About: I’m a country, animal loving young girl. I’ve spent years caring for farms and ranches or just housesitting with many dogs, cats and much more. I just enjoy soaking up extra time with the critters. I’ve spent time training two of my own dogs and also several others. My dog has been suffering with short term separation anxiety and having their home available to dogsit and board has been so so helpful. The property has plenty of space for the pups to roam around, and they have even sent photos and videos of how my dog has responded to being left with them. When I come to collect him he always wants to stay and is always exhausted when he gets home because he has had so much fun during his day. You can tell they love dogs and have a long history of working with them.”

What my dog needs most is a steady, compassionate presence, and that is exactly what they provided. Not long after I dropped my dog off, Michele reached out to let me know that my dog was content, getting along well with her dog, and exploring her new surroundings. That early check-in brought me such a sense of relief. Later, she sent me a photo of my dog resting peacefully in her garden while she gardened nearby, which spoke volumes about how safe and settled my dog felt. Michele was incredibly patient, kind, and genuinely present. She snuggled with my dog on the couch, included her in daily activities (like “helping” in the garden), and it was sweet that she seemed to enjoy my dog’s company. About: I've been surrounded by animals all of my life, with a wild assortment of pets including dogs, cats, horses, goats, pigeons, an African Grey, hamsters, rats, chickens, and even an iguana! I grew up in the Midwest with parents who were talented breeders and trainers of German Shorthaired Pointers and Vizslas, as well as master gardeners. In my adult life I've lived with dogs, cats, and chickens, though currently have no pets of my own as I travel too much to provide consistent care. I am seeking longer in-home sits (1+ weeks) and am available to chat ahead of booking. I'm a semi-retired professional, and very much appreciating the flexibility therein! I am mainly interested in longer-term, in-home sits, and offer discounts depending on length of stay, number/ages/types of animals, and if use of car is included. “Rochelle was super friendly and accommodating. She had great communication and sent us numerous text during our pups stay. Coco took to Rochelle extremely well, which is not very common for her. About: I’m a country, animal loving young girl. I’ve spent years caring for farms and ranches or just housesitting with many dogs, cats and much more. I just enjoy soaking up extra time with the critters. I’ve spent time training two of my own dogs and also several others. Experience fostering both cats, kittens and puppies is also something I can offer. It’s so rewarding to watch the dogs learn and grow with training and time. I can take your dog on walks and play with them or just chill with your cat. I currently work 3 days a week on a boat and 1 day as a bartender. Feel free to message me for scheduling and availability. If your pet is ok with me being gone on the boat 12 hrs on a couple days I’m happy to housesit for a length of time. My partner can often times let your pet out to potty on my long work days. Usually just Wednesdays are 12 hr shifts. I like to keep the pets routines as close to what they are use to as possible. Playing with, exercising, feeding and even doing some training are all things I like to incorporate in my daily schedule.
