Julie went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable leaving him, especially since Chiko is deaf and uses a special collar. She took the time to learn how to communicate with him, which gave us such reassurance. We loved the adorable photo updates throughout his stay, and when we picked him up, he was one happy (and tired!) pup who fell right asleep as soon as we got home. About: I’ve had animals all my life! When I was 9 we had 3 cats, 4 dogs, a parrot and an aviary of small birds. Over the years I’ve taken care of all sorts of breeds from Chihuahuas to Labradors. Currently I have a semi-reactive pitbull rescue so I’m very sensitive to any special interaction needs. I work from home so my schedule is incredibly flexible. I can pop in pretty much anytime for walks or visits, and overnight care on weeknights is no problem. I can be in your home with your furry one as much or as little as you’d like. Whether they’re couch potatoes or avid walkers, I’m there to keep them occupied, loved and fed (occasionally with some homemade treats).

“Our pup had such an amazing time with Julie and her family! From the moment we arrived, Chiko felt right at home and quickly became part of the family. He loved playing with their two doodles, Chase and Rusty, and even got to meet their goats, pigs, chickens, and play with their kiddos. Their fully fenced yard (many acres) was perfect for safe playtime and gave us extra peace of mind. Julie went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable leaving him, especially since Chiko is deaf and uses a special collar. She took the time to learn how to communicate with him, which gave us such reassurance. We loved the adorable photo updates throughout his stay, and when we picked him up, he was one happy (and tired!) pup who fell right asleep as soon as we got home. We are so grateful to Julie and her family for the wonderful care they gave our pup, and we can’t wait for him to stay with them again. Highly recommend!”

“Nicole was wonderful! She was super friendly and welcoming, and her dog (Cocoa) was just as sweet. Cocoa and Nelly played nonstop and really helped get all of Nelly’s energy out. Nicole also followed all of Nelly’s feeding instructions perfectly, which was super helpful and gave me peace of mind. I loved receiving the daily pictures, too—it was so nice seeing how happy Nelly was during her stay. I’d definitely book with Nicole again!”
