About: Despite family members having allergies to cats in my house growing up, it didn’t stop me from absolutely loving cats of all kinds! About: When you board with us, your pet gets more than a place to stay, your pet gets a family to be a part of. We are a family of 6 humans, 1 dog, and 5 chickens and 2 ducks. Your pet will have plenty of playmates! I am a single mother who works from home. I drop off and pick up my kids from school, and run the occasional errand, but usually I am home. I enjoy an evening walk with my chocolate lab and would love your pet to join us. I have a fully fenced, large backyard. I also have two extra crates if your dog is crate-trained and feels more comfortable sleeping in a crate. Pets being on furniture is discouraged, but rarely enforced. I have an SUV and am willing to transport pets if needed.

Morning feeding happen between 6 and 8am followed by yard play and then nap time. Pm feeding are usually between 4:30 pm and 6:30 pm followed by a little time to burn off steam or a walk before bedtime. I do let pets out to use the bathroom every 2 to 4 hours. Bowls and crates are washed and kept clean daily along with vacuuming the floors. Loving and caring for your pet as if it’s my own, long walks, supervised play time, separate feedings, time to decompress, pets will always be leashed or in a secure enclosed area. The precaution of using a leash and making sure I am aware of using that for every single walk is crucial for safety on walks. About: Hi, My name is Maarten and twenty-nine years ago, I applied for an internship at Artis, a zoo in Amsterdam. As luck would have it, I didn't get the job and life took me in a different direction. Now I am 45 years old and fate has finally delivered me to a spot where I can get back to my childhood dream of working with animals. I grew up in a household filled with animals: dogs, cats, guinea pigs, fish, rats and parrots. This nurtured a wide knowledge of animal care. Lastly I always spend the last hour or day cleaning up after myself & the pet, to leave things nicer than I found them. Whether it's taking their trashcan to the road and gathering their mail, along with washing their dishes and making sure the bathroom and kitchen are nice & clean for them to come home to. Or it could be giving the dog a bath if I'm not house sitting as well. Basically if you're going to pay me to do something, I'm going to make it worth your while and be as helpful, clean and efficient as possible! Just a basic rundown in addition to feeding and walking and picking up after said animal, I like to go above and beyond what is expected of me. About: Hi there! I’ve grown up with dogs my whole life. I’ve watched my dad train our dogs, take them to the vet, trim their nails, give them hair cuts, bathe them, walk them, and most importantly, show them love. I also love cats! I worked at small animal hospital as an Exam Technician where I helped care for and assess dogs and cats who came into our care. During the summer of senior year of high school, I was accepted to attend UF’s Gator Vet Camp where I worked alongside UF veterinary students and staff to learn about small and large animal care.
