This includes a clean water fountain, full belly, fresh litter box, and plenty of pets and playtime (if they’re interested!) And for your peace of mind, I’ll always include pictures and a detailed update to let you know how they’re doing. Being apart from your loved one is hard, so you can rest assured knowing I will be there to look after them rain or shine! Your cat deserves the best when you’re away — whether anxious, high energy, shy, clingy, talkative, or just looking for treats — I can’t wait to get to know them while making sure all their needs are fully met. My primary job is fully remote, so my schedule can be flexible throughout the entire week. For extended stays and house sits, I may ask to bring my work laptop along, though your cat’s care will be my first priority when visiting. Every cat I care for is treated as if my own. That means: reading body language and establishing trust, providing appropriate medications (pills and topicals only — no injectables), ensuring clean drinking water, following any meal schedules in place, scooping and freshening up litter box, and providing ample cuddles, pets, scratches, and playtime (per your cat’s comfort level and routine.) About: I’ve always had a pet of some sort my whole life. Mostly dogs and cats but while raising 5 kids we’ve had hamsters, gerbils, a bearded dragon, ducks, snakes, Guinea pigs and once a hermit crab, lol. My husband and I are snowbirds traveling to Minnesota in the summer and Spring Hill from October to May. We own a house on 1/2 acre with a large fenced in yard. We have one elderly male chihuahua and a 1-year-old male Yorkie. I'm home all day as is my husband so someone will be with your pets at all times. No areas of our home are off limits to pets because they are people too! I can administer oral medication as needed but have no experience in injections but willing to learn. We have experience with elderly dogs and can carry outside for potty breaks as needed. Both myself and my husband are home full-time (retired) so someone will always be with your animals. We are available Monday through Friday 24/7. Thanks! I have a large fenced in backyard that pets have access to at all times. My Yorkie is still a puppy and is very playful and loves to have friends come over. The older Chihuahua tends to keep to himself. My husband loves to take walks with the dogs. Also, no area in our house is off limits to the animals which includes furniture and beds. We normally sleep with our dogs and yours are welcome to sleep with us too. Of course, if you prefer them to be kennelled we will do that for you too.

And I have owned exotic birds and currently own an Amazon parrot. Friends, neighbors, and family have trusted me with their furry children over several years. I love learning more about the dogs and teaching them tricks. It is an amazing experience to see how they develop. I currently work full time from home, and only have to go into the office every other Wednesday. I have plenty of time for multiple breaks for walks. I currently have a mini dachshund, Mia, who has grown up with cats, dogs, hamsters, rats, bunnies, and probably a few other that I have forgotten over the years. I would love to care for your fur babies (they are all babies to me regardless of their age) when you are at work or away. Pets are part of our family so it may be difficult to entrust them to someone when you cannot be there. Just know, they will be spoiled with treats, hugs, and kisses. I will care for them as if they were my own. For overnight care I have fluffy dog beds throughout the house or they are welcome to snuggle in bed with Mia and I. I do have a crate if needed although I prefer not to use it unless specifically requested. My schedule is flexible so I will have plenty of opportunity to care for, play with, and attend to your fur baby's needs for as long as you need. About: I am 40 years old. In my home there is one cat and one dog. Both are very socialized and can be kept from other pets as necessary. My dog is crate trained in the event I would ever need to separate. Both are kept up to date on shots and on flea treatment. I live in a single family home with a large fenced yard (6 foot privacy fence). I do have harnesses available in various sizes for walks and outings. There are no young children in my home (only a 15 yo girl who loves dogs). There is also no smoking allowed in my home. I have past experience as a vet tech as well as a groomers assistant. About: I’ve had pets my whole life essentially, including dogs, cats, rabbits and horses and I even had a small gentleman’s farm at one point. Still have 3 cats at home but lost my best dog friend (a beautiful Cocker named Tinkerbell) a year ago. Would love to help care for your pets when you can’t. Happy to visit, feed, walk, etc. Tinkerbell had a spinal injury that made the last year of her life require physical assistance to walk and potty, so I’m comfortable with elder or other physical disabilities that may require extra help too. Good with administering meds as well. I retired from my professional career several years ago and have plenty of time to devote to caring for your pets when you cannot and I’m in town. I do enjoy traveling with my wife and our cats but my calendar is always up-to-date so if I’m here, you can count on me! I enjoy interacting with pets on the level they are comfortable with. Some are active and need more exercise and play while others are more laid back and mostly want company and to know they are safe and their humans are coming back while staying in their own home.
