. I have also worked to educate the family on what it means to be a dog owner and treat the pup like a family member. Dogs just yearn to protect and be close to thier pack (owners). I still walk him to this day even though I no longer live in the neighborhood. The dog can be aggressive with other people and animals but is always affectionate towards me. I had to train the dog how to walk on a leash as it had not been walked in years. At first, the dog was a bit wild and did not know what to do. Now, he can heel and listens to commands. He even sits for some treats! I know how to use caution and practice safety measures when walking the dog so that others and the aggressive dog are kept safe and unharmed. I have a bleeding heart for animals. I am great with animals of all ages, personalities, and fitness levels! I am a social worker and love to give pets as much attention as possible! I am sensitive to their needs and always make sure your pet is comfortable. I treat them as one of my own. I am available to dog-sit/ house-sit or board most dogs as long as they are house trained.
About: Aloha! I'm Shanon, a naturopathic physician who loves to take care of pets in people's homes. I began caring for my neighbor's cat when I was 10 years old, graduating to dog care in my teens. Since then I have done pet sits in many states and countries, seeing some pets through their lifetimes. My clients have included dogs, cats, bunnies, tortoises, snails, fish and birds. I have also cared for chickens and horses and am willing to look after small farm animals such as goats and sheep. If requested, I take care of gardens/plants, mail/packages and any other issues that may arise while you are gone. Want local or distance references? There are many. Please ask for them! I look forward to hearing from you. Aloha, Shanon Much of my work is online so that I can spend the maximum amount of time with your furry, feathered and scaled friends - I aim to be at home 75% of the time. I treat all pets as my own so they get the attention, love and care they deserve. My services can also include administering medication (pills, subcutaneous injections for cats, insulin shots etc). I strive for your home to be in the same, if not better condition than when you left, and for your pets to be as well-tended to when you are away as when you are home.
About: My experience caring for animals began in grade school, when I helped care for our horses, dogs, and neighbors’ animals. When our Labrador had her first litter shortly before my 10th birthday, I developed an even deeper connection with animals. I’ve always been drawn to their innocence, trust, and unconditional companionship. Caring for them feels less like a responsibility and more like an opportunity to offer the patience, kindness, and love they deserve. I have been a successful financial advisor on the island for 12+ years. Creating this account and becoming a part of this community is purely to give back to something that I truly believe in; quality pet care. Being single and childfree gives me the flexibility to make this happen. I make my work schedule so I am able to be flexible to animal and owner needs alike. I have had multiple friends and family members rely on me for personal pet care. The range of services I am offering would be anywhere from a quick dog walk on lunch break to overnight pet sitting. Experience with: eye drops, medication, wet and dry foods, and waste management 🙃
“Top dog sitter I ever used. He sent loads of fun pix of Zoey. I was able to trust that Zoey was well taken care of. He was quick to reply to any questions. Definitely will be looking for him whenever Zoey is needing a sitter again. Thanks Zakk.”

About: I grew up on a farm with dogs and cats and horses and birds. I love animals and have trained many dogs throughout my life. I have a big fenced in yard and my 14 year old dog just passed away, crushing my soul. Until I ever feel ok again to get another dog, I thought I could love someone else’s dog while helping them out! I work from home and only leave the house for errands here and there. I spend the majority of my life on my property working and tinkering around. I have a big fenced in yard and no other dog currently on property. I do have a cat wandering around. I can continue to crate train and love on them all day.

“Kathy is amazing! She always responded promptly, came to meet me prior so I could have that face-to-face interaction, and gave me complete piece of mind when I was away. She was amazing with my furry kiddos and I would absolutely recommend her & use her again in the future! :)”

About: I've been involved in animal care since I was child. From new born pups needing bottle fed to senior dogs needing meds, I've done it all. I enjoy all animals, but big, active dogs who love exercise and mental stimulation really bring me joy. I've dog sat for Great Danes, Mastiffs, Pitties, I have no problem with size and strength. Special diets, picky eaters, no problem I am an artist and house/pet sitter. I often have sits scheduled months in advance, but sometimes there are empty spots in my schedule that can be filled with a weekend sit or daily check ins. I’m an active person and walking/hiking is always better with a furry companion. I really feel that keeping animals comfortable in their own homes while your away is much less stressful and better for your pet. Missing their humans is stressful enough, keeping them in their environment where they feel safe and connected to their humans means a lot. I don't mind lap dogs or snuggle bugs, and have no problem if they are used to sleeping in the bed with humans. If they are not allowed on furniture and beds I'll follow your rules and wishes. My dog was my world so I understand how important it is to have someone treating your pet like a family member.
“We had a fantastic experience with Diane. She dropped in on our cats while we were away, and she did a great job. Excellent, reliable and friendly sitter. We’ll definitely use her again.”

