I also worked at a doggy daycare/boarding and have experience in; bathing, feeding, soothing, playing with, and administering certain medications to pups! I’m a huge dog lover and have had dogs all my life. Firm believer that they deserve the world! I currently only work 4 days a week and I work night shifts and am free from early mornings to evenings on days I work and free all day the days I don’t! I currently live in an apartment however I have an abundance of doggy parks with one only 5 minutes away from me! I also have a lot of grass area in my neighborhood! “Esmeralda offered the perfect day care experience for our little morkie, Molly. We were visiting in the Blue Ridge area and had activities planned for two days that would not allow us to bring our pet along. Esmeralda's home was a peaceful retreat in a beautiful, quiet neighborhood. Our little morkie gets overwhelmed and stressed at boarding facilities. But she was happy and playful when I picked her up each day. Esmeralda sent updates and photos both days and was genuinely happy to see Molly each morning. We will definitely use Esmeralda again when we travel to the Blue Ridge area. We highly recommend her!”
About: I’ve always had dogs at home, up to three at once! Most all raised and trained from puppy stages. I had a disabled dog recently who lost usage of her back legs and was incompetent. She required lots of help and being carried around but was a sweetheart. Currently I have eight geckos as well as two snakes, a skink, two cats (mostly outdoor) and one dog. My dogs name is Luna, she’s almost two years old, deaf and mentally special but as friendly as can be! (Several rooms for separation of my dog if needed as well as my crate. So far she gets along well with others) My current weekly routine is as follows: Monday: Feed Cats and Dog x2, feed and mist geckos Tuesday: Feed cats and dog x2 Wednesday: Feed cats and dogs x2, feed and mist geckos, feed skink, feed hognose Thursday: Feed cats and dog x2 Friday: Feed cats and dog x2, feed and most geckos Saturday: Feed cats and dog x2, feed skink Sunday: Feed cats and dog x2 Feed and mist geckos Saturday I go out about every hour and a half for potty breaks. I do not have a fence but I have a large pasture as well as lots of leads. I’m willing to walk for hours with your pet on a leash! I have one friendly pup to keep yours company and I have a spare room. I have the ability to crate my dog and space for a crate for yours if provided. About: I’ve had and taken care of many different breeds and sizes over my life time of dogs as well as special needs and cats too! I typically wake up around 7-8. Go to the gym sometime within the day but other than that I’m free to watch your babies and take good care of them. I have a really friendly dog who is no more than 20 pounds and a fenced in yard if I watch them at my house. If at someone else house I have plenty of experience with that too and can do all that will be asked.

About: I currently pet sit often for my best friend. She has a rescue dog that has special requirements and I have gained his trust and go walk him and his brother when she travels. Understanding that the dogs past experiences can influence their behaviors is very important to me. Some need more patience and understanding than others. I work from home and love spending time with my dogs during work breaks. I can love on your baby during the day as well! I have a big home where your pet is welcome to roam. If they are crated at certain times, I can accommodate that as well. I have a small and large crate in the guest room. If I am stopping by to walk your dogs or feed your cats, I can give them treats and spend time with them as well!
About: Thank you for considering me, I can’t wait to meet your critter! I have volunteered with Compassion Animal Rescue Endeavor of Tallahassee during all four years of undergrad. Here I assisted with dog training classes, guided socialization of the rescue dogs, and walked dogs regularly. It was a great experience to see rescues come in and to then see them blossom into happy, healthy pets! Additionally, I have volunteered with Jacksonville Humane Society during my summer internship in 2018. In my time in this volunteer position I was trained in both dog and cat handling as well as dog walking techniques. These technical trainings have allowed me to have an increased awareness of behavioral aspects of the animals. I would love to continue this hobby of mine through Rover. I love spending time with animals of all sizes and temperaments, and my training has well prepared me to look after your pet! *you’re first of course, but I am stiff competition! I’m currently working from home full time. My schedule is flexible allowing me to do walks and drop-ins, as well as wifi connected so I am able to stay with your pets full time during your booking. The care provided will depend on the service requested! My goal is to continue their daily routines as seamlessly as possible throughout the booking, so if they’re used to cookies when they get in from a walk & to sleep in the bed, please share!
