I am available to walk your pets or do drop ins before and after work. Friday-Sunday I have all availability anytime to walk or do drop ins. About: A retired marine biologist. I have had dogs my entire life. Raised puppies and watched them grow old. I’ve cared for dogs of all ages and energy levels. Retired. I’m available most days if you need your pets to be simply fed, let out to pee, or to be entertained. While I take same day requests, there are no guarantees because I have several regularly scheduled walks and drop ins. Please reply promptly, I archive when no response in 24 hours. I have a fenced yard and a young corgi who has full run of the house. He can be shy to other dogs. If your dog has any aggressive tendencies or Keahi does not get along with them for whatever reason, we cannot board your dog. Meet and greets are mandatory before any boarding or daycare. Dogs must be house trained for boarding or daycare (paper trained is not house trained). I cannot and will not leave food out. If your dog has issues eating when they are fed (I feed them when I feed my dog), I have to take your dog’s food away and store it. This is a house, not a kennel where your dog has an assigned lot. If your dog has these feeding issues, consider another sitter. Same goes for finicky or difficult medical application. I have no kids on property.

We hike daily and if your pup is active, they are more than welcome to join us on any hikes that we do! Or if they just like simple short walks that’s great too! I work part time and my schedule is pretty flexible, as long as I know ahead of time, we can work out a schedule that works out! I have a fenced in yard for bathroom breaks or for play time. If your dog is crate trained during the night and you wish to continue, I have medium size crate but you are welcome to drop off their own crate with them, if they like to rest in their own crate, otherwise they are free to roam around the house and rest anywhere! Does your dog have any allergies to food/other things? or is reactive with another dog, or around food? • please let me know in advance so I can take precautions. I’ve lived on Oʻahu for the past three years, and I have two cats of my own. I also grew up around dogs, cats, and other animals, so being around pets has always been a huge part of my life. I’m comfortable with feeding routines, medications, supplements, walks, playtime, and more complicated care schedules. I know how important it is to trust the person caring for your pets, and I treat every animal with patience, love, and attention like they’re my own 🐾 I work in Waikīkī, so I’m available for drop-in visits before and after work and on my days off. For boarding, I’m typically away for about 6 hours during my shift. Your pet will get plenty of attention, exercise, and care before I leave and as soon as I get home. I’m happy to be flexible with drop-off and pick-up times whenever possible. Feel free to reach out if you have any questions about my schedule! I follow feeding schedules, walks, medications, litter box cleaning, and any instructions carefully. I’m also very communicative and like to ask questions and be thorough so I fully understand your pet’s routine, personality, and needs. I know how important trust is when someone is caring for your pets and in your home, so I always try to be reliable, respectful, and communicative. I currently only offer boarding for cats. Visiting cats stay in their own private room, completely separate from my two resident cats, to help everyone feel safe and comfortable. For longer stays, if both cats seem interested and ONLY if the owner is comfortable with it, I may allow short, supervised play sessions to help with enrichment and socialization.
About: I’ve taken care of dogs since 2008, with up to seven in my home at a time. I’m a big softy for dogs but love pets of all kind. I currently have one loving, kind, and gentle one year old pup Kaipo who would love to have a buddy! I’m currently employed full time but transitioning out of the military which leaves me with plenty of time for your furry friends! I typically work from 9-2 pm and the rest of the day is dedicated to your loved ones! I have access to a private dog park for your fur babies to meet new friends and have some fun! My dog Kaipo is also ready and willing to make some friends of his own!

I am packpro training certified, which means I have training on subjects such as dog body language, group play, dog handling, emergency situations and CPR. I also have my own pets - two cats and a Shiba Inu. They are my family, and I'd love to treat your pet like family too! I have had various pets since I was a kid! Rabbits, guinea pigs, cats, dogs - I have even taken care of horses. Animals are my passion! Aside from my dog daycare experience, I have personally pet sit and have done dog walking for my own customers too. I am available on most days, and I will typically offer to do meet and greet before we get started. About: I have always had a love for animals! I work with animals daily. I have owned 2 of my own dogs now and I grew up with a family dog. I currently work Monday-Thursday. I am available to walk your pets or do drop ins before and after work. Friday-Sunday I have all availability anytime to walk or do drop ins. I will make sure your pets get the attention and exercise needed for them to be happy! I have a fenced in yard and a friendly dog and cat, who will enjoy keeping your pet company.
