About: I have helped my brother take care of his Rover bookings in the past while he and I lived together. He and I took care of many different types of animals including dogs, cats, guinea pigs, rabbits, tortoises, and even a pot belly pig. My family has always been an animal loving family. We have always had at least one cat and/or dog in our homes. I currently live with my mother, and I recently had my dog cross the rainbow bridge, so I thought this would be a good way to help cope. I have a lot of love to give for your pet(s). My schedule is very flexible since I work independently, and my mother is widely available to help with boarding since she is retired. My mother does have a 4 year old cat that is friendly with other animals. I am the only one of the two of us that is available to house-sit and pet-sit. We are both happy to help give you the peace of mind and give your pet(s) the love and care that they deserve. As I said before, I am currently working independently which means I make my own schedule. I'm very flexible and can adjust my schedule on short notice if needed. As I also said, my mother is available to help me with boarding throughout the week since she is retired. We have a fenced in backyard and a pet friendly home since we have always had pets. My dog sleeps in my room with me, so I typically wake up early to let her outside to use the bathroom. Then, we socialize with family, and we give her treats throughout the day. She loves chasing a ball in our woodsy backyard, so I make sure to do that with her until she’s panting and thoroughly spent. She eats one bowl a day in the evening with either dried nutritional supplement or leftover dinner from a previous night (she’s spoiled!). Plenty of opportunities to go out to use the bathroom, especially before bedtime. Lots of snuggles. She currently has a lot of my time and attention as I seek full-time work, but I always make sure to let her use the bathroom before I would normally go to work. This kind of intimate care where I spend a great amount of quality time with my dog is how I like to be with pets that are in my care. Frequent check-ins as needed, if not spending a great deal of time together so the pet doesn’t feel lonely in the owner’s absence! Routine is essential for animals, and I try to keep a consistent one with my dog. Routine and consistency will absolutely be kept for any animals in my care. Punctuality and reliability are very important to me— as well as pets!

I can confidently complete any daily task needed, long or short walks, litter box or yard cleaning, giving liquid or pill medicine, and, of course, cuddle time. I am diligent and always ready to learn about your personal routines and needs to keep up with you and your pet's/s' health and comfort. I've worked with many, have house-sat for households with both dogs and cats, and have volunteered at PAWS Atlanta to understand the needs of those animals who need a bit more attention and love than some others. I pride myself on my consideration and patience and am looking forward to learning the ropes of your unique pet! I will be starting my graduate program this August and will have classes Monday through Wednesday (late afternoon to early evening.) With this schedule, I am available for swing-bys to check in or have a quick walk as well as stay overnight to help where I can and take the morning to be with your pet(s). I do have my own little guys at home who I take care of so I would take time through the days assigned to take care of both of my own and yours! I will not be boarding any pets in my own house. About: My involvement with animals has been my whole life, but it started my sitting for friends and family.
