About: Having a pet in our home for the last 20 years, I welcome yours to visit! We have a 14 year old son who loves to play with all dogs. I do work 8:00 AM -5:00 PM Monday-Friday. Weekends I am home most of the day. Our 4 legged family members are ready for playtime when I get home so thats what they get! We have a large privacy fenced back yard to keep your fur baby safe. I can kennel when I leave for work. We have a rose bushes in the yard but no other plants to worry about!

Only then we'll know if I can accept your doggie. • Hey, we all want this to work out but if the dogs don't like it, well....that's why we do the meet and greet: to know if the choice fits everyone involved and choose accordingly🙏🏻 • I never give "human food" to pets. Occasionally, I share certain fruits with my own dog (specifically those that are safe and non-toxic for them) or, occasionally, a boiled egg; aside from that, nothing else. BUT, your pet will strictly follow the diet you specify. • I clean the bowl and pour fresh filtered water daily. • I have set my account available to no more than 2 pets at a time; however, it is worth noting that regardless of the number of pets present, I guarantee that I can manage their interactions appropriately, as I am always at home. Safety is one of my top priorities and I don't say that just to say it or because it sounds good. It's true. My own dog had a bad experience and got hurt badly by another dog this sitter was taking care of. That's unacceptable! I know what it's like and I'm intentional in not allowing that to happen. • If the pet has socialization issues to the point I'm not able to serve other pet parents, that might incur in additional fees. • I operate with complete transparency, and my mission here is to serve you—to be your assistant and EXACTLY the help you're looking for right now. About: I always had cats growing up and have been a dog sitter for friends/family the past eight years. I’ve had a pup of my own for four years now and can’t imagine my life without her. I treat animals like children and understand how important it is to take care of others’ pets to their standard and beyond! I am a full-time teacher leaving my availability more limited during the school year but I am extremely open during the summer (unless I’m already booked). I do need a bit of notice but am willing to work out a plan at the last minute if possible! House sitting/Drop-Ins: I will always treat your home and belongings with the utmost respect. I’m a firm believer in leaving the home as clean or even cleaner than when I entered it. I will ensure your fur baby’s daily routine is met with careful attention to detail and comfort! Boarding: I have a fenced in backyard and a fur baby of my own to help keep yours company (but let’s do a meet and greet to make sure they get along to ensure their safety)! We love going on walks around the neighborhood, playing fetch in the backyard, hanging out inside in the AC during the hotter months, and cuddling on the couch. Sally is my only dog (Beatles is my sister’s and stays with Sally during our joint vacations). Sally is crate trained for anxiety while alone, so as a safety measure, you are required to bring a crate for your dog when boarding. Dogs will only be crated when we aren’t home. My husband will also help out with your fur baby at times, so if you’d like to meet him too, just let me know! :)

About: Someone in my family always had a cat, and I always wanted to be friends because I could never have one. I learned the hard way very young that cat trust is hard earned. Once I was old enough, cats in need of homes fell into my lap and they have taught me more patience than I ever expected, especially when handling introducing new cats to established homes. There’s something about cats that just clicks with me; I see them, they see us, and we love each other deeply. About: I was born and raised around animals. Dogs and horses being the primary, I've had a couple cats and a bird when I was little. All of my dogs I have gotten as puppies and have done the training myself. I am willing to train in any language you want (basic commands) and I have experience working in vet clinics, which will make it easier for me to see incoming medical concerns. I can tend to your babies outside of my full time job. I do have a 6 year old that has also been raised around animals. I will give them time to go outside play and potty and recieve lots of love (if they like to cuddle). Cuddle time is vital.

