She was very patient with letting my cats get used to her and she always gave them their space and time so they weren't scared. She took measures to make sure the TV wasn't too loud and even changed the channel to things cats may like :). About: I’ve been taking care of cats and dogs my entire life. At 18, I became a veterinary assistant and learned how to upgrade my level of knowledge and care for pets as well as learn how to take care of bunnies and a variety of reptiles. My veterinary knowledge and experience really helped my level of understanding pets in a multitude of ways whether it’s understand their social cues, behaviors, or even if there’s a medical episode happening which can be hard to notice. I do not have a fenced backyard so I will ensure anytime I take dogs outside, they are leashed. All dogs are allowed to free-roam in my house and if they need to be crated for some time, that is no problem. I am very attentive and observant of pets. I keep note of when pets in my home drink water so I know when they may need to go outside to use the bathroom next. I am also very cautious of the items in my household. There is nothing toxic or anything edible in reach of pets. All food and cleaning supplies is put away in a cabinet or pantry. I am also fully aware of the different foods that are toxic to different kinds of pets so I know what needs to be be locked away at all times. When traveling to a clients home, I ensure I spend quality time with their pets. I always inquire how much time a client would prefer me to spend with their pets so I can ensure that my clients pets are getting the best care possible.

About: I’ve cared for dogs and cats for years, and I’m known for being patient, dependable, and great with animals of all ages. I offer drop‑in visits and walks, making sure pets get the exercise, attention, and care they need while you’re away. Whether it’s feeding, playtime, or a good walk to burn energy, I treat every pet like family and keep you updated every step of the way. I work a full-time job, but I make sure I can dedicate time to pet care every day. My routine allows me to provide regular feeding, fresh water, exercise, playtime, and attention before and after work. On weekends and days off, I have additional time available for longer walks and any extra care my pet may need. I understand the commitment involved and am confident I can consistently meet a pet’s needs. I provide care for pets in my clients’ homes during scheduled visits. During each visit, I make sure pets have fresh food and water, clean up after them as needed, provide exercise and playtime, administer any approved medications, and give them plenty of attention and companionship. I also monitor their overall well-being and notify the owner of any concerns. In addition to caring for the pets, I help maintain their routine and can perform light pet-related tasks such as cleaning food bowls, litter boxes, or pet areas to ensure they remain comfortable and cared for while their owners are away.

“Elaine took amazing care of our beagle while we were away for a week. Our dog has had separation anxiety in the past and previously needed medication every night with another sitter, so we were a little nervous leaving her. But with Elaine, she was so comfortable that she didn’t need any medication at all. Elaine let her have free roam of the house and access to a fenced yard, just like she’s used to at home, which clearly made a huge difference. It was obvious how much Elaine genuinely cared about her and treated her like part of the family. Knowing our pup was happy and relaxed made it so much easier for us to truly enjoy our vacation.
