“Jaime is an angel! She took great care of my senior Yorkie Tank (13 YO). Although my request was last minute it went through seamlessly and later she was able to extent his stay with no problem. Her vet tech experience was incredibly important for my baby’s medical condition. She also trimmed his nails for me. I asked for numerous updates which Jamie provided through text, photos and videos. She even went to pick up his wet food when he didn’t eat the dry food I provided. She lives on a yacht and has an excellent setup for fur babies. Now I brag to everyone how my baby boy spent his summer vacation on a yacht 😂.”

“Lindsay did a fantastic job taking care of Skrimsli. He was very happy when we arrived home. She sent messages and photos daily. She spent time playing with him and giving him attention. We will definitely have Lindsay watch over Skrimsli again. Thank you!!!”

“Dawn did a wonderful job taking care of our boys! She sent some cute pictures and checked in each visit with a fun update at how they were doing. Couldn’t recommend more!”

“Wendy came to visit our dog before the drop-in to walk him the next day. That was reassuring since we were visiting the area and needed a visit/walk for our lab. She stopped in at the requested time, sent us pictures, and did a great job on communicating. We would rebook again if we were in the area. This made our travel flexible and we enjoyed our day knowing she had it under control. Thanks!”

About: I have always been a pup enthusiast, I grew up with a huge black lab, Luke. He was the best dog ever, I’d love to take him for walks and play! As an adult I have many dog friends, my sister has the most beautiful pit bull Sadie. I’ll go to her house when I’m in town and take the dog out, Sadie loves when I’m around!! My boyfriend’s parents have two massive Great Danes, we walk them and take care of them all the time. I just have a huge heart for all of our four legged friends. I’ve never met a dog that didn’t like me. I’m extremely responsible and cautious while walking and playing. I’m a bartender so most days I’m free and would love to spend the off time walking and caring for animals. Exercise for both of us. I am extremely responsible and reliable. Always courteous and respectful. I would care for any animal as if it were my own, and treat them and my surroundings with the upmost respect.
About: I have worked with animals professionally for 5 years, but also have 20 years of experience with my own pets. I have a deep love and respect for animals. I work a full time job as a dolphin trainer with inconsistent hours depending on time of year, but my days off are Wednesdays and Thursdays. Most other days I am available before 9am and after 6pm. My current living situation does not allow for me to care for animals in my own home, however I am open to caring to animals in the client’s home. I understand the importance of maintaining a clean space and respecting the boundaries set forth by the client. Please note for house sitting jobs that I do work a full time job Friday through Tuesday so on those days potty breaks would be before work (around 9am) and after work (around 6:30 pm). Wednesdays and Thursdays are my off days so I am available for more frequent potty breaks/play sessions.

It is very important to me that you are confident your pet is taken care of with no worries, so I like to send frequent updates and photos as well. It's also very important to me that my clients come home to a clean, tidy house—just the way they left it.

“Alyssa did an awesome job. I had never had to hire a sitter I didn’t know, and I felt nervous about it. She cared for my kitties for a week while I was out of the country. She sent updates with pics regularly and left my home impeccable. I hope she will house and pet sit for me again in the future.”

“We were camping on vacation in the keys with our sweet dog , Shelby. We are protective dog parents and don’t like leaving her with people we don't know but we had a couple of day trips (golf and shopping) planned that would not be fun for Shelby so we asked our camp office if they knew of a reliable dog sitter in the area and they recommended we use Rover. We put in our information and low and behold we found a great sitter, Julie, and she was close by. Score! 👍🏼😀 She had a great rating, a daycare in her home and a couple of dogs of her own so we thought we would loosen the leash a little and give her a call. The first day Shelby was not to sure she wanted to stay without us but by the end of the day when we picked her up she was a happy dog and the second day she ran right up to Julie. We could tell she had a great day and she was exhausted (that was great for everyone.) We would highly recommend Julie for your dogs care. She sent us videos each day of Shelby’s activities and also kept tract of Shelby’s daily routine so we could easily keep her on track. We were so glad to find Julie and will call her again when we come back to the keys. Thank you Julie, you made our vacation fun for all of us. Love, Matt, Jean and Shelby🐕”

“Christina was great! We came to the keys on a last minute weekend getaway, and just needed someone to watch our sweet boy for the morning. I was having trouble finding a sitter until Christina came to the rescue! My dog loved her right away and she took great care of him!”

