“Irene responded quickly to our last minute need for care for our Bernedoodle so that we could do an airboat tour of the Everglades. She took notes about his schedule and provided videos of our guy to reassure us that he was fine. We’ve only left him with family or our trainer back home, so we were hesitant to leave him with a stranger, especially given his separation anxiety. Irene was affectionate with him, and if we’re ever back in the Miami area, I won’t hesitate to call on her again! About: Animal lover, pet-less at the moment, but with lots of animals in my life. I have plenty of love, patience, cuddles, and care to give to your furry family member, big or small. I know how important and stressful finding a reliable place or a trustworthy person is. For over 20 years now neighbors, friends, and family have trusted me to take care of their beloved pets at their house or mine. I have a very welcoming home with couches to surf, plenty of laps to sit on, lots of treats(or not), walks and playtime. My backyard is enclosed and the community has lots of green areas, several parks, fun walks and a dog park just a car ride away. I don’t mind traveling. I have taken care of two potbelly pigs, two donkeys, a squirrel, and two cats up in Archer, FL. Five cats and an African Gray parrot in Orlando. Several cats and dogs at their homes and mine, and whenever I can, I escape to my friend’s farm to help with the care of their horses. My grand-dog, April, loves to visit and get spoiled! Give me the opportunity to show you how well and at home your baby will feel! I work part-time from home so I have plenty of time to play with your pups! I’m available for boarding 7 days a week. I set up beds in the living room and in my office. I also do pottery, and I have my wheel in an enclosed patio with a rug right next to it for my special helpers! I do a walk in the morning and another one about an hour after breakfast followed by some playtime. Then I do bathroom breaks every two hours or as needed. After noon, I work on my pottery and do some gardening in my fenced backyard. Rest assured your pet will never be outside unsupervised. Late afternoon I take them for a longer walk, a bathroom break after dinner, and again before bed. I make sure your baby is active and well exercised, with plenty of time for play, rest, and cuddles! And of course, I will also follow any schedule or routine they may have. I have a pet friendly home with an enclosed patio and fenced backyard, but rest assured your pup will never be left outside unsupervised. Your pet is welcomed on our couches, our laps, and any part of the house they wish to be in. If I have to go out, and no one else is home, I will leave the TV on with relaxing music or pet friendly content playing. I don’t own a crate, but you’re welcome to bring one if your baby is used to staying or sleeping in one. They are welcome to sleep in any of our bedrooms. I usually don’t allow them on my bed but my daughter will be ever so happy to oblige! If I’m caring for your beloved at your home, I will follow any rules you have set up for them, even sleeping with them if necessary!

About: I have had pets in my home my whole life until my dog recently passed away. I was reluctant of letting in another because I didn’t want to go through the grief all over again. Recently, I have had a feeling to help out as many animals as I can. Don’t be sad it’s over, be happy it happened!!! I want to give these babies love and support no matter the cost. I do this by volunteering at the shelter, and hopefully being able to take care of your pets through Rover!!! I am available whenever needed! I am a full time student with a flexible schedule. I will work around the times that fit your needs. I take dogs out for walks, babysit, and take them on day trips to stimulate themselves. I know bigger dogs especially get stressed out so I like to get them moving. I have toys available and a big land for them to play.

I had to find someone to watch my dog Kimchi a few days before leaving on a trip and Andrea was very accommodating and able to schedule a meet and greet right away. “Irene is THE BEST!!!! I can't express enough how beyond pleased and thankful we were to find her! This was the first time our Willow was being left with a stranger, let alone for four days!! We knew from the first communication with Irene that Willow was going to get exceptional care and Willow did as Irene's care was above and beyond! Irene was confident in caring and accepted to care for Willow without even meeting her firs because of her love and experience with all dog breeds and especially Willow's, American Bulldog. Irene provided a FaceTime to show her home where Willow would be staying. She was thorough and professional, providing a questionnaire to get to know all about Willow from feeding, to playtime, to walking rituals, to likes and dislikes, etc. Irene covered it all! Irene also provided a "checklist" to assist in packing for Willow's stay. Irene was very communicative sending videos and pictures and updates several times each day of Willow's stay. Irene even recognized a nail that was bleeding and properly took care of it. Although Willow was very happy to see us at the end of her stay, she was hesitant to leave Irene as she kept looking back for her as we walked to the car. I highly recommend Irene to care for your pet!! You'll have complete peace of mind while away!!”
