About: Dogs have been a part of my life for as long as I can remember, and I've been dog sitting for over 13 years so I’ve had the privilege of watching many of my repeat sits grow old gracefully. I’ve cared for dogs at every stage of life, from energetic puppies who need lots of play, patience, and potty breaks, to sweet seniors who need a little extra attention and a slower pace. I’ve also attended dog grooming school, so I’m comfortable handling different breeds, temperaments, and care needs, including administering medication when needed. Most of all, I genuinely love making dogs feel safe, comfortable, and at home. When your dog stays with me, they aren’t just being watched. They get to be part of the family. My schedule is very flexible. I work from home, so I'm available every day of the week to pay lots of attention to your fur babies. I have a spacious, fully fenced backyard where your dog can let out their zoomies, sniff, play, or just enjoy the sunshine with me. I have puppy proofed rooms with hidden cords(they love those!) I know most dogs live life through their noses so I make sure the floors are exceptionally clean and free of crumbs. I love seeing dogs off leash in dog parks but I have a strict leash-only policy when walking. Your baby is allowed on the couch to get all the belly rubs and baby voices! I am comfortable with all breeds of dogs and cats, and can handle an aggressive or frightened pet as long as there are appropriate safe guards for me and the animal. I have been trained to use positive reinforcement techniques which means I will never punish a pet when they can be redirected from the problem behavior instead. I strive to maintain bodily autonomy of the pet so they are not forced to do something they don't want to do unless it's an emergency or they need to be medicated. About: I’ve had animals my whole life, from smaller breeds to large. I’ve worked at two dog daycares before, working with training dogs; grooming( nail trimming and bathes). My love for animals is very endless, they are better than people sometimes XD! I care for my own animals, so pet care is already a part of my daily routine!
