About: I have taken care of animals since the age of 12. I have experience with a wide range of pets including ,but not limited to cats, horses, small dogs ranging from chihuahua, Yorkie, and pomeranian. To larger dogs like German shepherds, Rottweiler, pitbulls, and great Pyrenees hurding dogs. I also have a history of equestrian work with horses so it's made it easier to handle larger dogs. All pets deserve to be pampered and treated like family. Every time no excuse. I am a stay at home mom so I have no schedule to work around. I am available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. How each pet is treated will heavily depend on the owners wants and the pets needs. I will do my absolute best to keep any discussed expectations met. About: I’ve had many animals throughout my life and know that caring for them is my passion. I recently lost my Australian shepherd so this will be filling the void! I’m currently going out for maternity leave at work so my schedule is very open to all the fur babies. About: I have had pets my entire life. I have worked at several different small animal veterinary clinics as well as one animal shelter/ rescue. I believe people have an innate responsibility to pets in the same way that we have an innate responsibility to each other. I consider humane treatment of domesticated animals to be part of the social contract. They don't (usually) choose to be our pets, so it's on us to make sure they have the best lives we can. I also love being physically active all day. I am happiest when I am clocking 25k+ steps per day, so let me spend a few thousand of those steps with your dog. I am fortunate enough to be supported by my partner while I go back to school, and I am not taking summer classes so currently I am fully available to spend time with your pets. I have plenty of experience working with pets, and my philosophy has always been when I am around or handling other people's pets, that I treat them as if they are my own. My partner and I are unable to have children, so our pets are pur immediate family. I understand that pets are not property. They are family. Also, because of my veterinary medical background, I am very strict about what I feed my own pets, and I will always defer to you on how you would like your pets to be handled, treated, fed and rewarded. I use crates, but if you don't, that's great. Whatever works for your family. I don't give my pets cheese or people food very often, but if you wanna do that for your baby, I will happily give them their favorite snack. I don't tell other people how to parent their kids, and I respect however you choose to run your household.
About: I learned the meaning of a dog walk with my border collie Kaia! She was very high energy and loved to walk for miles! I love going for long walks or even runs with dogs. Being a post collegiate runner I have a lot of endurance and really enjoy working out! I love to walk, it is a part of my daily routine so I’m happy to include your dog! I have experience in watching dogs over night in their homes, as well check on dogs if their owner are away on vacation. About: I’ve always had animals since I was young. Lived on a farm so I had all kinds of animals! I know how to administer meds, for diabetic animals as well! I work Sunday -Tuesday 12 hours night shift 7 pm-7 am. My husband also helps me with animals if needed! He always willing to help out however needed. She still took the time to meet us before he was going to be dropped off and answer any questions or concerns we had. She sent pictures and videos, and it was clear to me that my dog had a BLAST. From the very beginning, Sandra and Mark made me feel completely at ease leaving my dog, Lex Luther in their care—and that peace of mind is priceless. They went above and beyond! I received regular updates, including videos and pictures, which meant so much to me. It was clear Lex wasn’t just being “watched,” but truly cared for, loved, and engaged. They played, had treats, and my dog looked comfortable and happy the entire time. When I picked Lex up, I could tell he had been well taken care of—calm, content, and not stressed at all. “Great stay overall. Our dog is very well behaved and was doing very well living in the house. Then we got a call from the sitter's neighbor that found her roaming around the neighborhood (had my phone on the collar). Looks like she left the house while nobody was in. Apart from that, a great and welcoming host and a beautiful countryside.”
“Mary Grace was a godsend to our family. Our beloved and notoriously mischievous 11 year old /70lb shepherd mix is prone to stress and can’t be comfortably boarded in a facility. He is also getting older, so he struggles with separation anxiety and requires frequent walks and intellectual stimulation. Mary Grace was a perfect fit. She is extremely competent and conscientious. She met both Ranger’s needs as a full time companion (walks, feeding, engaging) and my needs as a concerned parent (pictures, updates, etc). It’s the first time we’ve traveled in years that I was not constantly worried about Ranger. I would not hesitate to book with her again or to recommend her to others. She is amazing and I’m so grateful for how well she cared for our boy.”