I have worked in a general practice for the last 13 years working with companion animals (cats and dogs) but I have grown up with birds, ferrets, fish, turtles and hamsters. About: I love Rover! I mean, what better job exists than to get paid to spend time with other people's animals? My name is Dan, and I have been around animals my whole life. Currently I am a cat dad of two girls, but I am also comfortable and familiar with dogs, rabbits, and other animals as well. I currently live in a large three bedroom. The property is out in the country, but only a few miles away from Gainesville, so it's far enough to be away from the sounds and stress of the city without really being in the middle of nowhere. It's not the fanciest place, in need of remodeling, but it is calm, comfortable, and pet friendly. There is no smoking inside. The property is not fenced, so I will be keeping everyone inside, except for supervised walks, etc. I am able to board cats, most dogs, and other animals as well. I work from home in addition to doing this, so when I do have a furry guest, I am home twenty four hours a day. I like to actually spend time with the animals I have visiting, so if you have a super playful dog- or one that just likes to hang out on the couch next to someone- I'd probably be a good match. If I am not boarding anyone at the moment, I can walk dogs, feed cats, etc, as well, as long as you are not too far away from where I live. Things I require: 1. I need to meet your animals first (especially for dogs). 2. If I don't feel comfortable , or I feel like an animal is not comfortable with me, I will not confirm the booking. Animals are just like people, we all have those we like and don't like, so don't take it personal if I decline a booking. 3. I do need emergency contact and vet information. I hope I never have to deal with any emergency, but it is better to be prepared and ready, than to be running around scrambling if something does happen. 4. Of course, I need as much food, etc, as is needed for the stay. Things I offer: 1. Lots of attention. Of course, some animals- especially some cats- aren't really keen on it, and that's okay! But if they are, I love to play with my guests! 2. I don't mix animals from different families. 3. I don't charge extra for extra cats, and I only charge a little bit extra for extra dogs. I have been doing this off and on for some time now, and while I don't have as many clients as I want to have, my reviews are good and solid for a reason. I have my own two cats who take up all my time when I'm not out taking care of other people's animals, or otherwise working. The only time I'm usually not available is if I have already made prior commitments. I treat animals like they are children, because to me, they are. My own two are my favorite people in this world, but I love animals in general. I especially enjoy cats, friendly dogs, and giant rabbits. 😃 I like to treat each cat, dog, rabbit, etc, as the unique personality they are. Some cats, for example, are a little more standoffish than others. The best thing to do with them is to not push them. Nobody cat or human likes someone standing in front of them demanding attention ! Some dogs, for example, are very laid back and really just want to lay next to you and snuggle. Others are always ready to play! I am knowledgeable about safety, and when I am doing a drop in visit, I always keep an eye out for anything that doesn't look right. When I am dog walking, I like to go places that are less traveled, I keep my attention fully on them, and on everything going on around us. When I am with your animals, they are my first and only priority.

This policy is in place out of care and caution for everyone involved. 🛏️ Crate and Confinement Requirement for Boarding For boarding stays, dogs must be comfortable with crate use or confinement behind a baby gate or similar barrier. This is a non-negotiable requirement. At night and during times when dogs are not being actively supervised, boarding dogs are safely confined. This allows my personal pets appropriate rest and space, and ensures all dogs remain safe when I am asleep or briefly out of the house. Crates or gated areas are used as calm, neutral spaces rather than punishment. If your dog typically uses a crate, pen, or gated area at home, please let me know their routine so I can keep things as familiar and low stress as possible. If a dog is not currently comfortable with any form of safe confinement, boarding may not be the right fit at this time. I’m always happy to discuss alternatives or help determine whether a gradual transition would be appropriate.

About: For as long as I can remember, there has always been animals in my house, but the last 13 years are where my real growth has happened for me as a pet parent and carer. In my own home, there’s always been a variety from dogs to hedgehogs to cats to lizards. I have often found myself as a haven for wayward creatures in need of respite. I have experience caring for, raising, and training puppies as well as caring for senior dogs. I work full time as a teacher but I am often around on the weekends and evenings and am happy and able to make pets a part of my routine! Any space I am in is always treated with the upmost respect— I don’t touch what isn’t mine, I don’t touch what I don’t need to. Integrity and honesty are paramount. If there is an issue with anything, I of course will be upfront about it, as that is what I would expect and want from anyone in my home. I live on 1 acre in Alachua, Florida and about half of that is fenced, so we have a fully fenced back yard with plenty of room for running and playing. I'm also close to the I-75 interstate. I take my job very seriously and understand how stressful it can be to have to leave your pets with a stranger. I always recommend a meet and greet first before booking with me, but sometimes things are last minute and that's okay too. About: I always had cats growing up and have been a dog sitter for friends/family the past eight years. I’ve had a pup of my own for four years now and can’t imagine my life without her. I treat animals like children and understand how important it is to take care of others’ pets to their standard and beyond! I am a full-time teacher leaving my availability more limited during the school year but I am extremely open during the summer (unless I’m already booked). I do need a bit of notice but am willing to work out a plan at the last minute if possible! House sitting/Drop-Ins: I will always treat your home and belongings with the utmost respect. I’m a firm believer in leaving the home as clean or even cleaner than when I entered it. I will ensure your fur baby’s daily routine is met with careful attention to detail and comfort! Boarding: I have a fenced in backyard and a fur baby of my own to help keep yours company (but let’s do a meet and greet to make sure they get along to ensure their safety)! We love going on walks around the neighborhood, playing fetch in the backyard, hanging out inside in the AC during the hotter months, and cuddling on the couch. Sally is my only dog (Beatles is my sister’s and stays with Sally during our joint vacations). Sally is crate trained for anxiety while alone, so as a safety measure, you are required to bring a crate for your dog when boarding. Dogs will only be crated when we aren’t home. My husband will also help out with your fur baby at times, so if you’d like to meet him too, just let me know! :)
