“Tracey was super patient with all our pre-visit inquiries & requests. She met w/us beforehand to introduce her mom and show us the room where Bootsie would be housed. Tracey’s mom was a very loving & attentive pet sitter!! Even tho she has two cats of her own, she thoughtfully provided a separate litter box & scratching post for Bootsie’s visit. She was very sensitive to his initial nervousness & gave him extra TLC at the beginning of his stay. About: We have two very friendly dogs for your pets to play with here at our house! We have a fenced back yard and water available 24/7. I work a flexible shift Tuesday-Thursday and work close on base. I am able to be here for the pets most the time and also come home for lunch. Hailey and Benjamin made everything easy from the first meet and great, slowly introducing their dogs one at a time and then letting them all roam around their yard, to the first drop off. Thumper was a bit nervous when he was dropped off, but slowly calmed down and enjoyed himself there. Everything made me calm down as well. I got a check-in update and lots of pictures. About: A retired marine biologist. I have had dogs my entire life. Raised puppies and watched them grow old. I’ve cared for dogs of all ages and energy levels. Retired. I’m available most days if you need your pets to be simply fed, let out to pee, or to be entertained. While I take same day requests, there are no guarantees because I have several regularly scheduled walks and drop ins. Please reply promptly, I archive when no response in 24 hours. I have a fenced yard and a young corgi who has full run of the house. He can be shy to other dogs. If your dog has any aggressive tendencies or Keahi does not get along with them for whatever reason, we cannot board your dog. Meet and greets are mandatory before any boarding or daycare. Dogs must be house trained for boarding or daycare (paper trained is not house trained). I cannot and will not leave food out. If your dog has issues eating when they are fed (I feed them when I feed my dog), I have to take your dog’s food away and store it. This is a house, not a kennel where your dog has an assigned lot. If your dog has these feeding issues, consider another sitter. Same goes for finicky or difficult medical application. I have no kids on property.

We hike daily and if your pup is active, they are more than welcome to join us on any hikes that we do! Or if they just like simple short walks that’s great too! I work part time and my schedule is pretty flexible, as long as I know ahead of time, we can work out a schedule that works out! I have a fenced in yard for bathroom breaks or for play time. If your dog is crate trained during the night and you wish to continue, I have medium size crate but you are welcome to drop off their own crate with them, if they like to rest in their own crate, otherwise they are free to roam around the house and rest anywhere! About: I have taken care of my 2 dogs for the past 10 years and I have taken care of my neighbors dogs many times. I have a very needy dog so I know when a dog needs to go for a walk or needs food. My only job is pet sitting so I am extremely available as long as I have time to go on hikes or walks around the city. I walk one of my two dogs 4-5 times a day and I walk my other dog only once or twice a day because she is very old but I feed both of them 3 times a day. I only gives them baths when they get stinky.

While I welcome most breeds, I’m no longer able to board German Shepherds in my home due to previous compatibility issues with Zeus, or small male dogs that are prone to marking indoors. I’m still happy to care for them through drop-in visits or house sitting when appropriate. My priority is always maintaining a clean, calm, and safe environment for everyone. I also prefer to hold meet & greets at my home before new boarding bookings so we can make sure the dogs are compatible and you can see exactly where your companion will be staying. I have experience caring for dogs who are sick or who may have some anxiety. With that, I’m big on taking photos of pets, so you’ll constantly receive updates from me. I work from home full time and am able to take fur friends out on walks throughout the day. My neighborhood is very dog friendly and there’s always a new dog on the block to make friends with. I recently lost my fur baby of 11 years. I work from home full time so I’m able to care for your pup depending on their needs and how often they need to walk/be outdoors. I still have three beds to choose from so your pup will also be able to choose from that selection.

I just finished working at Penn Vet Working Dog Center in assisting to train working dogs that are trained for different disciplines such as; search and rescue, explosives, narcotics and medical detection.