“Lindsay was fabulous. Met us outside her house making drop off a breeze and sent several pictures and a video throughout their day with her. Thank you for helping us make our day on the water spectacular.”

“It’s not easy to leave your baby with a stranger. But the moment we met Sonja at a prearranged meet and greet location, she was a stranger no more. We could not have asked for a better experience. Biscuit was treated like family. Sonja sent us a collage of the highlights of Biscuit’s day with her new friends, Sonja’s own two pups and another guest. The best photo of all was Sonja and Biscuit on a pink flamingo float in her pool. Sonja is bubbly and pleasant, accommodating, and responsive. She obviously loves animals. You needn’t hesitate entrusting your precious pet(s) to her care. I only wish that she lived in Fort Myers so that Biscuit could visit with her regularly.”

We were traveling with our whole family, and it was nice to know they were cared for while we enjoyed a little fun on our vacation. About: I’m a huge animal lover and the type of person who will absolutely stop to say hi to every dog I pass. I truly love caring for animals and making them feel safe, comfortable, loved, and right at home while their owners are away. I’ve been watching dogs and cats for years for friends, family, referrals, and people I’ve met along the way, and I genuinely enjoy every minute of it. Growing up, my family helped with dog rescues — and still do today — so caring for animals has always been a big part of my life. I love getting to know every pet’s unique personality. I also have experience with longer-term care and have watched pets for entire summers (up to 3 months at a time), so I understand how important consistency, patience, and trust are when caring for someone’s furry family member. My goal is always to make your pet feel like they’re on their own little vacation while you’re away and make sure they are happy, loved, comfortable, and cared for. I know leaving your pet with someone is a big deal, and I pride myself on being reliable, communicative, and someone you can genuinely feel comfortable trusting with your pet. I would be so excited and grateful for the opportunity to meet you and your pet 🐶🐱. I work from home remotely a lot and am able to take full care of your pets on the weekends and most weekdays. It is a hobby/job for me because I love animals so much! I treat everyone’s pets like my own. Growing up, I had cats, dogs, horses, and every animal you could think of. I would love to have an animal now of my own, but I travel often!

“We love Angelina! Especially my fur baby! She is great and gives all her attention to our baby! Will be scheduling with her weekly and when we leave for trips for now on 😊”

About: I house sat for multiple neighbors when I was in high school. Since then I have house sat or helped friends with their pets through out the years. These jobs were always just as favors, but they would return to me for the job they needed. I come from a family with lots of animals. We always had dogs, cats, rabbits, and horses growing up. All for pets and I love them all! ☺️ I work from home part time. Thus my hours for this job are very flexible. I would prefer to work mid day between 10:00-2:00 MTWF I can not accommodate in home services. Due to roommate’s dog sometimes having an issue with other animals and sometimes not having an issue with other animals. Thus I can not risk there being an issue with your animal.
About: I’m patient, attentive, and genuinely treat every pet like my own! I’m great with puppies; routine, training basics, and gentle structure. I’m equally comfortable caring for seniors who need extra calm and comfort. I pay close attention to body language and behavior, so you can trust your pet is safe, understood, and truly cared for!! This isn’t just a job to me; I love creating a happy, peaceful experience for every animal I meet! I am working part time, so I am flexible to fit the timing and needs of you and your pets! Weekdays are the best bet for me, weekends can be a little tricky! Whether your pet is in my home or I’m in yours, I focus on creating a calm, clean, and comfortable environment! I follow your routines closely; feeding times, walks, potty breaks, cues, and any training you’re working on! Your pet will feel safe with me! In your home, I keep things tidy, respect your space, and make sure your pet gets plenty of attention, playtime, and snuggles of course! When it comes to sitting in my own home, I have a golden puppy, under a year; also a cat, so sitting in my clients home would be my best option!
