About: Paws & Claws Pet Care of Lake Mary I am mom to an adorable 18lb pup who I raised using the positive reinforcement method. In addition, I've always had pets since I was young. On most days I am currently available for drop-in visits from 6:00 pm to 7:30 pm Monday to Friday. On Saturday and Sunday I have more flexibility. In June 2026 my schedule changes to Thursday and Sunday with open flexibility and 9:30 am to 10:00 am on Monday to Wednesday and Friday to Saturday. Safety is a priority for me. For boarding, dogs must have updated vaccines, be clean, and free of fleas, worms, mites, etc. During boarding with more than one dog, I always make sure that the new dog gets along well with the other dogs before the pet parent leaves. It’s best to know your dog’s personality. If your dog shows signs that they do not respect other pets boundaries even during play then group boarding may not be the best fit. For everyone's safety, health, and happiness, if the dog does not get along then the pet parent may need to make back up arrangements. For best practices, parents should always have a back up option in case things don't work out or if there is an emergency. To prevent the risk of dogs not getting along, the pet parent can offer to buyout the sitter at their full capacity. Other best practices to consider: For pups who are sensitive to minor sounds, it may be best to book them with a sitter who lives in a house versus an apartment. For dogs who are prone to potty accidents or excessive drooling, it may be best to book them in a home that has wood floors versus full carpeting. Pups who don't like to share attention would match best with sitters who except one dog at a time. Pets who have extremely high energy may be happiest with sitters who have a fenced in yard for them to run around freely.

About: While I may not have years of experience like some, my love for animals does not fall short. I have taken care of dogs, big and small. Some with dietary restrictions and rigid feeding routines and others with a more lax regimen. I have house sat/pet sat and stayed in the owner’s home on multiple occasions. I’ve taken care of four dogs of various sizes at once, done drop-ins to feed/change water and let the puppers out for friends and family members, and I’ve also stopped by to do something as simple as a quick walk. Whatever you need, I can do it! I can assure you that I will treat your pet as my own. I currently work full time at a law firm in downtown but I live in Sanford. I have a reliable car and I don’t mind driving. I can pet sit/house sit on weekdays but I have work so it would be morning care and evening/night. I can also take a midday break if needed. I am off on the weekends so I will be able to be there full time. Depending on the owner, I have put pets into their crates when leaving the house or at night for sleeping but I have also let them roam freely, if the owner allows it.

About: I've taken care of pets my whole life, including giving meds, changing diapers for those in heat, taken care of pets is cathartic for me and I love them. I'm a retired law enforcement professional looking to help make a difference for families knowing their pets are well-cared for and loved while their parents are away. Since retired, I have all the time in the world to do something more fun! I will do whatever your pet may need and want. I'm patient and kind, and know the feeling when having to drop fur babies off at someone house. I want to make sure to earn your confidence! Whatever instructions are given, I will provide exactly. I also try to play with them, walk them, ensure they feel safe. I have a safe non-smoking home with a great lanai to look at the conservation areas, and make sure there are no impediments to their safety and happiness.
About: I have worked in a vet clinic setting that has allowed me to work with different types of animals of all ages. I have works from little dogs to big dogs to little cats to big cats. I always treat the animals like they’re one of us and make sure they are comfortable and happy. I always make time for my animals no matter the time I always work around and make sure everyone is happy. I’m open to work around my schedule in their schedule. The care that I give all animals does not change. I care for them all equally making sure they are all comfortable and they feel safe in their home either if it’s in my place or theirs.
About: I grew up with cats and dogs my whole life and shared responsibility for taking care of them with my siblings. I now have my own fuzzball - Miso (Brown tabby cat). I also frequently watch my close friends, neighbors, and family's pets while they’re out of town or just need a little 'me' time away from their energetic gremlins - always being sure to give them lots of love while their person is away. I have helped my closest friend train her Husky/German Shepard mix puppy do simple commands like: sit, stay, paw and most importantly potty training. I do have experience with younger animals so I can help out with training and I of course have loads of patience, experience, and love to care for senior pets too! I have always loved being around animals, they’re such pure creatures that we are soo undeserving of a lot of times! Feel free to shoot me a message to discuss times and availability. I have an apartment that is near a small dog park and other parks in the area as well. I have a younger cat that is still adjusting to dogs but doesn't mind keeping to herself on her kitty castle (cat tower/tree) or in a separate room.

“This a great sitter for my 2 boys, Carina is a caring, loving sitter and treats your pets as if they are her pets. The boys have a great time over Carina's house, with 3, 4 legged playmates and one that looks like them, but in mini form for now, also a little human that interacts with the boys as they are her puppies, all had a great time! Carina sends pictures of your pet while your away, just looking in their little faces, they are happy and comfortable staying over. I have already booked their next stay there, very pleased with her service.”
