About: I work from home and would love to host and care for your fur babies while you are at work or away on vacation. I have loved animals of all types my entire life. My husband and I formerly rescued and fostered multiple rat terriers and placed them in loving homes through an organization called New Rattitude. I currently have a volunteer position with the same organization as a microchip coordinator. While I was in high school and college I worked for two animal clinics in the Metro Atlanta area and volunteered with local animal shelters. My family pets over the past 22 years were 2 Rat Terriers and 2 Rat Terrier/Chihuahua mixes that all lived to be seniors. I have experience in caring for dogs of all ages. Since I am at home so much, your dogs will be not be lonely, they will be doted on and treated like royalty. I have a large fenced in yard for sniffing, exercise and exploration. I only take one client at a time. I do not have any pets of my own. Yours will have my undivided attention and care. I will update you with photos and status reports on a daily basis. Please understand that while we have experience with senior dogs and dogs with special needs, we are currently unable to book dogs that are experiencing incontinence (even with diapers) and night time pacing/spatial disorientation/sleeplessness that comes with senility. Since I work from home, I will keep your dog on any required schedule such as medications, supplements, specific feeding times, and potty breaks. Playtimes and naptimes will be intermittent throughout the day. I have comfy doggie beds throughout the house and under my office desk. My home is clean and safe. I have a secure, fenced in yard with many areas to explore and space to run around. All gates are padlocked. I also stay outside with the dogs that are in my care. I leave a full bowl of water out 24 -7. I allow dogs to sleep in my bed if that is what they are accustomed to, I can also crate them if that is preferred. Your dog(s) will be safe and happy as guests in my home. I have a Red Cross Certification in Pet First Aid in the rare occasion there would be a need. I am also sensitive to dogs with thunder and firework fears, we have a comfy furnished basement space that mutes the bad sounds and we hang out there until everything calms down.

About: Thank you for considering me, I can’t wait to meet your critter! I have volunteered with Compassion Animal Rescue Endeavor of Tallahassee during all four years of undergrad. Here I assisted with dog training classes, guided socialization of the rescue dogs, and walked dogs regularly. It was a great experience to see rescues come in and to then see them blossom into happy, healthy pets! Additionally, I have volunteered with Jacksonville Humane Society during my summer internship in 2018. In my time in this volunteer position I was trained in both dog and cat handling as well as dog walking techniques. These technical trainings have allowed me to have an increased awareness of behavioral aspects of the animals. I would love to continue this hobby of mine through Rover. I’m a licensed wildlife rehabber for the state of GA, and I have extensive experience with medical care in a variety of animals. I’ve been volunteering with various rescues since the moment I was able to, so I have countless hours of experience! One thing that sets me apart is my ability to care for unusual species, as I have experience with practically any pet one can have! From tarantulas to snakes to horses, I’ve petsat them all. I have lots of experience with dogs and cats as well! I’ve been the go-to Petsitter for everyone who knows me, and I also have two cats and a family dog. I have small exotic pets as well! (Rats, frogs, mice, etc.) I’m in college right now, and have a pretty good schedule to work around pet sitting with. I have some classes during the week, but those only last a few hours a day, with plenty of breaks to let fur babies out. I prefer to only board small animals that are contained, simply as I currently have two pet cats. I have an area that the cats are unable to access, but that area is too small for a dog or such. You'll receive photo updates throughout every visit so you never have to wonder how they're doing, and I always make sure your home is secure before I leave.

About: I have taken care of all types of cats and dogs for years. I have 4 cats myself and they are my favorite animals. My neighbors trust me a lot to take care of their pets. I am currently working part time so I have lots of time in the morning and at night to take care of pets and do check ins. I have 4 cats myself and they are all very well taken care of. I have a big house so they have a lot of space to roam around.