About: Animals have been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. I’ve cared for dogs, cats, small animals, and hoofed animals, and my experience extends far beyond pet ownership. I hold bachelor’s degrees in biology, psychology, and anthropology. My studies in animal behavior, physiology, and research help me better understand animal body language, behavior, and individual needs. Over the years, I’ve worked with a wide variety of species, including exotic hoofstock and birds in a zoological setting, as well as pigs, goats, and birds through wildlife rescue and animal care work. I also volunteered in an animal shelter environment for approximately three years, where I handled and photographed thousands of dogs to help them find loving homes. Through that experience, I became comfortable working with dogs of all sizes, ages, temperaments, and energy levels. I have experience administering medications and genuinely enjoy caring for senior pets who may need a little extra patience and attention. I’m also passionate about exercise and an active lifestyle and am happy to provide outdoor walks and enrichment for energetic pets. In addition to my animal background, I hold a master’s degree in counseling, which has strengthened my communication skills, patience, and ability to remain calm and attentive in a variety of situations. Whether your pet is outgoing, shy, energetic, or senior, my goal is to provide reliable, compassionate care tailored to their individual personality and routine so both you and your pet feel comfortable and at ease. I’m a small business owner and public school teacher, which gives me a structured yet flexible schedule that works well for pet care. I generally have the most availability on weekends, school holidays, and breaks—especially during the summer months—when I can provide extended, consistent care and house sitting. During the school year, I’m typically available in the mornings and evenings on weekdays, with greater flexibility on weekends. I’m always happy to discuss specific dates and needs to see what works best for your pet’s routine. I value consistency, communication, and reliability so that pets feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for, and owners can enjoy peace of mind while they’re away. I provide pet care in my clients’ homes, where I focus on maintaining each pet’s normal routine in the environment where they feel most comfortable. I follow all care instructions closely and make sure feeding, walks, medication, and daily routines are completed on time and as directed. I treat every home with a high level of respect and care, keeping spaces clean, organized, and exactly as I found them. I’m mindful of both the pet’s needs and the owner’s home, and I prioritize reliability, safety, and consistency in every visit or stay. I also believe clear communication is essential, so I provide updates as needed to give owners peace of mind while they’re away.
About: Leave your pets and home in loving care with me and enjoy your time away worry free! Hi I'm Tatiana and I love animals! I promise to treat your fur family like they are my very own and pamper them with love while you're away. My house sitting rates are for overnights only. That covers a 12 hour period. If you need 24 hours of care let me know and I will share those rates. ✅ I have no problem administering medications or caring for special needs animals, if needed. ✅ I have a great system for following pet routines, helping to keep young ones on track with their training and all pets comfortable in the routines they are used to. ✅ Dogs get special attention with me! If they are able, I will usually take them outdoors for some fresh air and fun! ✅ A free bonus your pets will receive in my care is a massage!! I am a Massage Therapist and one of the courses I chose while in school was Dog, Cat and Horse Massage. It was important for me to understand pain relief for my animal friends as well as my human clients. ✅ I have cared for animals for my entire life. As a child, I helped breed and raise parrots, cockatiels & finches. My personal childhood pet pack included a duck, a dog and a cat who were best friends. Followed by multiple cats, a turtle, a snake, three rats, two hamsters, three rabbits and three aquariums throughout my life. ✅ My Step-Mother rehabilitated injured wildlife. It became part of my passion as well, helping a baby squirrel, baby opossum, many baby or injured birds and a raven all make it back to the wild before the age of eighteen. I started pet sitting not long after that at the age of 22. ✅ I have managed properties and estates throughout my years, as it was something I was instantly great at. Being very organized and clean, a genuinely independent person who can easily communicate with contractors, problem solve easily for my clients when they aren't available, and communicate with great efficiency and clarity with my clients when needed, I have found that my clients are very happy with my care of their property while they are on vacation or away for a season. 💖 I have flexibility in my schedule making it fairly easy to work with me when I am available. My priority is making sure you and your animal family are happy. I do not care for pets in my home. I can and will come to you when my services are hired. I mainly service the Kohala Resort Area & Waikoloa Village! Additional costs for driving will be added to visits taken further than 15 miles.

“Richelle is great with our puppy who is sometimes too rambunctious with her more calm dogs. She instinctively knows when it’s best to separate them. Our Sophie loves going to her house!”
“I am grateful to have connected with Randy through Rover. Randy’s calm demeanor, patience and genuine love of dogs, combined with her serene home with a spacious yard, puts me at ease and thankful for the amazing care she provides to our dog while in her care.”

“My husband and I were nervous about leaving our 8 month old blue heeler with a dog sitter because we had never left him with anyone before. Zakk was a very soft spoken easy going dog sitter that our energetic blue heeler pup took to right away. Zakk met us a local dog park, and to our surprise, Jax hopped right into his car to go spend the day with him. Zakk and his dog played with Jax and him on a hike. When we picked Jax up at the end of the day he was exhausted and happy.”

“Hannah and Miles are such a wonderful set of aunt and uncle to Coco. Their house is dog friendly, likewise the yard. Coco loves to visit with them. Hannah's communication is wonderful and I hope we can work with her again sometime soon.”
